My students are expected to complete 1/2 hour of reading and 1/2 hour of math. This takes at least an hour of instructional time away from each subject area by the time students log in and deal with any glitches. I'd like to think the expertise and skills of me, the special Ed/ESL teachers, and paras I work with are more effective than iReady, but no. We need to take teaching away for this website. Not to mention students struggle to maintain attention because it is so boring and will just wiggle their mouse to reach time.

We are expected to have a 75% pass rate, but if students make a mistake on a quiz, they can't go back to fix it and have to redo the whole lesson and quiz. You don't teach the exact same way if a student isn't understanding a concept, so why would a website expect students to do the same lesson they just failed without making any changes to instruction? Once students pass that same lesson, their passing score doesn't cancel out the failed score, bringing their average down.

Math diagnostics/ instruction doesn't give accurate data for the following students in my class:
-Students who are learning English. The language is too heavy/ doesn't show what they are capable of. I have students learning English who are at grade level for math, yet score kindergarten. That data isn't helpful for next steps.
-Students with reading disabilities, like dyslexia.

What is the purpose?

Ok, so I-ready is good and all, but the lessons are never at the right level, they are either too hard, or too easy, I was on level E, let's say, and I was doing well! Really well! But THEN, suddenly, I logged on one day, and I was on level D doing lessons from 2 years ago! Now, I am STILL ON LEVEL D and I am doing NUMBER AND SHAPE PATTERNS! I am 10 YEARS OLD! I don't understand the point. I-ready is just pointless.

I have to do this, and it is the worst thing to do. If you are a parent or teacher, do not get this it will make you the worst parent or teacher EVER.

Your website is Trash. When you fail a lesson you have to restart the entire 50 minute lesson. Thank you for thank you for being an terrible website😞.

I'm a student that uses I-ready everyday and I have to say it is SO boring the lessons are so slow and so easy. And they NEED better learning games and rewards. So overall I have to say I-ready is REALLY Boring.

OK, so basically, this site is the literal BANE of my existence. Whoever came up with this form of torture is going to the deepest pits of hell. Actually, scratch that, DEEPER. The disturbed f*cking mind that came up with this is so insane that they literally are the most awful human being alive. Well guess what? They are dead. Yup, dead. The business is definitely not very well made, and anybody who says otherwise has a very malformed brain. But I should know! I am in school and they make us do i-Ready. It is the single thing that will probably be the death of me. The only reason why I would EVER want to do i-Ready is if someone put me through excruciating psychological torture. I mean, you look anywhere, the reviews are stuff like "Committing toaster bath b/c of this" and "I WILL KILL HIM" and stuff like that. It's just awful, man(the website, not the reviews)! Iready, stupid, dumb Iready. It ruined my life for approximately 2 years. Do you want to hear how much I hate it? I BURNED THE IREADY BOOKS WHEN I WAS DONE WITH IT. I had to do 45 minutes every week as well as 2 lessons. That is at least 1620 minutes that I will never get back because they were based on Iready. I still have terrible feelings for it and will advise it for everyone. I MEAN NO ONE!

Iready isnt helpful, the brain breaks dont even help at all and its just a waste of time it also makes kids super stressed and were allready stressed enough as it is. Iready doesnt teach kids anything and so its pretty much useless. Iready is also WAYY out-dated.

I was doing iready on a monday morning, when i saw a story about this kid who did drugs, then died, and at the end, it said, just kidding, drugs are good. So i went out and bought some weed, and smoked it, then i got AIDs, HIV, Covid, Down syndrome, Autism, breast cancer, testicular cancer, and more. Then i went to the white house and joe biden sharted on me and now im suing america, and iready at the same time. I hope iready sees this cuz they killed my little brother because they gave him AIDs, HIV, Covid, Down syndrome, Autism, breast cancer, testicular cancer, and more. I hate you iready.

This website everytime in reading I miss 1 I mean 1 tiny question it will start speaking for 5 who freaking moments, and makes me stressful this is complete dump in hell website.

I can´t stand i ready anymore. I ready is review after review after review after review. My students say that i ready is boring and constantly asking to increase their level

Iready has two lessons in one, but only counts as one. This is not fair. Iready also takes more time than given to complete, one lesson takes at least 20 minutes. Iready should not be used.

I hate i-ready because lessons are boring and repetitive, and the quizzes are long, only for me to fail them

Iready is just a bad site. It doesn't teach kids anything, and if you fail just ONE question then you have to redo the whole lesson. I don't recommend making your child use Iready for any reason. that is MY proof

I-Ready is total trash. Kids spend HOURS trying to get ONE SINGLE LESSON complete! You can't skip their dialogues, it takes forever, and they have the LAMEST JOKES EVER! They have random cutscenes of two aliens talking, (don't even ask what the voice actors were like...), and there is no skip button. Just teach reading and math yourself teachers, and don't torture your students with this weapon they call a learning tool. Use Khan Academy, for all I care...
