Garbage
May 9, 2023

This is literally the biggest waste of time ever. I am a sixth grade student and I have not learned anything what so ever. It is 20 min of a stupid computer voice read out nonsense. To be honest, freaking Dreambox is better than this

Dude this is the most irritating website ever, doing 30 minutes a day is really draining for me, and for alot of people. Honestly bro it gives you a whole entire lesson abt the smallest things you got wrong, and the voice actors wont just shut up, would've been real nice to add a "skip voice over" so we can get this over with. Not only that 1 wrong mess up ona lesson it'll take you back 2-3 lessons ago. Please free me from this $#*! honestly

I-ready is honestly one of the worst educational websites I've ever used in my life. I-ready is required by the government, and I honestly don't think it should. Yes, it has accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing community which is a good thing but Its almost impossible to find. I had to have a friend show me where it was. The closed captions on/off option should be easier to find in my opinion. As a daily user of I-ready myself, I personally hate it. I-ready just doesn't work for me. It may work for anyone else, but not me. The characters talk way to much. I wish there could just be a feature where you turn off the unnecessary dialogue.

IREADY SUCKS RUN NOW!
March 28, 2023

I an a 6th grader and I hate I-ready.
I-ready is really inaccurate and does not teach you anything. The lessons take way too long. Most teachers at my school know it sucks. It is apparently really expensive for teachers. I am in a highly capable program and I do algebra 1. I find it really easy. Yet after taking the I-ready diagnostic, I-ready placed me at addition with integers! I-ready is actual trash and you should never use it.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE
December 8, 2022

Pro: simpler to access than others
Cons: Tests are f**king stupid and take 3+ hours, lessons are a pain, required to do 40+ minutes takes forever, causes stress because of less information, no reason to use this at all.
For refrence, I am a middle school student, and litterely everyone I've asked(100+ students) hates this.

I'm an English teacher in Iowa, and in our school kids had to do at least 10 lessons per trimester. Which, granted, may not seem like that big of a deal. However, unlike the other teachers I saw the effect it had on all of my students. They would come to school glaring at me, seething, tired, and stressed. And I get it. I teach Junior High, they're going to hate me. But they have never been more tired than when I assigned these. It's advertised to only take 20ish minutes, but it takes way longer. One kid worked on it for an hour (while paying attention) and only then finished it.
Teachers, I urge you not to make your students do this.

Just Remove it
November 20, 2022

I am in 5th grade and want to know how much it has helped me? About 0 times. I have not learned a single thing of my 5 years using this website and it just gives me more useless homework to do. Also an average question is like "Mr. Tickles has ******* toenails. He ate ******* of them and gave half of the toenails left to his friend Mrs. Sucky. How many toenails does Mr. Tickles have now? The answer is *******. But I-Ready says. Sorry, its actually *******

Despite having thousands of dollars put into it a year, they cant make a simple enjoyable platform? I've seen better animation on YouTube kids. And don't get me started on the voice acting. Every time the character models talk its like someones shoving a knife in your ear and spinning it. They made some updated lessons that improve on voice and animation immensely, but in return for that the lessons go from 20-30 minutes if your not paying much attention to lessons that can take over an hour.

Useless
October 14, 2023

It takes so long and when you know the answer but you forget ONE thing it talks for FIVE MINUTES STRAIT and you can't do any thing in that time. Even my mom found it annoying. Each lesson takes like thirty minutes and there's THREE parts in each lesson. A lot of other people and I wonder why teacher's still use it and why do assigned lesson exit. The deal about these is the stress. I have so many over due and that's because:
1. Teacher give you WAY too little time
2. Takes too long
3. Makes you want die
4. Far too stressful
5. Convinces you to QUIT school

My son got a severe headache from the psychotic repetition of iready and then one day while doing it, he snapped and went insane. He was never the same again and his brain had been permanently damaged. He even stabbed me three times with his finger nails.

As a 7th grader in pre-algebra I can confirm that this website is absolute S#!T! The teachers make us do 2 math lessons and over 40 minutes per week and it makes me go insane. There is no point to i ready other than to make kids suffer. When you get 1 little thing wrong it turns into a 95 hour explanation of how to get it right. Just to get it wrong again. It makes you feel slow and dumb. And I do this for a grade. If your teacher gives you an option to do it RUN AWAY! Whoever created this is the reason why kids what mental health problems.

Terrible
September 7, 2023

I would have given it a 0 if I could have. It's boring, and always explains the same stuff repeatedly. You can misclick or typo and you'll be sitting there for 2-5 minutes. I wish school went back to IXL.

I-Ready sucks
March 21, 2022

I-ready gives many people in my class (including myself) anxiety. The tutorial takes soooooo long! By the time you're done you've spent around 30-60 mins, and you might've not even passed the quiz! Teaches you nothing. I-ready sucks. I highly would not recommend this.

Needs More
November 3, 2022

I feel like I don't learn anything from i-ready. The lessons are boring and repetitive, the characters are literally straight out of a four-year old's TV show, and it's so called "teaching style" hasn't taught me anything.

IReady has ruined my life
December 16, 2022

These Iready diagnostics are ruining my mental state. Every time I take it, my parents expect me to get a higher score than last time. If I even get just one below my previous score, they get very angry at me and not talk to me for weeks. I wish there was a different alternative to iReady than what I'm already dealing with right now. Iready has ruined my relationship with my family. Parents, please do not let your kid do iReady. My best friend is going through the same thing and it's causing him to think "violent" thoughts about himself.

Iready is the worst learning application ever created. The lessons take forever and teach you nothing. It is horrible for your mental health and is really stressful, never use this website. It is utter garbage, horrible, and ruins your brain. Use IXL or Khan Academy if you have to. Iready has ruined my life and I hope the creator dies in a horrible way.

THIS SUCKS!
January 27, 2022

This thing is so bad because if you do one thing right it puts you way too far ahead but wrong, you get put down a grade, it tires out kids, and it is a giant waste of time. It doesn't do individual grades, it does class grades, meaning if your class sucked but you were extremely good at it, you would be put too low! And it makes kids feel like they are on a bomb! I would of put this way lower if I could. I would probably give it a -2 because it makes kids go down in teaching or way too ahead, and it stresses them out.

The people who decided to develop such a "learning website" are stupid. They should have stuck to making workbooks for students. The sheer amount of repetitiveness is enough to send one into a depression. They dont even attempt to make it engaging and it is absolute $#*!ing hell. Torture even. $#*! you iReady.
