The employees in the Philadelphia area, with the exception of the store manager at ox. Valley (john), are very unprofessional. It is mostly men and all they do is hit on women, talk about women, and make female customers feel uncomfortable. They are rude and don't seem to take their jobs seriously. They eat on the counter due to lack of breaks and most of their employees work alone all day... & then the dms complain about theft if there is any. The website is a joke, and even if your order does show up, no one will call to let you know. Customer service gives customers what they want just to shut them up, and they never back up the employees. Not a fan of lids anymore.
I purchased a custom ordered hat. When my hat arrived, it was a standard Baltimore Ravens hat. Tried calling them, left a message, no reply. Emailed their "customer service" group, to complain about the order. They said they would send us the correct hat. Never arrived. Emailed them again, asking for a refund, and they agreed. Refund never arrived. Terrible online company. Save your money and go elsewhere.
I ordered a hat for my son's birthday while visiting their store in Mobile, Al. The cashier was very helpful and was happy to place the order. That is where the customer service ended. They sent an immediate confirmation email regarding my order but nothing after that. The cashier gave me a range in when to expect the hat at the time of my order. I called a day before the range was up only to learn that my order was cancelled due to not having the merchandise. It would have been nice if they would have communicated this! My son's birthday is here now and no hat!
I ordered for a Human Race top Lids.com were selling. After making the payment I got an email from Lids saying my item should be received by December 9. Just a day prior to getting my order, I was sent an email delaying it to December 30. Now we are close to the date, I just received another email informing me I will receive my paid item on January 19.
Stitched letters aren't straight. They even stitched over the elastic on side. Looks stupid and feels strange with stitching. Will never buy from them again. Employees said there's nothing they can do. Love throwing away $80 on 2 hats. The one that wasn't custom was great. Completely there F up but no responsibility
Young lady that was working at store #6461 on 07/24/2020 tried to close the store 15 mins early. Then had a attitude because I wanted to buy a hat. Didn't ask for my rewards information and engage in zero conversation. Idk why she's working there tbh
Do not expect delivery of anything purchased through the Lids website in a timely manner. I ordered a $20 hat 5 weeks ago and it has not been delivered. I've e-mailed customer service 4 times and they are completely useless. They told me they couldn't cancel the order because "the order has been sent to the warehouse already". Apparently, when an order reaches the warehouse it sits there for 4+ weeks in a vault that no one can access. They had no problem taking the payment. What bull$hi+. Lids can kiss my apples. Will never walk into a store or go on the website again.
Tried to return a hat, which I purchased two of different sizes, and decided to keep one.
Lids.com denied my request, being 5 days late from their own "policy". For the record, Fanatics, which owns Lids, has a 365-day return policy, while Lids has a 90-day. Confusing, being the same company. Could've at least offered a exchange credit, in my opinion.
Within the same week, back with customer service, on why a hat wasn't delivered yet. Stated it would be delivered in 3-7 business days. Now on day 14. I would not recommend to shop here.
Wish I'd have read up on their non-existent customer service before placing my order and paying $13 for 2nd day delivery. Placed my order on 12/19. Shows delivery will be 12/26.

Ordered a custom hat four months ago, which cost me almost $100. A month later, they send me an e-mail telling me I got a refund because the order was cancelled due to stock issues.
Ordered the same custom hat, in a different colour this time, and two months later I get the same e-mail due to stock issues.
The same day I got the e-mails about the refunds, I would talk to the live chat (which is mostly bot responses by the way), and they would tell me that they still have those colour of hats in stock.
I'm so mad, what a $#*!ty $#*!ing website.
I had exactly the same experience with FANZZ. Ordered a Utah Jazz jersey and they stole my money. I am contacting my bank to see what they will do. I wish I had read these reviews first. I will be the people that wrote good reviews as relatives or people scamming potential clients. These folks are a bunch of thieves. Tried calling them 5 times in business hours, emailed customer service and absolutely nothing back.
The mall does not match what it says. I ordered from 3 websites to give as a gift and Lids arrived much later than I thought.
Before I bought was written 6 to 10 days. And I received email with 18 up days.the birthday was 7 days ago and until today I have not received
They sent my hats separately and when i open the box today on the first one its extremely oversized. Then i notice its not even the right hat. They tried to tell me they don't refund on clearance items been emailing all day finally agreed to refund what a extremely unorganized company!
I ordered a hat from their website for $29 and chose the "ship to store" option as the shipping and fees came out to an unreasonable $25. A week and a half later, I still had not gotten an email about my order status. I called the 24 hour help line and after being on hold for 15-20 minutes, the guy told me that it would be at the store within 11-14 business days "at the very latest". On the 14th business day, I received an email saying it would be another 5 days. I tried called the help line 5 times and was on hold for 15 minutes each time. I will not be ordering from them again.
I purchased an online Seahawks jersey for my son's birthday on Jan 31,2018 When I was checking out, it said shipping would take 2-7 business days. I never received a confirmation email which alarmed me. On Feb 2,2018, $106.84 was taken out of my bank.
On Feb 14,2018 I called customer service *******946. It was an automated message saying they are open from 8-5 Monday through Friday and to leave a message with my order number or contact them by email at *******@fanzz.com.
I did both and of course no response. I tried calling several other times with no answer. I emailed them again on Feb 16,2018. No response. I called a local Fanzz store to see if they could assist me. I was told that it was recently bought out and that may be the issue and I could come into the store to buy another jersey.
Today I have contacted my bank to dispute the purchase. What a hassle. This was my first experience with Fanzz and it certainly will be my last!
I purchased 2 items. A shirt and coffee cup. Items arrived quicker than estimated so I was pleased with that. As it was a gift and I was already late on ordering. However, when my items arrived it was a large box. And when I opened my coffee cup that was wrapped in very little bubble wrap was broken! So much for my gift timing! I went to there site to access customer support and their is computer robots of no help. And only option of returning items damaged is to mail them back and then to be approved and then your refunded! What kind of crap is this. Iailed item back. We will see if I receive a refund. I should have looked at reviews before purchasing anything from the company.
Order items on black friday-still no items on Xmas Eve. I received an email from lids about a promotion so I ordered 2 random hats and 2 t-shirts on black Friday this year. Two week went by and no communication from lids so I called customer service. Customer service said there was a delay and it would go out on Monday(still no tracking number). Monday came and went and no items. Called again on Wednesday, customer service said another delay and it would be next Monday. Monday came and went again and no item. Called again, rep told me 3 of the items were out of stock and cancelled but one of the 4 has a tracking number. Today Xmas Eve and the one item has a tracking number still in label create status. Not sure how a company can advertise having items at a specific price to get people to their site and then just cancel the order. Unless you love wasting your time and getting the run around, I would not recommend lids.com.
I called to verify if an order that I placed for my husband had arrived. The first sales agent was not very helpful and he passed me off to the store manager Jordan. I thought great now I will receive the service that a customer deserves. I was wrong. He was even more rude. I asked him if he would be willing to help me and he told me to "RELAX." After I told him about how I was treated initially he stated "Well your hat is here and there's no need to talk about it further." My husband is a big fan of Lids and I am so mad and shocked that I was spoken to that way.
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I purchased a hat 3 weeks ago and received it 4 times every time it was the wrong size. I had to go back and forth to the post office 4 separate times for the same hat. Told customer service the problem the apologized and continued to make the same mistake. I no longer will receive the hat I purchased as a gift because I don't have time to keep returning the EXACT SAME SIZE hat (incorrect size) ever two days. Supervisors are no help and apologize, but do not know how to correct a simple mistake. Absolutely ridiculous and I would never recommend this company or shop there again.
Purchased an NBA hoodie online; later I received the wrong style/model and 3 sizes smaller. I emailed customer service and after not receiving a reply for almost a week I filled out the enclosed return form and shipped it back to them.
I later received an email stating they would refund my money, minus the $9 I had to pay for shipping. Eight days later and I still haven't received my refund.
They lost a customer forever over $9 dollars; what terrible "customer service."
