My name is JAMES, and I've been a reseller in the luxury goods market for over 15 years. I'm sharing this experience to bring awareness to others and highlight a significant issue I encountered with Legit Grails. Recently, a customer brought in an Hermès Constance To Go wallet bag. As resellers, we often have to act fast when purchasing from the public, so we opted for Legit Grails' 30-minute authentication service, believing it to be a reliable and professional choice. We submitted clear, detailed photos of the item and received an "Authentic" result from Legit Grails. Trusting this outcome, we paid for the item and later sold it to a client. However, the client had it authenticated independently, and it was confirmed to be a replica. After she raised the concern, we referenced the Legit Grails authentication to her—but she urged us to check the company's reviews. To my dismay, I discovered numerous negative experiences similar to mine. Wanting clarity, I had the bag authenticated by two reputable third-party services: Real Authentication and Entrupy. Both confirmed the item was counterfeit. As a result, I have lost over $5,000 and, more importantly, a long-standing client. I'm willing to provide all receipts, documentation, and authentications publicly to support this account. Following my complaint and submission of the new authentications, Legit Grails changed their stance and labeled the item as counterfeit—after the damage had already been done. This incident is why I no longer use or recommend Legit Grails. Unfortunately, there is no real liability or guarantee from services like this. If you choose to use them, I suggest doing so only for basic items—not for high-risk, complicated pieces like Hermès. I sincerely hope Legit Grails reconsiders their policies and takes responsibility for such costly errors. — JAMES
