This suit is awesome and an excellent deal for the price! Lightweight but sturdy and dependable! I bought 3 for our gang and you can't go wrong!
I might possibly update this review after I've had a chance to give them a real work out. I purchased them for a trip and ended up having to take the cage. They appear durable and they certainly fit over my leathers. I may be trying them out next week simply as a means of cutting the 15 degrees during my 55 mile morning ride to Reno.
Suit does run big I have used several times in a mild rain and it works great. Seems very well made and is reinforced in the bottom and sides of the legs. I removed most of the armor inserts just did not work for me. I would buy again quick shipping and a good price.
I just recently purchased this rainsuit and drove all the way through Kentucky in heavy thunderstorms. I was very impressed with the quality. I stayed warm and the suit kept me dry. I was amazed that I was completely dry considering the amount of rain that fell. I would recommend this suit to anyone. GREAT PRODUCT.
Excellant, I bought for my son. He lovess them. Needed a set of rain gear for some time now. Will use them for a long time.
I picked these up based on the reviews and the fact that it seemed to be what i needed. After trying them on i put them to the test and sat on my bike and let my wife hit me with the spray nozzle from the hose.
The pants are in fact protective and very waterproof. The jacket however is not. the front zipper area leaked very little but did leak. It was the back accordian area that leaked bad! It seems like the area was stiched and not sealed at all. When i lifted it to the light to inspect it, i found that the waterproof material had several holes in it allowing water to penetrate soaking me.
All in all it is a very comfortable set that looks and fit great as well as fit the bill to what i wanted... only problem was it failed the test ride...what i recieved was not waterproof.
This rain suit, like other products I have purchased from LeatherUp, is an excellent value for the money. I haven't had an occasion to use it yet, but the quality of design, materials and construction is significantly better than a H-D rain suit that I used to have. I don't think H-D even offers an armored rain suit unless it is a recent addition to their product line. And the cost will be substantially higher no matter what H-D offers. I searched for other rain suits by various manufacturers, and none come close to this one in price, features and value.
I'm a big man 6'2" 360 pounds and the 5xl suit fit great over my other clothes I was very pleased with the suits they pack up in space bags very well and take up very little room. How about the ones with armor but remove the armor it would not stay in place and made the suits uncomfortable without the armor the suits were awesome!
worked great. the only problem is its a little bulkier than i had hoped. 2 suits takes up a lot of storeage space. but other wise a great value

Received promptly-Looks great! The fit is great with a LG..Pants , top a bit off, but not terrible at all. I wished I could have gotten XL top with LG lower, THAT would have been perfect. Seems well made, especialy for the price, and the armor is an added bonus. Anyone looking for a rainsuit should consider this suit.
I ordered a straight fit size, because many of the other ratings suggested downsizing one size as they said the suit fit very large. I figured the suit was sized larger to accommodate gear one wears under it. So, the X-Large fits well, but I don't think I can wear a jacket under it, maybe a vest. The pants fit about right. So, maybe the manufacturer made an adjustment due to the previous comments about being too large. But, I think if I ordered again, I'd order the XXL for the above-stated reasons.
great price....went with a 2x which is the size shirt I wear...Im 6ft 280 and 2x fix great, pants may even be considered a little big....shipping was fast....First rainsuit I have ever purchased now that Im living in Washington state....thanks Leatherup.

haven't had a chance to use these yet,i know that they fit over my perscription glasses and feel good and secure on my face.and based on the quality of everthing else i have bought at this site,i have no doubt they will perform as they should
