Ordered a Porsche TC993 shell. Stated 258mm wheelbase. Cut out shell and trial fitted to chassis. Didn't fit. Wheelbase was more like 250mm. Unfortunately I have customised tamiya TT01 chassis that does not have reversible suspension arms. Called them and answered phone. Advised to email/WhatsApp pictures. 1 week later no response so chased. Took a couple of attempts to get through. Eventually got through and explained I had cut out shell but told me to send back and he would credit. I am now 3 weeks along does not answer phone or emails. I am now down £50 and have no shell.
You can tell a lot about a company when you have issues. Terrible back up service. I will never buy from them again and advise everyone to do the same.
After purchasing a body shell on the 1st of September I am still yet to receive my parcel, it is now the 29th and after checking the tracking with FedEx they also have yet to receive the parcel to deliver. After contacting L&Lmodels via email, Facebook and calling I only managed to get one response and that was that the owner is on holiday, joke of a reply. Scam artist! Check other reviews of this con man on other sites and see for yourself. He does this a lot.
Bought a boat which arrived with a hole in it I returned it and he refunded me but cost me £6 for return postage that he never paid back.
First time I have used L&L Models, Really great service and quick to receive the items I ordered.
