Lagniappeamelia

During a weekend getaway at the Ritz Carlton we decided to eat at restaurant called Lagniappe in Amelia Island. I ordered the Crabcake dinner. It came with medallion potatoes and Coleslaw. I decided to get Crispy Brussel Sprouts instead of The coleslaw. First the crabcakes were mushy and lukewarm and they came with no type of dipping sauce. I had to ask the server if there was a dipping sauce that came with the crabcakes. The medallion potatoes were just that big hunks of sliced potatoes with no special taste a couple of them were a little bit uncooked in the center. Now, the brussels sprouts were a totally different animal. They were labeled crispy on the menu but they were actually burnt Ii attempted to eat one of them but it disintegrated with my fork because it was Beyond charred. I have included a picture of the unappetizing brussels sprouts. I was severely disappointed in the meal and I would say to that restaurant first don't serve people lukewarm food and also with the brussels sprouts they need to find a recipe maybe add some honey, brown sugar or soy sauce to give them a distinct taste and make sure they're not burned. There was nothing appetizing about this meal and I will not be returning.
