Placed and order and 20 minutes after I placed the order, I was sent a new customer coupon. I reached out to see if I can cancel the order or if they would adjust the price. The rejected both my request. They continued to ship out my wallet even though I informed them I would send it right back for a refund. They need classes in accounting to understand that their stupid policies are costing them money to ship something out they know will be returned.
This company although it states they will accept returns they will make up a reason why they deny a return even with a completely unused products. I have emailed with the company many times and they are horrible with customer service. Additionally the wallet is poor quality! I do not recommend in any way!
They claimed this wallet had evidence of use when it was simply removed from the package.
BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a wallet for Christmas for my father. He put a couple cards in to see if it was going to meet his needs and he quickly realized it was not what he wanted. I submitted my return, only for it to be denied since it was "used". So now they are going to send me back the $185 wallet that I don't want all because my dad wanted to see if his cards would work and had them in the wallet for like 2 minutes.
There is no number to call and talk to someone and it is all through chat and email which is super annoying. Needless to say I will never buy from this company again!
False advertisement, not engraved, company lifetime warranty doesn't address issues. What is the most shocking is that this is a Christian owned company, I am sure that if the owner knew about these service issues, he would honor fixing this false advertisement.
I ordered the Buckskin money clip as a Christmas gift and took advantage of the free "engraving." I engraved my husband's initials in Montserrat font on the inside of the wallet. When selecting the engraving option a prototype of the wallet is visible to shoppers. So, I could see the size and style of the text in proportion to the size of the wallet. The wallet arrived in a timely fashion and I had zero issues with delivery.
The wallet is nice for wallets that are not considered luxury. Unfortunately, the initials are UV inked and not engraved as advertised, the initials are much larger than appeared onscreen (they look almost goofy!) and the ink smeared across the wallet.
I did not have a problem reaching someone via email. But, I could not find any other way to reach the company - they don't have a phone number so you can speak to a human when warranty claims go wrong. I asked the support member to send me a wallet that is actually engraved without ink in smaller text, or to send me a wallet without ink printing or engraving at all. The support member sent me the same exact wallet to cover the ink smearing issue but refused to fulfill my request to send me the exact wallet without engraving. So, I suspect that I'll receive the same beautiful wallet without ink printing the same goofy large print, and maybe it won't have smeared ink.
The issue is unresolved and the solution provided by the company is completely unacceptable.
I purchased the King's Loot Passport Wallet on November 29,2024. By December 9,2024—less than two weeks later—one of the internal cardholders broke with minimal use. Disappointed but reassured by the company's "lifetime replacement guarantee," I contacted their customer service via Instagram. I was informed that while they would replace the wallet, I would have to pay shipping costs equivalent to purchasing a standalone Mag Wallet, which is already included in the Passport Wallet.
This approach reflects a business practice known as cost-shifting, where the company promotes a "lifetime guarantee" to attract customers but transfers part of the financial burden, such as shipping and handling fees, to the customer during the claims process. While technically honoring the warranty, this tactic erodes trust and diminishes the perceived value of the guarantee.
Key Issues:
Misleading Guarantee: The "lifetime replacement guarantee" is marketed as a premium benefit, but the hidden costs involved make it feel more like a sales tactic than a genuine customer service commitment. This discrepancy between promise and reality reflects poorly on the brand's integrity.
Inadequate Product Longevity: A product marketed as a luxury item should not experience structural failure in less than two weeks. Quality issues like this highlight concerns about manufacturing standards and quality control.
Unreasonable Cost-Shifting: The cost of shipping to replace a defective product so soon after purchase is not justifiable. Many successful brands, such as Saddleback Leather or Tumi, set a higher standard by covering shipping costs for warranty claims, especially for defects occurring early in a product's lifecycle.
Customer Service Response: The insistence on replacing the entire wallet, rather than addressing the specific defect (e.g., the broken card holder), highlights inefficiency and lack of customer focus. Additionally, refusing to cancel or return a personalized item further limits options for dissatisfied customers, exacerbating frustration.
Negative Impact on Brand Equity: Luxury brands succeed by prioritizing customer experience and trust. Practices like cost-shifting are typically associated with less customer-centric companies and undermine the brand's luxury positioning.
Conclusion: King's Loot markets itself as a luxury brand but employs cost-shifting practices that undermine its "lifetime replacement guarantee" and customer trust. Potential customers should be aware that defects will incur additional costs, no matter how soon they occur, and the warranty may not meet their expectations.
I hope this review helps others make an informed decision. For those considering King's Loot products, be prepared for hidden costs and a warranty process that may not align with the standards of top-tier brands.
On the picture next to the bag I purchased on their web site, for $400.00, ripped and I just want it replaced. There is a logo of a lifetime replacment next to the bag. When I asked to get this replaced, they told me they only replace their wallets. This is horrible, deceptive advertising. They will not reply anymore, and would not let me speak to anyone live. I just want it replaced. So I would highly not recommend them. Please see attached photo. This is deceptive!
I recently experienced significant difficulties with Kings Loot's return policy and customer service, which I feel compelled to share. After purchasing a wallet as a gift, it turned out not to suit our needs. The wallet was tested minimally to check its functionality (e.g., inserting cards and an AirTag to gauge fit), but it remained in perfect condition.
Despite this, my return request was met with repeated requests for photographs and claims that the wallet showed signs of use, which was not the case. Furthermore, Kings Loot insisted on charging me for the return shipping, which added to my frustration given the item was in a sellable condition.
Customer service interactions have mostly been automated responses with little to no flexibility or understanding of my situation. This lack of personal attention and the rigid adherence to protocols without room for customer discretion has left me disappointed. I had initially left a positive review based on my first impression of their customer service, but I've since felt compelled to withdraw that endorsement due to the subsequent handling of my return.
I am sharing this experience to inform potential buyers about the challenges you may face with returns and customer service at Kings Loot. I hope this feedback will encourage Kings Loot to reevaluate their policies and approach to ensure others do not encounter similar issues.
See the photo. I am trying to contact somebody about making an exchange, but in my haste, I clicked the wrong button on their website and I've been locked out. They just keep responding with bot responses. They literally refuse to help me because when I asked in an email for someone to contact me, they said that they are an e-commerce company, and I should check their FAQs.
Unfortunately, businesses like this just force people into the big box stores, because at least there is a modicum of customer service
If you are looking for a company that stands behind their own policies you may want to look elsewhere.
My wife purchased a wallet from Kings Loot for me for Christmas. I did not care for the wallet so she attempted to return it. With a posted return window of Jan 8th (attached screenshot was taken on Jan 5th) she initiated the return on Jan 5th only to receive a response that the return window had closed. She followed up by email multiple times that day, with responses from the company, but they continued to deny the return saying she was outside of the return window.
For the past five days I have attempted to communicate with this company but they continue to reply back with the same generic email denying our request for a refund and not acknowledging our return started three days before the deadlines even with evidence that includes time/date stamps.
They reply to comments on their Facebook advertisements with quick witted responses but proceed with caution getting into a situation where you are looking to purchase from a company that stands behind its product and provides responsible customer service because this company does not come close to doing that.
I purchased a wallet from King's Loot for my partner. They didn't like the wallet, so I filed for a return. I submitted photos, per the return policy, and completed my return submission. After three days, I never received instructions on the return. I checked their return policy over thoroughly on their website and there was nothing regarding Kings Loot providing a return label. In fact, it said that the customer is responsible for covering the return. The only thing Kings Loot return portal provided me was a slip to insert in my package. No label. Nothing. I presumed at that point that I was suppose to pay for my own return, per the website. I shipped it back via USPS. After 15 days, they emailed me saying that my return was expiring. I followed up with customer support, and informed them that it was returned. They said I had to use the label they provided. I told them I never received a label. I double checked my emails and junk mail, there was never communication sent. I checked their return portal again and there was a return label! I wrote them an email explaining what happened and they basically wrote me off and said that they cannot accept returns that aren't done with their labels. I checked the return policy again and they had continently updated their policy to include that they will refuse items that are not returned through their portal. This company is an absolute scam! BUYERS BEWARE!
Do not buy from Kings loot. Very poor customer service and return policy.
They will not take returns as the policy says and only want to give a partial refund when I paid full price for the wallet. $169 is Alot of money to just give away.
Recently bought the hybrid wallet from Kings Loot website. It did not fit all the cards and cash comfortably so I submitted a return request with photos. The wallet was unused per the stated refund policy. The box was opened to see if it would fit 10 credit cards, and immediately realized it was not going to meet my needs.
Kings Loot kept asking for more photos and taking forever to reply back while withholding a refund. They sell the same wallet on Amazon subject to Amazon's refund policy, but if you purchase directly from King's Loot, they will deny your refund if you dare to open the box it came in. It seems pointless to sell a DTC good that a consumer cannot physically touch to see if it fits their needs in order to request a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM KINGS LOOT.
King's Loot advertises a 30-day return policy for their leather wallets. BUT … if you so much as put a few cards in it to check if it performs exactly like in their video (it doesn't), return is negated. The only way to return it would be to open it (don't touch it), and then save EVERYTHING including ANY inserts, and contact them. They will then send a message saying 'start a return'. In that email it will ask if you put any money, cards, or into your pocket. Do that and you may eventually get an email requesting pictures. Do that and you will get a request for the shipping payment. Do that and you might get a return label.
I never got that far because a week went by after my 'start a return' (done the day after the wallet arrived), and I began to suspect they would delay, delay, delay until past 30 days. So I sent the wallet back to them in the original shipping package. They refused to accept the package and did a return to sender. Subsequently I got an email finally outlining their rules and I realized they would never honor a return even if I did every step of their draconian process because I had been so bold as to actually put something into the wallet to check it out.
Many people seem to like the wallets but be absolutely sure before buying because the reality is … they have a functionally NO RETURN POLICY.
