Fun and cute idea buttttttt….
October 9, 2023

Do you guys not look over your own website and the contestants aka the dogs and cats profiles in your own contest? Y'all need quality control employees to look ever the cats/dogs that win the contest over and over again. It's always the same winners and if you look at their profiles it's riddled with people that are exchanging votes which wouldn't be annoying if it weren't for the fact that there are people with an obnoxious amount of multiple profiles and they don't even hide it! Because when they leave votes they reply to their own comments from their other accounts to let the contestant know the fulfilled X amount of votes… It's right there out in the open that these people are cheating and they're basically mocking you and your terms and conditions which you guys clearly don't care about as long as these people are spending money on your site… They are mocking all other participants trying to play fair by making it known for everyone to see that they are creating a bunch of bogus accounts to get votes… That's not okay. Also if someone wins a contest they shouldn't be allowed to participate in the next round… at least to give everyone a fair chance of winning. I do find looking at all the adorable pets a ton of fun and it's a good way to pass the time but held very unfair in many ways. Also find it strange that everytime my pets would rank up in my state a new cat comes out of nowhere and out ranks them just one spot ahead but with enough votes to make it hard to catch up without buying votes… and if you do catch up and pass them by getting enough people to vote, when you come back a couple hours later BOOM there's either a new cat or the cat that you just passed up magically got exactly 1000 more votes… It's also crazy to me that when I logged into my account when I was in incognito mode on chrome it wouldn't let me vote due to risk of ip/bot voter fraud yet you have people with 10+ profiles with exact same name, same pets listed with same pictures blantintlt cheating and their votes aren't blocked? And i wasn't tryna cheat i just wanted some privacy on my browser which incognito mode doesn't hide a users ip address btw yet that wasn't allowed…

Anywho… go vote for my sphynx twins Charlie & Luna. They're the only kids I'll ever need. Maybe I can win this contest for once so I can use the money on their vet bills. No fake crazy sad sob story here like other users use to phish for votes. Yearly vet check up bills are just hella expensive yo…. LOL

An open and honest review of my experience on king pet.
June 8, 2021

Here is a very open and honest review of my experience partaking in the Kingpet contest that will hopefully give other's who are interested an inside look to see if its worth your time or not, and also some tips/tricks and cheats that I discovered while being in the contest. I stumbled upon the contest on facebook and saw that you could win up to 2k in cash if you were placed first place in the kingpet contest. I assumed that meant I posted a pic of my dog (I entered the dog one) and other people would post pics of their dog and we would all vote on who we thought was the cutest pet. Easy enough! I realized it meant sharing with friends and family and trying to get the most votes. I did not however realize until after I had already joined that votes can be bought/purchased. So there for its not really about whose pet is the cutest or most liked on there, its more about who has enough money or can make a promise to others for advanced votes to return votes or payments back to other contestants like a trade/deal. If you want to blow money on votes people WILL in order to get ahead of you, and they do surprisingly enough. You can be in the comp all the way until the last 30min trying to gain votes throughout the entire thing and people can join the comp last minute and buy 20k votes and kick you out of your place last minute. They don't even have to do the work... In my experience that happened. I was in the comp for 3 weeks, spent hours on there everyday but I wanted to give it my best shot. Last min someone swooped in out of no where and took 1st place for the state. I came in 2nd. Also last minute new accounts were made for the world placement and in the last 30min I went from 45th place winning $100 to 60th place winning $50... In a matter of minutes. I'm sure if the comp went on longer I would have been kicked from winning anything. Which makes you wonder... Who are these people that all of sudden swoop in and take the placement? I would say its a scam but if you put in a lot of hard work you CAN win. Like I said I won $50 and out of 4,500 people I placed 60th without buying any votes. I ended with about 13,500 votes. HOWEVER 1st place had 200,000 votes... Who the hell has 200,000 votes. Ill tell you how. These people are the ones who have been partaking in the contest a VERY long time. These are the people who win the jackpot. HOW? Well they build a team over time on there. Yes there are teams and thats how people are getting so many votes. So unless you have a team... your not going to stand a chance. They have a team of over 100 people, and they have givin votes to people in other comps so they are owed votes back... They already have a system set up. So me coming in there brand new and not understanding how this contest even worked... Im lucky I got 60th place in the world... Also first place winning barely had any photos of their dog. And the photo they did have was a very dark depressing photo where you could barely even see there dog... It was taken at night. So its not like this dog was the cutest and thats why they got votes. It literally was a terrible photo. Its because they had a team. You can also get votes by unlocking achievements. I unlocked 35 achievements which is A LOT. Thats more than most people on there who have been playing for years and I literally played for 3 weeks... I even got an achievement where your supposed to get 1st place on the leaderboard in the kingpet mini game. And let me tell you THATS HARD TO DO. Less that 0.1% of people do that. Guess how many votes you get for doing it? 1k votes... Thats nothing... Especially when 1st place is usually racking up 1,000 votes in the first 30min of the comp. I also discovered some hacks/cheats. One of the achievements asks for your pets profile to be shared a certain amount of times on Facebook. If you create a fake facebook account you can do 10 votes a day on your pets profile but also share the link of your pets profile to the fake account as many times as you want before facebook reports the fake profile and shuts the account down. So I had 4 fake profiles going sending me votes and sharing the link to my pets profile so I was able to get the 100 likes achievement and the 500 likes achievement. I tried to get the 10k likes one but only made it to 5,000 because damn 10k is a lot of shares and eventually my facebooks got flagged and reported for abuse lol. Even tho I don't have any friends on them. So that was a hack I discovered. I also discovered that you can email KINGPET and tell them one of your achievements isn't unlocking and they don't really even verify they just unlock it for you... I emailed them because in my case one actually wasn't unlocking but I thought I would test it out with an achievement I didn't really deserve. And they unlocked it... So there's that. I would say its quite a waste of time and not a legit contest. Contests shouldn't be where you can BUY votes... So its kinda trash lol. Ill take the 50$ and never do it again lol. I feel bad for all the people who I told I would return votes too... Because without them I would have never placed where I did. But ill be deleting my account... and ghosting. Lol.

My honest review
April 5, 2020

So i saw kingpet on an ad on Facebook once, i entered my two cats that had no votes at the start to end. I entered them again and it was fun unlocking achievements to use as votes for them, i still didn't win anything they ranked around 600 etc.

I entered them again and i shared the link on social media and to my family and friends, i told them to keep voting 10 times a day. My brother bought votes for my kitten and she ended up in 1st place.
Everything went down hill after that. The second place person bought votes and became 1st again. They were trying to get money for their poorly pet but they were using their own money to buy votes so it made no sense, plus i dont like people trying to get sympathy votes there is a vast amount of people with luxury cats that they apparently found and was about to die etc all for votes basically. I then bought votes and we both ended up in this rage to win, i bought votes they bought votes and it continued to the last minute of the competition till they gave up. I just wanted to be 1st for once as the 2nd place person had already won 1st place with their other cat. It was unfair. I must have spent a good £500 or more and they must have too. So we both lost out on winning money. My kitten won 1st place and id say i got some of my money back from the winnings. A refund is how i look at it. The rules with kingpet is that if you win 1st place you cannot enter again until 60 days have passed. I think it should be a year! Otherwise you can keep entering and the cycle of buying votes to be 1st place continues. Sounds like gambling right? Well thats because it is, it is not a friendly competition if you are competing with people by buying votes.

King pet also known as Playground Inc has a capital of $210.000. Then again thats how they make money, when you buy votes, they own various websites from baby pagents to beauty pagents and pet pagents etc. What a good business. I applaud the couple who came up with this business to be honest.

So anyway, my kitten won and i was short on my winnings to which i sent 11 emails to them until they understood they underpaid me, that's now sorted.

If you win they require ID such as a passport, i can see why, its so that you dont enter within 60 days again under a different user and a different pet etc, if you do and win again, you give your ID again and they will see you already won. So you dont win the money again.

If you enter your pet its a good publicity thing, problem is you need to be in the top 20 to get your pets image used on their social media pages.

You can enter your pet without purchasing votes, though unless you are a celebrity or have a fan base i dont see anyone else voting for you without the need to buy votes to remain 1st place.

Theres also alot of exchange votes with other competitors when they have exhausted their daily limit on their own pet.

Overall its good fun until you buy votes and your gambling phase starts.

Its nice to see other people's pets and i have voted for some of them in the new competition, its nice to see the range of pets to which my husband and i have seen a few breeds we didn't know about and now want one haha i dont think we would be buying anytime soon, i could have used that money to buy another pet but i gambled it, oh well.

Good luck to those who have or want to enter.

I now have a beautiful certificate that i will frame and a loss of £100 or more. It was fun though im done and wont be entering again, this is the appropriate thing to do that some people don't understand, it's to give others a chance to win, even if they make a loss but end up 1st place. Its nice to have a certificate at the end of it...
