While the new model is very similar (except for the shape of the lock body and internal parts which have been upgraded), the price increase was significant. Otherwise, this replacement would have been fine, as we usually allow upgrades like this at no charge. However, in this case, the price increase was just too much. So, the only thing we can do now is cancel your order and issue you a refund of the full amount you paid, including shipping. We will do this shortly and send you an email confirmation. I called the customer service to make sure of a few things about the lock and its function. She was able to guide me though and filled in the blanks as well as made me aware of how to disable one of the features of the lock.

The lock works great! I had an installation question about it and my e-mail was responded to in a timely manner.
The piece I ordered did not come ready to install, there was some slight modification I needed to do to make the latch handle fit in the steel box. Luckily I have the means to do so, but not everyone might. Also, the screws supplied with the steel box were the wrong thread pitch. Specifically, they were the kind of screws that go into a wooden door, not the steel lock box. I had to get new screws from the hardware store to make everything work right. Good product, but some assembly still required (more than advertised).
I am very pleased with the thorough and prompt service. Sandra was particularly helpful in my shopping and decision making process about which item is best suited to my needs. She was extremely knowledgable and very professional, overall once of the most positive sales/customer service interactions I have had in a long time. She is to be commended.

Discovered people were reaching around the existing gate latch protector to sneak in the pool. I ordered 2 more from you. They will definitely solve this problem.

My first purchase from Mexico was perfect. You accepted my card and 3 weeks later I had the merchandise in mi casa. Second time around was a bit of a nightmare. Multiple tries to purchase with my card were rejected. In all fairness to you may bank messed things up in the beginning. Once the card was straightened out it worked everywhere else except with you. You take me into using PayPal which I did and I was told the sale went through. A day later you told me it didn't go through and and needed to try again. A couple of days after that I was in the bank and found out that you did in fact take my money even though you said there was no sale completed. I told you about that and I give you credit for straightening that out quickly and shipping the product. Almost a month later my box finally arrived and I know you have no control over shipping time but three items from the order were missing. I'm hoping you will rectify that quickly.
