The worst experience of my life I rate them -10
June 12, 2017

I went online to see who to go to for bankruptcy. They were the first to pop up so I called and set up an appointment. Me the girl who told me the cost. I paid in payments so within 4 months I was ready to fill out my papers and file. Well that's when they stopped calling. Once they had their payments I wasn't important. Finally a girl called and said we'll need 6 months of bank statement. 6 months of paystubs. No problem. After she received everything she said I would be getting a packet in the mail and once that is filled out send it back and they can file. Now we are into it about 7 months. This is when the headaches started. I sent it in and she said within 30 days I will be getting a phone call for a meeting with a paralegal. 3 days went by 60 days went by and I called and called and called and called They would pick up or the secretary told me they weren't in or to go on line. I figured they know what the are doing. Then on day I got a call from Ashley Huddleston, evil woman, and told me I needed to resend everything I had already sent in. At this point it over a year. I said I wanted my money back that this was unexceptable. She said I take that as you don't not want represented any further and the money is unrefundable. So I decided to wait it out. I got all the papers again, by her deadline. Then again no phone call. I waited for 3 more months and kept sending in my pay stub and bank statements. I called and nothing happened. Finally in January of this year Ricardo Martinez called to set up a meeting. We went over everything and then he calls and says I need to send everything in again. The worst part of it is in the meantime I had talked to a small time attorney and he told me once I pay $1500 he will fill out my paper work and file the same week. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHOP AROUND. LOOL FOR REVIEWS LIKE THIS ON ANY ONE YOU USE. I finally am done with the bankruptcy case but from July 2015 to June 2017. That's not right. It's been so long a have a great credit score again lol. JUST BEWARE. THEY ARE HORRIBL TO DEAL WITH

Worst Customer Service
September 12, 2016

I want my money back. I have received no answers and they have done nothing. They assured us they were one of the top attorneys in Orlando, charged us $1,500 and did nothing. They told us one thing and then I got a call from an attorney from ASAPlawyers and he didn't even know the case. He sent out a letter to the person we were trying to make a claim to that was different than the first lawyers told us. Our names were misspelled on the letter. The deadline for the response to the letter was 8/15/16 and I have have heard nothing. They don't return calls, reply to emails, and often you hang on forever on the phone on hold and then it just hangs up on you.

I encourage all of you who have complaints to pursue them further. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I did and there is a reporter interested in talking with me. KEL still refused to return any of my money. The Better Business Bureau suggested I submit a complaint to the Florida Bar Association and here's the link for the PDF to do it http :// www.floridabar. Org/TFB/TFBResources. Nsf/0/AB230E7DCCC3B*******B*******BD6DC/$FILE/Inquiry%20Complaint%20Form. Pdf. I am also going to write the Attorney General and the Governor of Florida. They need to be disbarred at the very least and if enough of us complain something will have to be done. There are 99 negative complaints on here about them. Don't let this go. They are purposely stealing people's hard earned money.

Thieves go to jail for stealing money like what KEL firm does to its clients...
June 7, 2016

During the weeks after we retained KEL we began calling in and leaving messages for a call back and also emailed several times through your client portal about setting up a time to discuss my case with absolutely no calls messages letters, or any response at all. While patiently waiting with zero responses to any of our calls or messages we decided to drive to Orlando from Palm Bay to attempt to see or speak to someone directly at the KEL office in Orlando. Finally after driving to Orlando we finally had a chance to sit down and discuss my case with someone named Elsa Camacho who immediately and rudely asked why we drove to Orlando to discuss my case that could have easily been done during a teleconference. We explained we had tried several times with no return calls at all so we drove there to finally get a different answer other than someone will call you by the end of the day. We then proceeded to go over my case and the entire time we were talking with her it was clearly noticed that she had absolutely no interest in being in this meeting with me and could care less about anything I had to say about the case and pretty much rushed us out of the meeting saying she would go over everything and if there were any questions that someone would contact me.

After a couple weeks of expecting a call to go over the details I decided to call in and email the portal once again to make sure they had all the information they needed in preparation for my case. After another few weeks of leaving messages with no return calls at all just like the prior calls the were left. I finally spoke to a receptionist who I guess was tired of me calling everyday at this point trying to reach someone that she had rudely informed me that the attorney Elsa Camacho had suddenly left the firm and " Your attorney suddenly left the firm and there's nothing we can do about that sir... We can't stop them from leaving"... Shocked that she responded with an answer such as that I proceeded to ask well don't you think that you maybe should have at least notified her clients that their attorney had left and you were working to have a new attorney take over their case? Upset that I suggested a solution to nonstop calls and messages she asked me to hold and she would see what she could do. After a brief hold she informed me that a new attorney Jose would be my new attorney and he would call me by end of business day to introduce himself an discuss my case. After a couple days with no return call yet again I call in again and spoke to the same receptionist and explained that I did not receive the call from Jose as she stated was to happen days ago. This time she just says hold please and again I wait to see if I get to speak to Jose or anyone at this point. After a brief hold she returns and says Jose is on another call he has my file and promises I will definitely hear from him by the end of the day. Well of course I did not this time I'm beyond frustrated and said obviously your firm to to busy to handle my case so let's just go ahead and see about returning my retainer since nothing has even started with my case. She puts me hold and I was expecting to talk to someone about refunding my retainer but instead it was the paralegal for the Jose I had been waiting to hear from. I asked if he who I was to talk to about refunding my retainer and he said no he was the paralegal who worked with Jose and would be handling my case and asked if I would mind holding for a minute to review my case and get familiar with it and see where we are at this point. I sat on hold for maybe a total of 2 minutes tops and he gets back o the phone and goes ok looks like we are waiting for your court date to see where we go from there other than that theirs nothing we need at this time? Seriously I feel so much better knowing that you spent 2 minutes reassuring my future is going to be ok? My lively-hood and future is completely on the line for something that was not even mine and not a single person has even asked me what exactly happened that day? I said thank you but I cannot risk proceeding with all the issues I have had so close to my court dates. I would like the retainer refunded so I can find someone who can focus more on my well being so I won't have to worry about my future. He said ok and someone would call me to discuss the refund. Still waiting on that call to this day...

So today after I had someone look into my case to see what or if anything has been done I was informed that there were things that have been missed and it still has the old attorney who left the firm representing me and shes been gone for over a month. I have decided I cannot risk continue to safely rely on KEL with the incidents that have and continue to happen so I have no choice but to find another firm to represent me. Please refund the retainer so I may find a new and possible local firm with less of a work load so they can focus on my case.

I asked for a refund since they did absolutely nothing except take my money and this was the response... Weeks later I received a letter saying that my case was handled properly and I will not receive a refund...
