The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

Explained the basics of training easily, hoping it works on an overactive stubborn 3 yr old doodle.
Walking my puppy on a leash improved. Also the use of body language has helped.
The tips and suggestions they provide are very practical and easy to apply, this is a very good source of information for learning how to train your dog
I've signed up for numerous "free" webinars on dog training with promises of value. None have actually delivered anything truly useful until this. I found the K9 Institute video engaging, fun AND incredibly helpful, with training tips that were immediately transformative. Thank you for walking your talk! Highly recommend.
This workbook has been of great help. A lot of free information which is awesome and I like that you start with body language then add verbal commands. Still working my way through but this has been a great asset.
I have had a couple of years barking from my 3-year-old dachshund. Then I found this website and decided to try it. I'm glad I did. The instructions are easy to follow. My dachshund is learning new habits to replace the bad ones. So far so good
Learned a lot from professionals in free workshop. Totally support their mission. Would purchase master class but missed the savings slot.
I haven't had to do any puppy training since 2009 and this free workshop was very informative and I recognized a lot of the techniques I originally learned years ago, plus some new ones. Thank you for offering that information.
I had just brought my new puppy home when I happened upon your "free
Dog training workshop". I thoroughly enjoyed the video. I especially
Liked the operant conditioning segment that showed the four ways to
Communicate with your dog. My only problem with the workshop video was
That I wanted to scroll back and review something and I was unable to.
I have a 9 month old GSD who is in dire need of calming down and taking instruction. I have high hopes this program will give me and her the relationship we need. I am totally new to dog training and 74 years of age I need a calm dog. I have just started her training and I know that it will not be an overnight project, but this course gives me the tools and support I need to accomplish this task. Thank you for making these service dog training lessons available to all of us who need them.
The introductory free masterclass was full of great information on explaining the philosophy of K9TI training. If it wasn't for severe financial difficulties at this time I would have jumped on this immediately. Even though Bonnie exhibits a couple of these behaviors, she is the prima donna of escape artists. My biggest issue is she getting out when the front door is open. Thank you for the masterclass. I did enjoy it! Jo
Id love to use the K9 training institute. I already hired an in-person trainer for board and train so we are paying for that 1st. If the discount comes around again from K9 we will have to hop on it.
The tips that were provided in this class cut through the b. S. and achieved almost instantaneous results. Would be comfortable using these techniques with all dogs.
Loved the video. Don't like the hard sell tactics. Just want to know the best price.
My experience is very challenging but I have to stay on course
This short piece will give you the basics like eye contact, hand gestures, and assigning jobs. It helped me understand the meaning of a job to do Like going and lying down in specific place as a job...
I was think carringqomething...
This has parts I have used for years but it makes those parts more effective.
I watched only the intro and am testing 2 techniques with a strong focus on body language. When Rusty barks at outside activities he is now invited outside. He no longer has the opportunity to go on the screened in porch as that did not diminish the barking. Now, I use body language and invite him to go outside by going outside myself and closing the backdoor if he doesn't move toward the door quickly. I open the door and let him out. I may or may not stay out with him. He can bark all he wants outside. And, I'm trying the leash technique changing direction when he pulls on the leash. We practice about 10-15 minutes at most. On day 4 we were able to walk to the end of the driveway -about 70 feet. He walked at my side without tugging. He kept checking on me! Sweet. I want to master these techniques and then move to other techniques.
I loved it and its helping me training me puppy so much easier. With this book I'm learning so much.
Love this method of teaching! Working on the not jumping and greeting portion with our pup. And will try the doorbell situation as well. Very helpful :)
Very informative and helpful. I started using the no eye contact and my body motions to keep them from jumping up.
