I respect all religions and I do respect JW, but the temple on 1450 SW 24 Ave has an annoying approach that is quite upsetting by constantly sending letters that were ignored by me, till I got fed up and answered asking that to stop and still letters keep coming. That plus the behavior of some neighbors of mine that everyone used to really like and care for, who after embracing JW avoid everyone around certainly creates a very bad impression. I am not criticizing the organization, just this specific temple that is not properly representing the whole JW. I will appreciate not receiving any more letters.

I received a note in the mail from what seems to be the johovahs witness. 1. My mailing address is not set for this address but yet it's mailed to me stating "dear neighbor". I've made sure my mailing address is at my moms bc due to personal reasons I don't feel it necessary at this time to change addresses when I don't live with my bf full time. I don't feel comfortable knowing that these people seem to think I live here and furthermore find it acceptable to mail me info I never wanted. I don't care if I don't post something outside my house saying no solicitation, unacceptable. Carry on your beliefs but don't make me question how you thought I lived here, not feeling secure when I work at a financial institution so I've learned for quite some time the specifics and concerns behind keeling info secure and know for sure that all my addresses lead to my moms because it makes the most sense so how do you have my information as the main person living here? I found it true that the one's (Gov. Body, Watch Tower, etc.) accountable for the publications of the study resources have put the Bible in a different context than the original.
Basically, what I am saying is that the Bible contains ideas and concepts initiated by an Author, ie they have come (originated) from someone. However, these people (as above) have put them into a different context/format where they (ideas/concepts) are rearranged as with their origination.
They are not their concepts. And so they have no right to intervene with someone's work. It is not their responsibility to have it (Bible) articulated through them.
Besides, I'm sure the originator of the Bible (namely God) is able to get himself understood without men trying to get others to understand him.
I really am beginning to think that they (these particular men of these publications) are religious fanatics who just do not serve any purpose in doing this.
The Bible is easy to understand if you just look and get your words understood.
Also, their method (technology) of using other scriptures from different books of the Bible to give "light" on certain scriptures (verses, etc.) aren't exactly correct. For, it is only logical that the concept of a scripture has as it's meaning that only contained in that particular scripture. Why would the Author have something written in one book that you can only understand when another book is written some time ahead? That would mean that the people of that time (of that certain book) weren't able to understand certain scripture(s) in that book unless they were around long enough for the other books to come out.
Really, if that were true, then why would the Author have those certain books published at that time if they (the people) couldn't understand them?

I must say some of there teachings I agree with, because it's in the BIBLE! The rest it garbage... It's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY & CONTROL... Jehovah gives us CHOICES... THE WITNESS IS DO AS I SAY!

These people have been coming by my house practically every Saturday morning, mailing letters after being advised not to, disregarding my "No Solicitation/No Exception" signs, infringing on our privacy, and our many pleads to add us to the "Do Not Disturb" list for months now. Myself and my roommates have advised them numerous times that we're not interested and politely asked them to stop coming by because we work nights. We provided them our address multiple times to be put on the "Do not disturb" list, they always say they will pass it on and be sure they never stop by again, yet they never follow through with this request. In fact, they increased the harassment by sending letters via mail and more canvassers to my house more frequently. When I sent the mail back and advised them we were not interested in receiving their flyers by mail either, they decided to start addressing the mail to my roommates and harassing them as well. How they got our names is beyond me. I've always had a "No Soliciting" sign on my door, but they quickly and rudely advised us that, that means nothing to them because they aren't 'selling' anything. So recently I applied the sign "No Solicitation/No Exceptions." Today they chose to ring the doorbell anyway just to leave the flyer on the ground. When we answered and mentioned the "No Exceptions" sign on our door, he rudely and aggressively stated, "Look! We're doing you a favor. We're being nice!" So not only have they now been harassing us for months, but have knowingly and purposefully broken the law by illegally infringing on our privacy. We've already filed a police report and reported them to BBB amongst other agencies. This is far too aggressive and unprofessional behavior from Any business, much less a nonprofit organization. Nobody should ever be put through this ill treatment, and I'm going to see to it nobody does. Shameful

The women in this religion are repressed and depressed, the men are arrogant and often repressed, masked abusers of women and children. Men join for a sense of control and power. Most of these people mean well but wind up in vile situations with one another due to how little these people are allowed to do, due to the minimal amount of personal freedom they are allowed by their church leaders and at the risk of losing membership by being disfellowshipped for being caught breaking the rules by fellow members.
The children of these families are not safe here. This is a doomsday started by freemason Charles Taze Russel and is now being run by 7 older men in New York known as The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses who have yet to report their sex offender database to the authorities at their own expense, and are currently at risk of losing their charitable status with the United Nations due to the huge case brought to light by the Australian Royal Commission; a google search which Jehovah's Witness members are strongly warned NOT to investigate.
If you are not a Jehovah's Witness, know that these people truly believe the world is being run by Satan the devil and if you join the church and decide to leave, they will shun you and attempt to make your life miserable all the while fully believing they are doing the will of God and in the right.
