I don't know how my information got on so many websites, as I am very careful about sharing it. I'm glad that DeleteMe was able to remove it all.
We’re glad we could be of service and appreciate your 5 star review!
One stop shopping for public data removal. Automatic, hands free, order and forget program with auto-updates from company on their progress.
Thank you, we appreciate your business and value your feedback
Amazing never seen anything like this before and I just wanted to let everyone know that.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star rating – it's much appreciated!
Knowing my information is no longer being sent online is a relief! Thank you.
Thank you for your 5 star review!
-Ineffective to my needs
-Has many bot responses on different platforms recommending product (look on Facebook. Literal bot reviews)
-BBB responses are consistently non-sense responses. Saying you're working to remove things isn't the same as having the capacity to remove them.
Having the capacity to remove relies on the Data Brokers themselves so in that respect, you would be correct. We have no affiliation with these data brokers as other services may have, we follow their removal processes with the understanding that they will abide by their terms of service.
This is also the purpose for scrubbing these brokers on a quarterly basis - to insure the information we have submitted for removal has in fact been removed, and to find and remove any new listings that may have been generated since the previous round of removals.
This business is full of excuses as to why they can't get things done, if you get an answer from them at all. It's easier and less frustrating and free just to fill out opt out forms. Total waste of money.
After months of this subscription, you can still find my address, phone, all my relatives, and links to my socials just by googling my name. Totally useless. But you get these nifty reports that are like "good news! We've scrubbed you from some site no one has ever used or heard of!"
Seriously, it's useless. Don't waste your money.
First, let me say that you're not alone in your frustration. People are finding their info spread across the internet more and more these days, which is why they're turning to services like ours to help them remove it. However, we try to be very clear up front that our service focuses on data brokers and people search sites and is not a 1-stop-solution to all online privacy issues. For example on our "how we work" page we provide a specific list of sites we remove from. We are constantly working to add more, but it's not easy -- many of these sites are malicious in intent -- they change their policies frequently and do every thing they can to avoid removals.
We see ourselves as an essential part of any privacy solution -- we handle the biggest data brokers and work to keep your information from reappearing as it almost always does unless the source information is found and removed. And we pride ourselves on being a privacy "partner" with our customers, to help them through the removals of sites, whether we support them or not.
We tried to contact you on 1/9/2023 to gain a bit more insight into your complaint, unfortunately we have received no response as of this time.
Company has done a good service by keeping me informed with updates as to their actions and the numerous sites my info was removed from, but 2 months in I've still found my personal information in several locations that needs to be removed so will follow-up and request an expeditious removal of these as well.
Great idea. Badly needed in our electronic world of information. High profile active business users who need it the very most may feel a bit disappointed. Less active people early in their careers have much less baggage and life experiences and will find it adequate. Corporate senior officers need much more active attention. In my case, 14 breaches in less than one corporate quarter is not an effective or expected security result. One breach is too many. It maybe fine for much less business active adults. Successful influential leadership individuals need much more assurance that all security is fully operating without constant worry or concern. Capture that class, and their subordinates will follow in mass.
I asked for this service because I found horrible things about myself on the internet and it was affecting my ability to get a job. You have sent opt outs and that is all? No follow up. I could have done that myself.
Very simple, professional and user friendly. Very trustworthy too and they hate data brokers as much as I do. My business is no one else's business. Period. However, the process seems too slow. And the described reports that you receive are NOT frequent enough.

I admit the first year, I was very pleased. Thereafter, I had to start monitoring their removal of my personal information. ALL my personal information was back out...
I emailed to inquire and they told me I can cancel if not satisfied... I PAID IN FULL, for my family.
That's their resolution? Take your money with no service.
I want my address and phone number deleted from search sites. I can't rate the service as i just signed up.
Update from 2/26. I have received an update of sites my information was found and the process required to delete. DeleteMe is handling everything. Some sites will take several weeks to process requests. If all works out, deleteme will receive a five star review. It is still too soon to tell. I am impressed with the number of sites searched, as i did know of even half of them.
I appreciate the few sites 2-3 out of 69 for removal of my info, but I am expecting more success from you all. You still have so may sites to go. I thought your process would be much more speedy than this.
Thank you for the few.
In order to rate your service the customer needs to know exactly what you did to deserve the rating. All you say is that you found 34 cases where delete requests were made. Quite difficult to give an awesome rating for that.
Like the title says takes a while months in fact. Not sure how thorough this service is. There is a larger upfront cost than I thought at the end of the process when filling out Initial information
Hi there,
Thank you for your review!
Each data broker website has a different timeline for their opt-out and removal processes. Some websites will remove your information immediately after submitting an opt-out request, while others can take weeks to process an opt-out request and remove your personal information from their website.
Only once the original source of the information is removed will Google and other search engines naturally filter it out of search results within 3-4 weeks.
DeleteMe immediatelly started working on removals of all private information and kept informing me about new finds and removal process.
Thank you for your 5-star review and kind words about DeleteMe!
As an artist for 67 years - I & my art is published far & wide. I am hoping this content is untouchable. If so, then, so far, you seem to be doing a splendid job!
Thank you for your review! The DeleteMe service will only remove your personal information from the data broker sites. All of your art and professional info will remain, as a third party we do not have the access to remove that type of info. We like to think we keep the "good stuff".
Wasn't sure to expect at first, then I got my first report and was blow away on how many sites have my info. I'm glad I went with Deleteme
Thank you for your 5 star review...we are happy to be your partner in privacy!
Answer: Hi There, Thanks for your great question! As our privacy policy states [https://joindeleteme.com/legal/], we won't track, store, or sell your personal information to anyone, under any circumstance. Simply put, your privacy is our business. Getting it right is how our company succeeds. Without a reputation for trustworthiness, we couldn't stay in business for long. We've been in business since 2011, and we've processed over 10 Million consumer opt-outs. That said, your information is likely to reappear over time. Many activities that we engage in generate data that can then be republished. Some examples of the activities include: Registering to vote Purchasing real estate/vehicles Signing up for Utilities [Phone/cable/gas] And many more (you can find the full list at https://joindeleteme.com/help/kb/how-does-my-personal-info-get-online/)
Answer: Hi There, Unfortunately no. Social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, other accounts that you have created are not public information and are user created. This means that the creator has agreed to the terms of these sites in creating this data and therefore as a third party, we cannot remove that data.
Answer: Unfortunately, that type of content is not something that the DeleteMe service can remove from the web. DeleteMe removes personal contact information from people search sites only. You will need to contact the site in question directly for removal, they may request proof of expungement to remove the case listing.
Answer: Hi Brian, Thank you for inquiring about our DeleteMe service. Essentially, our service is set to remove personal information - names, age, addresses, DOB, phone numbers etc. from a large list of people search and data broker websites. These sites pull information from public record sources - renewing a license, buying property, getting married / divorced, etc. Since this information is taken from public records in the US, we are able to opt out of it from these specific sites https://joindeleteme.com/sites-we-remove-from/. Sites like this are not public information and are often user created. This means that the creator has agreed to the terms of these sites in creating this data and therefore as a third party, we cannot remove that data.
Thank you for your 5 star review!
