This company is a farce! They aren't truthful with their customers. They let you believe you can use the coupons they have on their app but only at times. They play games with the customers. I did an online order to pick up store that went through. A little later it gets canceled. I even went in the store to see if they had it and they did. This has happened several times. The stores are always disorganized. And no one can give you a reason why these things happen in the stores. Very poor business! Michaels is way more respected.
I would like to thank the store at 6910 S Lindbergh Blvd, St Louis, Mo 63125! They are always there to help you without any of the games that other stores play; ex: Joanns in Ballwin, Mo. I live by the Ballwin store but I will make the drive as much as possible to the Lindbergh one. When they show a number of yarn pieces in their store and you order it; that's what you get. Joanns Company's website was down and that seems to happen a lot. Especially if they're offering a good discount/ coupons etc. But Abbe was such a Angel and told me not to worry she will hook me up. This store has always went over and beyond without the game playing! So does Joanns in Washington, Mo./ 1976 Charlottes Way, Washington, Mo 63090. They are an amazing store as well with Great customer service and no games.
I purchased an oliso iron from them for someone for Christmas. The box was open when I received it. They refuse to take it back. They say it policy, because it is open. I received it open and they don't take electrical items back. If you don't take them back then you shouldn't sell it. If we receive it broken especially. This is bull crap. And I won't purchase anything else from them except their cheap fabric in store only. No more online orders.
I purchased a large order from this Joanns in Franklin, TNand was told they didn't have the people to put the merchandise out. When I picked up in store 3/4 of it was not there. I paid using another party, now I can't get a refund for items I didn't get. They do not answer their customer service number. The manager hung up on me twice because she could t figure out how to place the phone on hold. All I want is my money back for the items they did t have and no one will help! I will never ever shop Joann's online or in store ever again!
Joann underships and refuses to fulfill shipment or reimburse. Package goes by weight so if it weighs what it should they won't recompense you for missing fabric. Unprofessional to deal with.
I ordered 10 items advertised on the website and the next day I received an email stating "sorry" that NONE of the items I ordered was available and all were cancelled. What a waste of time!
I'm happy to live so close to Joann Fabrics. At least I don't have to buy subpar Walmart crap. Staff is always friendly!
I got a gift card for Christmas and it has already been used. I know the card is good but it didn't work. The manager was rude and simply said you have to call the number on the back. I called. Customer Service answered, mumbling I asked the customer service representative to speak more clearly. They looked up my card and said it had been used. I said I thought that it had to have been used fraudulently. They transferred me to a department and was on hold for a long time. Finally a message came on saying they were closed for Martin Luther King day even though today is not Martin Luther King day, please call back
Whenever I go to the store, the bathroom is never available for the public, the manager is rude, people who check you out never are helpful with coupons or the app. Many times even though I have the app and a teacher discount they say it's connected to your phone number but it does not give you the discount now my Christmas gift card does not work and there's no one to help me on the phone. What a scam. I don't even like this store because most of the stuff they sell is cheap junk way overpriced even with a sale it's not worth it.
I placed my very first order with JoAnn.com. I ordered several yards of different fabrics and accessories. I received confirmation and my card was charged. An hour later, I received an email stating my entire order, every item, was no longer available and was cancelled. I'm waiting for my card to be refunded. If not I will dispute. Never using them again.
I just shopped online for Christmas clearance. I ordered 22 different items. Hours later, I received that they had cancelled ALL of the items because they didnt have them in stock. Something is seriously wrong here. Either they need to fire their IT department or their warehouse staff. How can you simply be out of EVERYTHING? I could understand one or two, but 22 different items? I had ordered multiple of some of the items, so there were many more than 22 total items ordered, but there were 22 different items that they cancelled and stated they were "out of stock".
Either they seriously have a major inventory issue, or they have an employee not wanting to fulfill orders issue. Either way, steer clear!
I placed an order on 12/6/23 and it was cancelled on 12/23/23. This is unacceptable, these were Christmas gifts. I tried calling the customer support and was informed via an automated message that I needed to email customer support at Joann.com. I emailed customer support and never received a response. On 12/23/23 I received an email that my entire order was cancelled. Following is their response to why my order was cancelled: "I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of your entire order. The cancellation was due to an automated sourcing issue in our system, which regrettably is beyond our ability to resolve or control. To fulfill the original order, the items needed to be sourced from multiple shipping locations. However, our system automatically cancels orders once they reach a certain number of sourcing locations. Please understand that this process is fully automated and cannot be halted." What kind of antiquated ordering system do they have? Do NOT place an online order at joann.com!
The customer service is rude. They are a welp it's out of our hands have a good day and hang up the phone. They will not go out of their way for their customers. I placed a order on the app. It said it processed. Checked back and there was no history of my purchase at all or the gift card I used to purchase my products. When asked they said do you have the card number I replied no since I used the whole gift card on my purchase and threw it away. They said well that's not our problem and hung up. NEVER AGAIN WILL BE SHOPPING AT JO ANN. Hopefully they will be the next business to close. My 52$ somehow vanished and I got none of my products.
I ordered and item online for pick up on 12/26/23, the site said they had 2 in stock. A few minutes later, my order was cancelled by Joann's because it was not in stock in the first place. Called customer service of course are not taking calls, they said to go through email. I called the store they blamed it on my bank, I called my bank and they said the store was responsible for cancelling the order an issuing the refund to me. Joanne's finally responded with some emails that did not make any sense to me at all and still not offering a clear answer as to when my money will be refunded back on to my debit card. I have had orders canceled through stores before and they're always refunded to me within one or two business days. I will never shop at the store again.
Complete lack of customer service. NO working phone number for customer service - it redirects to email, which you can never get a response from and if you do it's a bland template that doesn't answer any of your questions/concerns directly.
I ordered hundreds of dollars worth of vases for my upcoming WEDDING. They cancelled 3, shipped ONE, and the rest are in "processing". But of course they've charged my card multiple times.
Went to Joann in Tucson on E Broadway.
No one would cut my fabric. Two clerks one was waiting on only other customer and apparently was new to cutting fabric. She was pulling threads to get a straight cut and taking a very long time. The other clerk was folding fabric and would not acknowledge me or offer to cut. After waiting 10 minutes I left
I ordered a sizzix switch die cutter on Dec11 online sale. Normal over $300. On sale for $167. Ordered it paid with credit card. Expected it for a Christmas gift. On Dec 28, I contacted customer service. After 2 days of waiting for an answer, they told me due to overwhelming online orders, they canceled my order. I wonder how long I would have waited if I had not inquired. I'm disappointed, and seriously I'm thinking I will never shop Joann's again. This isn't the first time this has happened. Thinking Tim Holtz knew how Joann is treating people who buy his products are treated he'd stop dealing with this so called craft company.
I have yet to receive the remainder of the order I placed in November. As many other people have stated, they no longer accept calls, so the only way you can contact them is through email. When I was able to talk with someone is customer service in mid December, the person disregarded my valid points and literally attempted to deny me the right to speak with her superior regarding the issue. I will NEVER order anything from Joann again! They refused to let me cancel my order when I asked to do so because of the huge delay, which is unheard of from a big business like theirs. I cannot see them lasting much longer. Inasmuch as I like the convenience of their brick and mortar stores, this experience with my online order and reading what everyone else's has gone through, has really embittered me towards the company as a whole.
Ordered 11/25. Noticed by December 13 still processing. They couldn't give me any idea when it would be shipped. I bought Christmas decorations, gifts, and party supplies. Nothing I could use after Christmas. Refuse to cancel. They said they don't have the ability to cancel. Really? I
N today's technological world, a business like JoAnnes doesn't have the know how to cancel an order. Now that is sad. They said I'd have to wait and return everything if it ever came. Tried to tell me I didn't read the line about 5 to 10 business days. I said yes it's been that and you haven't shipped. Finally received partial items a few days before Christmas. And lo and behold some items out of stock. Will never do business with them again. We realize everyone busy during Christmas. Seriously that was their excuse. It's Christmas and they are busy. If you cannot handle the business, don't rip your customers off. You took people's money knowing you couldn't deliver the products on time and also knowing most people won't return. This really seemed like a scam to me. You should be ashamed.
I ordered an order for Christmas ribbon to wrap my holiday gifts with in NOVEMBER the shipping was awful with part of my order received just days before Christmas and then the rest of my order was cancelled. I reached out to their customer service number multiple times without ever getting any updates to when my order would ship. I will never shop with this company ever again.
So here we are, Christmas in a few days and my order hasn't shipped yet. You can't cancel it, and don't think you're getting everything you ordered, NOPE. Things aren't available that were when I ordered. How a company can do business like this is bizarre to me. I think they are shipping from China, hence the long delivery times. Let's talk about your order coming in numerous boxes too. How do they make any money? If I need to ever order again, which I highly doubt, I will make sure I order MONTHS in advance. Answer: I feel the exact same way. They cancelled an order I placed online and they never contacted me to tell me the order was canceled. I waited three weeks for an email to come pick up an item. I could have had this item 3 weeks ago from Michaels craft store. JoAnn's sucks!
Answer: Don't order anything from Joann. Go to a flea market or Hobby Lobby who gets your order correct and treats you by the Golden Rule. Joann is terrible and I am still waiting for a refund wherein they charged my account twice for the same order. Run!
Answer: Joann online are thieves and liars. We all need to get together to file a class action lawsuit against them for charging customers twice for the same order and then shipping wrong merchandise. This isn't an innocent mistake... it is planned. The only way to stop them is via a class action lawsuit.
Answer: Depending on which Joann store take your order. The reps are so untrained and very incapable of handling a simple online order at the Menomonee Falls Wisconsin location. They will cancel your order without your knowledge and when u call, they will tell u it will be ready by the close of business. It's, not ready than and when u call back they will say, it will be ready the next day. In all reality they messed up on purpose. ONLY IN MENOMONEE FALLS WI have I always experienced this type of treatment
