Owner Chan Cheuk Fai has ties with criminal underworld.

Chan Cheuk Fai is one of the owner's of Jin Wu Koon, a martial arts academy located in the Sydney, CBD region. Anybody who is contemplating of training there needs to be aware that Cheuk Fai has been caught at the Sydney international airport, carrying large sums of what is most likely drug money on his carry on luggage, in addition to anabolic steroids being found in the possession of the people he was travelling with. All in all, Cheuk Fai was apart of a group that was found to have nearly 1 million dollars in cash on them at the airport. Subsequently after Cheuk Fai was caught, two units were raided in the suburb of Ashfield, in Sydney. Large sums of cash, methamphetamine and anabolic steroids were also found during the raid as well too.

Cheuk Fai also nearly killed a young man when he shattered a large mirror that lacerated his neck. The incident not only nearly killed the young man, but left him with enormous medical costs, psychological damage and a physical disfigurement that has hindered his quality of life. Cheuk Fai, did not apologise or offer any assistance to this young man, and in fact, bullied and coerced him when in hospital with threats if he pursued legal action.
