Trustworthy communication with IT professionals for my laptop. I highly recommend using their Premium package to maintain and clean-up technology devises. My 6-year-old Dell Inspiron laptop is still working like new thanks to their monthly assistance. Cost a little to have less headaches and quick access to support staff with a phone call and remote sessions. I'm not tech-savvy so I appreciate their assistance to maintain a computer I paid over $800 for.

I already unsubcribed and remove my credit card information and they still charged me. Previously without consent they charged also extra $20 per month for tech support. Before that i bought a time extension and i don't get any extra time. I emailed them and there was no response. The only thing that i can do is to close my CC and get a new one to avoid being charged forever! Shame on you IOLO! They are a thief company.

I am honestly very pleased with System Mechanic's optimizer. It's considerably fast-paced; scanned my files in under a minute and immediately notified me of all the files that were preventing my system from performing optimally. It's very convenient to get your PC up and running so that you can get along with your job and minimize time wastage which is often the result of a slow PC. I highly recommend this software.

I have been running low in my PC Speed of late until I gave IOLO mechanic ultimate defense system a try. It has worked wonders considering that it has shown to have real time capabilities of detecting and preventing malware from attacking my PC. This program perfectly and swiftly scans and cleans junk files and residue files. It tends to kill redundant programs and clears cache ensuring that my machine is running optimally. It is easy to use and worth of investing to anyone looking to optimize his/her PC.

I ordered System Mechanic a year ago. It was so awful I had to uninstall it. So it became a distant memory. All of a sudden I get a notice that I am about to be billed $19.95 for another year of it. So I go on online chat with one of their "representatives" and tell him in no uncertain terms to cancel. He says he will. Next thing I know, I am billed for $19.95. I try to call them on the phone, wait on hold forever. So I go to chat again, get told there's nothing he can do. Avoid this company and their garbage softward LIKE THE PLAGUE.

While the products are fairly good, I will not buy them again. I am not able to manage my account or my subscriptions online. It is extremely difficult to find the url to get to your account. If you do not want to auto renew your subscription, it is canceled and cannot be managed online. You are only able to manage your products if you are on auto-renew, and you must call their support to add or remove that function. I asked that it be canceled and my CC info removed - you cannot do that yourself online. They did not delecte my CC info and still refuse to do that. When they canceled my auto-renew, my subscriptions dissppeared from my account, and they cannot put them back. I can still use the product, but will have to jump through hoops if I need to download a new copy. I have used System Mechanic for at least 8 years, but cannot see any of my past orders. I will not buy it again.

Product never worked. Disappeared from my desktop. When I cancelled the service, the still charged me and told me, too bad. Do not trust these people with your bank account!

I used various anti-virus before I finally settled with System Mechanic. I am very much impressed with its performance. It doesn't slow down the speed of my PC and is extremely efficient. It takes just a few minutes to scan my PC for any viruses or malware, and with the help of the Optimizer, everything goes well.

Tip for consumers:
Buy System Mechanics because it is a complete package. With System mechanics research and recover, I was able to recover my accidently deleted files.

I was unable to download Apps as Windows Defender did not recognize them. After multiple hours of other tech assistance including the Software's vendor I was unable to start the app. After reaching the second tier tech help at Iolo the problem was resolved within ten minutes. Money well spent after wasting over 16 hours with others.

Tip for consumers:
They appear to have been instructed to upsell their service contracts. Purchase that which seems right for your needs. They do not oversell and are very courteous. They pulled me out of a nightmare & I am very appreciative of their services.

Spent hours on the phone with tech support to find out it was NOT toll free (when I got my phone bill). Nothing got fixed. Finally got it installed and working untill it wanted to update. Now it won't run, reinstall, or uninstall...tech support won't answer calls, emails or chat requests. Product works ok...just don't ask for help if you have a problem!

Stick with the stateside phone number rather than the toll free which ends up in India I believe.

I'm in my 70's. My first computer was a 40+ pound COMPAQ with two 5 1/4 inch floppies and no hard drive. It had a CRT with green letters, (MSDOS was the name of the game. WAY before images or Windows)! I've been building my own computers, and using all manner of software, since before hard-drives, when a megabyte was a HUGE amount of space. ("We'll NEVER run out of space on that thing!" LOL). I only say that to say this ain't my first rodeo...

I bought Iolo System Mechanic several weeks ago. It never worked as expected. I called, "Customer Support", for help in fixing it. Their idea of customer support is that you can sit on the phone, literally for hours, or you can wait even longer for a technician to call you back. I actually got one of my 'call backs' well after we had gone to bed!

When talking to them, of course none of the problems are caused by their software. By the time I finally gave up, I wound up reinstalling Windows! THEN, I received a renewal notice in my email inbox!

I called to cancel the software and any subscriptions and this is where it really went south. The "Customer Service" person actually started to argue with me! I tried to break in and told him that I simply wanted everything canceled. He kept talking. He talked over me! I got pretty exercised and eventually asked for a supervisor. Naturally there was no supervisor available, but one could call me back - - - "in THREE TO FIVE DAYS". Then I asked for a supervisor in the US. Again, not available... And on and on it went. (He kept arguing with me up until I finally hung up.)

This is among the worst software I've ever had the displeasure of encountering. It is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST "CUSTOMER SERVICE" I'VE EVER RUN INTO! CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I signed up for System Mechanic and apparently along with that you get billed 21.32 a month for technical help! A total scam and they wouldn't refund my money.

I clicked on the free one month trial and at one point it indicates the first month is free then you will be charged if the subscription is continued. I entered my card info, assuming it was for day 31 and I was instantly charged. A box pops up to call a phone number to continue with the subscription. I called and explained that I signed up for the free service and was instantly charged. Mark, the agent immediately said I did wrong and if I was getting the free service it would not have asked for a card. He was negative and wanted to almost argue. Then he asked what I wanted him to do about it. I asked for a credit, which I will not get for 7-10 days. I thought this was a legit company.

I was a bit skeptic about my friend's recommendation of Iolo's new System Mechanic Ultimate Defence since my prior experience concluded that mostly my system worked fine before downloading any kind of PC Cleanup tool. However I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised at the number of features the package offers, each tool being quite straight forward and easy-to-use. The thing I liked best was the level of detail provided by each scan result. One thing that bugged me though was that some of the tools did not have one-click fixes and needed to be corrected manually. Other than that I could not find any fault in Iolo's System Suite. Highly recommended.

Cancelled my subscription after 1 year (which I paid for) and wanted a refund since they had already billed my card for year two. Been waiting 6 weeks for the promised refund.
I disputed the charge with Citibank and they were absolutely NO HELP. After "investigating" they sent me a packet of information that belonged to someone else. They said the charge
Was my responsibility. I thought--well, I've paid for this I will try to activate for the next year.
Nope--couldn't do that either. So--bottom line--I'm out the money, I have no working software, and I also no longer have a Citicard since they would not help me out.
THIS IS A THIEF COMP"ANY---BE VERY CAREFUL!

For a Software Program that takes complete care of your computer while you use it and whenever it is left powered but unused, I did not think that it could get any better. Well IOLO have done just that so it appears, with significant performance and new problem solving features in their new version 21.3. I have been using System Mechanic, now System Mechanic Ultimate Defense, for more than 10 years and so it seems that IOLO are continuing the established tradition of continuously improving their amazing product each year. I will continue to use System Mechanic Ultimate Defense on all my family computers, an additional bonus that comes at no extra charge!

Many thanks to the IOLO Team for for such a great product.

I have been an IOLO customer for years, and always renew my service because your great support continues to improve. Great customer service. Your technical features are great!
I am an American who retired in Germany, and only know the basics about computers, but have learned a lot from IOLO. Thank goodness I have a flat rate for calling a US number, but for those outside the US, the cost of contacting them is only the 1st call of any session, because they can call you back at their expense. Top customer technical computer service at a very reasonable price!

Tip for consumers:
Write a list of questions before contacting them so you do not forget anything.

Bought a System Mechanic Pro disc to fix some issues I was having with my computer. The disc wouldn't load so I called their tech support number. All they wanted to do was sell me a service for $100 to fix the problem. I told them that I didn't want to pay $100 to make the software I had just spent $40 on work and I wanted a refund. That was March 19th. It took me until April 6th to get them to respond. At that point they wanted a copy of my receipt which I faxed to them. It took several days for them to acknowledge they received it and then several more days to finally send me the return instructions and authorization number. I sent the item back, it took them a week after they received it to acknowledge that fact (I have the delivery receipt from the shipper). Bottom line is today is May 5th and I still have no idea if or when I will see my money back which will be less the tax I paid for the item and the shipping charges..

Just amazing Software ever. I was using 360 total security for my PC, but my best friend Ali told me about IOLO mechanic ultimate defense. I was not believing. He get my trust and convinced me to try. Amazing system defense ever in the internet technology. Highly recommended.

I no longer have access to assistance from an I T person as I did when I was employed. Therefore, the Premium Service offered by this company and the System Mechanic has been very useful to me on my home computer. With System Mechanic, I can see that my computer is functioning efficiently. In addition, when I required assistance, their techs were able to log onto my computer and correct problems with my computer and when necessary they took time to answer my questions so that I could avoid other problems.

Iolo Technology has a yearly maintenance service which is second to NONE!
They have techs that know how to fix most problems that accrue on computers. You already purchased the service so they are not trying to sell you something, they are there to FIX it. Excellent service and reasonable price. A bargain.

I bought this software few days back and to be honest, It delivered what it stated. This Antivirus keeps the track of malicious item and clean junk files as well. It is one time purchase, So there is no need to worry about more. I have used this program few days back and trust me it is like a doctor to my hard drive. It solved all the Issues in a single click. The UI is simple and it also keeps hard drive safe from junk files. Update This customer service of this company is not up to mark, it takes a lot of time to them to respond to my questions. Hope they fix this

I found both of these products to be excellent both in terms of what they do and how much they cost. But when I installed the 2nd one--MyCleanID--my computer slowed down. So I chatted with USTECHSUPPORT online and after identifying myself, describing the problem and waiting for a techie nearly 2 hours to call me and get on my computer, he found the problem, fixed it, and my computer was restored to how it performed before the problem, which means my computer is going fast like it used to!

Don't be afraid to call or use chat, as I did, for help.
