This is based upon a 2014 experience. I thank the land lord for opening up a unit for me. I enjoyed it for 4 months then it became hell. I will never do another apartment in my life unless I have no other choices. I only found about 5% of the neighbors decent people. I lived here for a year and these apartments were run down, old, out of time, paper thin walls, ant issues, mold issues, neighbor issues. And all the problems that these things bring. I filed one formal noise complaint against my upstairs neighbor after 10 days of zero sleep. The land lord made me the hated neighbor for all 8 of my neighbors. I told her exactly who and she alienated all 8 of my neighbors. Thank you for that one. Next thing I know the down stairs neighbor started telling false lies about me to her kids. All lies. Spread rumors of how I was a "bad" individual. Yea thanks $#*!. I thought you were christian. You never knew me personally before the noise complaint. Hush up those lies before I sue you for defaming and slander. I'm a hard worker decent individual with high morals and values. Appliances kept breaking down and needing repair. Paid extra for a washer/dryer unit and it was broken 5 weeks. Yea coin laundry again. I loved setting a whole day aside for that. Apartments were noisy from the traffic. Do not rely on this place for day sleeping. (Won't happen.) Walls are paper thin and you'll hear everything from the fart in the bathroom to the murmur of the conversation in a neighboring unit. You'll occasionally wake up to hear your neighbors screaming at each other in the middle of the night. Smells seep through the walls and the smell contaminates your stuff. During the hot summer months no one sleeps. The units pretty much become a sauna and you hear people stumbling around their units unable to sleep due to the heat. They do yard work at 2 am and it's unsettling hearing a lawn mower going off at that hour or people raking up leaves at that hour. The land lord had the sign up be back at x hour for most of the summer and the for long hours through out the year. She was maybe out of the office 45% of the time. My unit had an and issue and I had to submit a formal complaint. All they did was spray the outside with ant poison. All that did was send it inside and make it worse. Before I realized it I couldn't use my kitchen sink, couldn't use the bath tub for baths and was shaking ants out of things in the medicine cabinet. As my neighbors noise issues became worse I was only using the unit to sleep and shower. I spent my day at work. Then found parks and malls to hang out at until they closed. Friends if they weren't busy. Around month 6 I was sleeping on my friend's couches to get a decent night sleep. I moved out completely into a house purchase on month 7. I decided it was cheaper to pay month to month rather than cancel it. Then terminate the lease. (I originally took this down but this place literally scared me in some way.)

This apartment complex is one to avoid. Considering the high rent their requesting I'm surprised their not tailoring their needs to that income class. I'm really unimpressed with this complex. Disappointed actually. The landlord are professional and I would not rate them as any thing special. Overall it is "functional" and nothing more. It's a roof over your head with a tiny kitchen, bedroom, washer/dryer, stove, refrigerator, and a standard bathroom. All items are heavily worn and only have a slap-stick fix if broken. For a 30+ year old complex, I was expecting better. It's like stepping back in time only with the age and problems to deal with. I honestly do not feel comfortable living here and I left at month 6 of my contract. Kept it vacant for four months and still had complaints filled against me. She knew they were lies once I told her I had not been living there for five months. This experience was around 2016.

I did not have a pleasant living experience here. I was on early bird start with my employment and I barely got any sleep here. I all too often had one of my neighbors blaring their tv loudly at 10 pm or doing laundry until 1 am. Keeping in mind I went to bed by about 7 pm. They slammed their doors so hard they caused several glass trinkets to break and wall fixtures to fall off and break. You could ear everything to the person farting in the toilet upstairs to smelling the dog food in the kitchen. You become the sh*it neighbor really fast if you file a complaint against one neighbor. I filed a complaint because after a month of no sleep I was constantly crying and the doctor suggested a noise complaint. Some how all your neighbors will be drug into it. I filed it because I was becoming sleep deprived and I wasn't able to be my self. Each time I did something above background level noise they got irate with me unprofessionally. The lady down stairs told her children lies about how I was a bad person and should be avoided all together. Then the rumor started spreading around units. Christianly: I don't think so. I tried to be quiet as a mouse after but they started to be total as*s holes to me after words. It didn't matter what I did to live peacefully. They were just as*s holes. Total retaliation for just trying to have a good night sleep. After month 6 I think I spent more time out and about and only came back to sleep. If that. I think I recall crashing on a friend's couch a lot. I think I moved out on month 8 of my 12 month contract. I figured it would be cheaper than breaking lease.

The building I resided in had an ant issue. Every time they sprayed the parameter they just entered the building instead of staying out side. She rented us an ant infested unit without a discount. Ignored the visible ant issue upon pre inspection with us. The prior owner was such a pig she created the issue and the land lord never cleaned it up. By month six or eight I was shaking ants out of my tooth brush and having them crawl around in my shower. The most she suggested me to do was draw a chalk line around the areas I was seeing them in. That didn't work. I just got some extra strength poison they took to the queen and that rid me of the issue. She took all the credit though.

Garbage cans are over flowing and clients are too lazy to lift the lids. This attracts pests and squirrels are wild animals but clients treat them like friendly pets and feed them.

Maintenance is a bit of an issue as they did a slap stick fix to cheap appliances that frequently break down. My washer dryer broke and I had to smell moldy water for four days before they fixed it and finished my laundry in the bath tub.

Several of these buildings have mold issues. Lucky mine were in a dark corner so I could just paint over them as the maintance individual chose to deny the issue and just move on.

I've not had the best experience living in my unit. I'm not surprised this unit keeps opening up on the market. The neighbor above is a total a*ss hole and the neighbor down stairs is a lying gossiper.

I've tried all the work with your neighbor bull but here you do not have choice of your neighbor.

As a single woman I would not recommend living here. They do yard work at 1 in the morning and you'll hear workers chatting out side your window. I had packages frequently stolen and I did not once feel safe living here. Not once. I had weapons hidden in literally every room. Do not live here. You'll regret it.
