Holmes Creek Pugs

I had a very similar situation happened. My daughter was looking at pugs we asked if we can see it then he decided to say yes but he needs a deposit and he was in LA. It was super sketchy and if you try to call the number it won't even let you speak to anyone. This whole website needs to be taken down and to be reported I just don't know how to do that. Do not give this man any money at all.

I messaged to express interest in adopting a pug from the breeder on this site. Someone, who called himself "Brian," text me almost immediately. He claimed to be the owner of Holmes Creek Pugs. I asked for his breeder registration information and asked about his breeding practices to make sure they were ethical. He told me he wasn't comfortable giving out "personal information," but assured me that he was registered and that I had nothing to worry about. I let him know I wasn't comfortable sending $900 to someone online with no way of verifying the legitimacy of the business. I then asked if he could send me more pictures of the pug I was interested in with a current newspaper/ some other way to provide he just took it. He then told me that he required a deposit before giving out more information, so I let him know I wasn't interested in purchasing a puppy from him. (See detailed text conversation below)

Sadly, I've come across many sketchy sites like this while searching for a pug to adopt so I thought I should start leaving reviews to help others from getting scammed.
