I strongly advise against using Holafly if you're planning a long trip or care about decent customer support.
I purchased around €800 worth of eSIMs (7 cards in total) for a trip of 11 months. Holafly's sales team knew this, as I made the purchase through their chat. They never warned me that eSIMs expire 90 days after purchase — even if not activated. That means they sold me products they knew I wouldn't be able to use. No one said: "Buy them every 3 months so they don't expire."
When some of my cards expired before I could use them, I contacted support. I was told my refund (ticket #*******) would be processed in 5–10 business days. That was April 21st. It's now mid-June, and nothing has happened. I followed up via email, website chat, and WhatsApp — and all I got were copy-paste bot replies from different names (Emma, Ruchell, Tania, JM, etc.), all saying the exact same thing: "Please wait. We're escalating your case."
After weeks of this, I was even blocked on WhatsApp — I no longer receive any replies there.
Not even threatening to go public with my story triggered an actual human reply.
Holafly failed to deliver a working product, misled me during the sales process, and is now ignoring my refund entirely. This is unethical, unprofessional, and unacceptable.
If you're considering Holafly, be warned: you're on your own if anything goes wrong.

Paid for eSIM (Order #E*******) before my trip. I bought an eSIM from Holafly expecting instant service — as they promise. But after payment, I didn't receive anything. No QR code, no real support.
I was left without internet in a foreign country for a full day, relying on bots and empty apologies. I sent multiple messages demanding a refund. Only after 24 hours, and after I told them I no longer wanted the product, they suddenly sent the QR code — too late.
At that point, I had already purchased eSIM service from another provider, which activated instantly and professionally. Holafly ignored my refund requests, stalled, and even tried to pretend they didn't recognize my email — despite sending spam, surveys, and finally the QR code to it. To this day, they have not refunded my money. I paid for something I didn't use and didn't need by the time they responded. This is unacceptable. Their service is misleading, their "support" is non-existent, and their business model is deceptive. I will post this experience everywhere possible to warn others. Never again.
