I subscribed for $49 but found out I had to buy extra credits to enhance a video, which otherwise would have taken 24 hours to run. I tried again later and it said I had to upgrade to VIP at $79 a month. Meanwhile my extra credits for which I paid $10 disappeared. I think the basic subscription gets you nothing and the home page is so confusing you don't know what to do.

This company is a scam!... they hid the fact that I signed up for their editior program in fine print... Also the features I signed up for they 'modified' to be AI based using tokens AFTER payment. REAL class act.

DONT USE THEM THEY ARE FRAUD and will scam you.

OH and if you do sign up - you will love how much they WANT you to stay.

I swear these people place should be prison. They offered me a free trial and when I took it they charged me 115 dollars. I begged for them for a refund or low fees and they stopped responding

Here is what happened to me, so you can avoid the same fate: The Bait: I made a one-time purchase of a Hitpaw product. Unbeknownst to me, this purchase automatically enrolled me in a "FREE TRIAL" for another product called "Vikpea" through a pre-checked bundle. I did not actively sign up for this. The Trap: After 7 days, without any clear warning, Hitpaw charged my card $43 USD for a full Vikpea subscription. I never used Vikpea and never intended to subscribe. The Runaround: When I demanded a refund for this unauthorized charge, their support team blamed ME, saying I "forgot to cancel" a subscription I never knowingly started. They completely ignored the fact that their sign-up process is a deceptive "dark pattern." The Insult: After pressing them, they offered me a 50% refund—essentially admitting the charge was questionable but still trying to steal $21.50 from me. This is not a compromise; it's an admission of a scam. BEWARE: Their official "refund policy" states they do not refund automatic subscriptions, which is their entire business model. They have built a system designed to take your money without clear consent. I am now forced to file a chargeback with my bank and report them to the FTC. Save yourself the immense hassle and anger. AVOID HITPAW AT ALL COSTS. There are reputable software companies out there; this is not one of them.

I purchased a "perpetual license" from HitPaw's official website for €193.59, believing it offered lifetime access to all AI features. It turns out the license only includes a limited number of credits (800), and further use requires additional purchases. This was not clearly stated during the purchase. Although I am well within the 30-day money-back period and have only used a small portion, HitPaw refuses to issue a refund. Instead, they keep pushing me to accept an exchange I never asked for. I cannot recommend this company. There is a lack of transparency and poor customer service. I am considering further action through my bank and consumer authorities.

Customer service is INVALUABLE, they offer a 1-week full access to their software. And I'm impressed with the product.

I needed to remove a watermark from a video I'd previously created and decided to try their product. Unfortunately, there seems to be a glitch because I uploaded my video and clicked on the edit button but the gears kept turning and NOTHING happened after an hour of waiting. I tried the process two more times before giving up and contacting customer support to ask for a refund. First - they take FOREVER to respond. Second - their stance was immediately defensive and they kept telling me that their product works fine. WEEKS later, after several attempts to get a refund, they are now asking me to send them some kind of log so they can assess the issue. They should have asked me for this when I first wrote and now that so much time has gone by, I do not have access to their product anymore and I'm not about to go through the entire process again. This has been a huge waste of my time, a huge headache, and I would never use a product from a company that a) provides horrible customer support and b) doesn't stand behind their product 100%. A $35 refund should be a no-brainer for a reputable company. These people are awful.

I purchased Hitpaw Fotorpea with advertised 30% discount code, order was processed without opportunity to submit the code. Reached out to Hitpaw and they said pretty much it's my fault. No refund. Then without warning, I get notice that I'm about to be billed for the Video enhancer, which I never use. Crazy... Sorry, I even visited their website.

I am trying to cancel my subscription but hitpaw makes it impossible! I tried to do it manually but their system would not recognise my order. Number, the number which is in my invoice. I kept running in circles for an hour trying all ways to cancel my monthly subscription but they wouldn't let me do it. And there is. No email to contact, just. One of those forms that. Nobody ever replies to.

They are totally ignorning my refund request after I declined a lifetime subscription to satisfy me. I found a daily limitation in background removal (99 images a day) that was not discoverable in the trial version and was not advertised. This doesn't fit my workflow and I asked for a refund. They offered a lifetime subscription which I declined and they have not returned emails since.
Avoid this company.

It's a great program for editing pictures and removing the background, did not find a better program for what i need, for what i use it more than good enough and not so complex as photoshop or other programs

Easy to use, it has solved many problems with unclear images, and there is also a useful old photo restoration that has helped me achieve good performance in my work.

I took a quick look at how to operate it, and found that thanks to the easy-to-understand interface, I was able to use it without reading any instructions, making it a very easy-to-use piece of software.

I purchased the Watermark Remover and it kept leaving a terrible blur where text was suppose to be removed. In addition, the loading time is incredibly long, no reason to be so long to load. I was unsatisfied with the glitch software and the company did not honor their 30 day refund policy as they advertised.

I have been using HitPAW for 2 years now, and I can honestly say I have only had a great experience thus far💪🏽 it has great functionality and just works!
