When I think Hickory Farm I think quality. But it's actually overpriced low quality. Very unsatisfied with my order.
I order a gift box to be sent to my son in Michigan. Some how the order was F. U. B. A. R. FedEx notify me it was on the way to me in Florida.
I cancelled and will never order again.
On December 30th I purchased 4 items for around $80, a great deal with their sale going on. Same day I got a message saying it's shipped out, supposed to be here in a few days. Shipping date kept getting pushed back. Weeks later I emailed support and they said nothing they can do. Another few weeks and they tell me that they oversold and will refund me. Why allow me to purchase items, say they've been shipped, then tell me they're sold out?
I purchased a gift basket to ship to my parents in Georgia. It was sent to the wrong address. Hickory farms was going to make this right by sending it again for free, great thank you, only to resend it to the wrong address again. They told me to call, me I had to call, fed ex to try to intervene. I Called fed ex and they said it's on the truck no problem they would contact the driver. An hour and a half later delivered to the wrong address again. Wth. This gift was ordered December 12th and to date my parents never received their gift. Oh but a neighbor is mighty happy with 2 gifts. And they are dishonest people who excepted not one but two gifts they WERE NOT entitled to.
I was working at hickory farms this year, I have worked 2 prior seasons. This years experience was a whole different experience than previous years. The manager Kristin in the beginning was nice but as the days went by she started to knit pick everything I did. If I stocked the shelves she would go behind me and straighten the items I stocked. She was aware that I was not able to download the when I work app. I was scheduled for Monday December 20th I saw the email after the shift was missed. I texted Kristin and apologized for not showing up for work. I was sitting with my beloved dog as she was dying. I explained to her the reason I was not at work. Kristin never attempted to answer my message and at the same time removed me from the schedule for the rest of the season. I have never been fired from any job I worked or have ever had to be disaplined. She was the manager but acted as if hickory farms belonged to her personally. When the second location was opened in October she told customer to go to the new location for sweet and sour sauce but she had every bit of it bagged up and waiting for people to come pick it up. We had very irate customers come in like she told them to only to be told that it was already sold out. What kind of customer service is that? You may have lost regular customer because of the way she deceived them. I know that I will never work again for your company. Maybe she needs to be trained as to what she can and cannot do
I use Hickory Farms every year to send packages to family in other states. I like to call my order in & have been met with friendly, helpful customer service every time. This year I had the privilege of choosing packages that came with perks! Free shipping & handling! But the best perk was the choices came with a charitable contribution from Hickory Farms for each purchase! WOW! What an incredible idea for Christmas Giving! All my packages arrived without incident & delighted my family recipients who always love receiving them. Thank you Hickory Farms! And Merry Christmas to all your fabulous & friendly Customer Service Representatives that I've had an experience with.
I spent $200.00 plus dollars for samples. I am so pi**** off. I sent this to family for Christmas what a joke. I will never waist money on Hickory Farms again so deceiving
There is no email address or on line support. Calling was a waste of my time. The first representative I talked to could not answer any of my question and then left me on hold for 20 min so I hung up. After calling back and getting to another person I thought my issue was resolved. She told me I would receive an email today which I did. It was the total opposite of what she told me. Its an awful company if something goes wrong with your order. Will never use them again.

Ordered 2 Christmas gifts from hickory farms. Found out that only one was delivered. Call to find out the other one was out of stock so will order replacement and was told they will no longer give us the holiday promo of half off second gift. 1. Was out of stock ok that happens. 2 didn't notify us so we can reorder in time 3. Would not compensate for there mistake. 3 strikes and your out. Bait and switch.
Packaging is inviting. That's it. I guess I've eaten too many high end cheese, crackers and sausage over the years. I have no idea why people find this appealing? Seriously! These products taste terrible,
I got a gift from my daughter and let me tell you it was down right uneatable, The summer sausage was so greasy you good hardly see brown meat all white tossed it ion the garbage. Next the crackers, so stall and salty, tossed them in the garbage. Should I try the cheese?
On November 25, I placed an order for 5 gift baskets to be delivered on December 17. Two of the baskets were delivered on December 17 and one on December 18. I had not heard about the remaining 2 being delivered, so I called Customer Service to check on the status. I was told that they were out of stock on those items. I asked what I could get that could be delivered by Christmas and was told that the deadline for ordering for Christmas had passed (keep in mind the order was placed in November!). The "Customer Service" representative said that all he could offer was to refund my $80 (Duh!). Needless to say, I will not be ordering from Hickory Farms ever again!
Placed very large order for my clients on phone Dec 14 with delivery for Dec 22. The item was in stock otherwise order wouldn't be taken. They called me Dec 21 to inform me out of stock and cancel order. Asked how this could happen just got sorry you will receive credit. I know why... Incompetent management that will hide behind covid... no excuse for not informing earlier it's all computerized! Will never do business with these people again! Jim M
Charged my bank account fees for two gift baskets that were not shipped to me. 10 days until notified that one product was not available company has not refunded my 70 plus dollars no human contact automated phone message have not spoken with any human hickory farms at one time was my go to company for gift baskets will never use again contacted my bank to reverse charges for rip off
I ordered a company gift from Hickory Farm on the 11th. It was supposed to ship maximum by the 15th of December. When it did not ship, I called and inquired. The customer service reps made all kinds of excuses and said there were delays in shipping. How can that be when the item did not even ship yet? I escalated to a supervisor. The supervisor called back and said they were sold out and would refund my money. Seriously?! I asked for an equivalent item but they are apparently sold out of everything. Do not trust this company with your business. Leaving people in such a predicament during the holidays is simply unacceptable.
Ordering online from Hickory Farms has been an absolute nightmare. I ordered 3 cheese balls and 3 summer sausage. They send me 3 blocks of jalapeno cheese. When I call they tell me a "specialist" will need to call me back. No one ever calls me back. I call again, wait on hold forever, again, and then am told that I will get a refund within 72 hours. No refund after 5 days. I call back. The next woman accuses me of having received what I ordered and finally says she will "look into it". This was 3 days ago. Still no refund and still no cheese balls or sausage. I am very disappointed and will never do business with Hickory Farms again.
Says they have special FREE freight but on line orders will not apply special. I called them and they said orders had to be under $200.00 BUT still would not apply Free Freight

I rcvd. A Hickory Farms Christmas gift which I wished to return. It was unopened. I went to return it the day after Christmas, and was told 'no returns after Dec. 24th'. In other words, no returns, period. What a gimmick! It's the principal of the thing. They profess to their customer service being a priority, but that's obviously untrue. They're just there to make a buck. And their customer service at their website was no help at all. Hickory Farms, I know you're big-name, but this is one customer you've lost.
Answer: They are year round. I have ordered several times, and am on their email list. They have been running special promotions and discounts on their Easter baskets.
