Bait-and-switch is a form of fraud. First, customers are "baited" by merchants' advertising products or services at a low price, but when customers visit the store, they discover that the advertised goods are not available, or the customers are pressured by salespeople to consider similar, but higher-priced items ("switching").
I purchased a home protection kit directly from their website, ( a few cheap temperature/humidity sensors and door sensors), they charged the order on the card, and then I waited almost a month for the package to arrive. There were some good deals on Amazon on home security that I missed since I was still waiting on kangaroo to deliver; when I ask them why the package was not shipped yet, they told me they changed the prices of their kits and they no longer could sell me the package I purchased, gave me a refund and I would have to purchase one more expensive and that I could use a coupon for discount.
