Fitted quite snugly, I have a large head and hair too. If it could be made larger, with adjustable pulls inside, like the cotton bucket hats, it would be even better. That's why I gave 4 stars, not 5.But I am very pleased with it.Covered completely, brim gives attractive frame. I like brims, as I am troubled with dazzle. Quick delivery, I live in the UK. I haven't tried washing it yet, but it looks simple. I wish you made more ghats in larger sizes.

First off they sent a dark brown extension instead of blond. Second, they sent the wrong style extension. Then they only wanted to refund minus 20% stocking fee. Wow what an incompetent company! We just took the refund and went elsewhere after two phone calls got us nowhere. The young girl they Have answering the phone doesn't know what is going on and just repeats the same bs. I ordered from Headcovers Unlimited. I ordered 7 caps. Two of them came properly packaged in plastic with a card, tissue, and silica pack. The other 5 were just put in the bag. They were returned items. I contacted them and they REFUSED to pay the return shipping to return the items that had been worn! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DOES NOT EXIST! Buy from TLC Direct instead. You will receive NEW items every time!

This company is a nightmare to deal with. The topper they shipped to me was not the same shade as the photo of the model. I sent it back for a refund and they refused to refund my money and said there was ink on the inside of the topper. That was impossible because the item was never worn or even taken out of the netting. They literally lied in order to keep my money. The topper that came was a medium brown, my hair is light blonde. They are sending it back to me and are keeping my $$. I have no use for a brown topper that doesn't match my hair. This item was $344.00 and useless to me yet I'm required to pay for it.

Rec'd product with damage. May return but must pay shipping UNLESS I exchange it. Be careful with whom you do business..

I bought 2 hats from Headcovers.com. One was okay--not great. I have a normal-sized head but didn't cover my ears as advertized. The second was advertized as cream but was actually white. I never would have purchased a white hat. They refused to pay for the return shipping much less reimburse me for the shipping I had already paid. I wrote an honest 1-star review that they didn't print. Then I wrote a second one for the site that they didn't publish either. That is illegal according to the FTC.

Tip for consumers:
Get your headcovers from a company who guarantees satisfaction and accurate descriptions and will pay the return shipping if product not as described.

I purchased a hair guard and a swim cap, followed instructions for hair guard! The hair guard did not protect my hair... my hair was completely soaked, and in addition, I got swimmers ear.
Customer service was not responsive!
A real disappointment!

When I received my order, I took the wig out of the box and it looked like a fright wig, perfect for Halloween. I immediately put it back into the box without even trying it on. I tried to return it, but it was sent back to me saying it was damaged. If, in fact, it was damaged, it happened before I even got it and I wouldn't have noticed it because I didn't even try it on. They refused to accept my return so I am stuck with his horrible product and the cost of it. What a disgrace. Do nOT ever order from this company!

I ordered 3 hats from Headcovers and they accidentally sent the wrong hats. I returned the hats and they refunded me the costs of the hats but not the shipping. I paid the shipping to receive the hats and return the hats. I am out 30 dollars for their mistake. Very unacceptable!

I just put 1 star but it really deserves no stars terrible, clear part shows looks like a bad Halloween Costume. I spoke with Michelle & she would not return them or give me my money back & if I shipped them back it is on my dime & they may not exchange them & I would have to pay for the return shipping. How do you stay in business isn't the customer right. I will never order anything again also got terrible mascara could not return. Save your money

I received their hair topper yesterday. Took out of box SHINY! Does not look real.
Never even put on my head, now I am sending it back and they are charging me a 20% restocking fee. Most unprofessional company I have ever ordered from!

The absolute worst company I've ever purchased anything from. The wig was sent back July 5th and I am still waiting for my replacement wig. It's July 31st. Apparently, they purchase their wigs from other companies, and when there's a return it has to go back to their vendor for approval. This means us, the consumer, have to wait for their vendor to approve the return on a purchase that was made between me and Headcovers, not me and their vendor. That's like me buying a loaf of bread, returning it to the grocery store, only to have the grocery store tell me they have to get the approval from the baker.

For the past several conversations I've had with Headcovers, I've been told that they didn't know what was delaying the return. Now that I'm putting pressure on them, they've come back to say the wig had makeup on it and an odor to it. I NEVER wore the wig! Apparently, if they feel under pressure, they think it's best to insult the customer.

I've purchased many wigs, and I've never been treated this way before. Actually, I've never been treated/insulted by anyone else I've purchased anything from in all of my life.

Unfortunately, I'm at their mercy because I used a store credit. So I have no recourse but to wait for them to send me my replacement wig. I will be contacting the Attorney General and the BBB, to file a complaint.

In the future, I will stick to the wig companies I've happily dealt with in the past.

I hope my review saves at least one person from going through what I've had to deal with.

Be careful ordering from this company because it may say it is in stock but in fact it may take 3 weeks to get but they will take your overnight money and keep it and if you want to return something they say 10 days but on the web page it does not state that and they refuse to accept your return and then if you luck up and return something they will not give you your money back they keep in as a store credit! This must be how they make a profit by keeping peoples money as a store credit - Beware!

If you order a wig from this online company, and you want to exchange or return it, you will be charged a 25% restocking fee. I liked the wig I ordered, but it wasn't the color shown on the website - so, they charged me $30.00, plus shipping to return it - and the fee would have been the same, had I wanted to exchange it.

So, just be very sure of size and color before doing business with headcovers.com!

Headcovers Unlimited website states FULL REFUND IF NOT SATISFIED although that is not true... I ordered 4 hats from this company, 2 fit and 2 were so small they wouldn't have fit a dolls head. I called to ask if they had a free exchange policy like qvc and so many other online retailers. I was told they did not and I'd have to pay for return shipping myself but that I would receive a full refund. I tracked my return and although they had already received the hats back I had to call them again regarding my refund. Instead of issuing a full refund as stated on their website, they took out and additional $7 for shipping on top of the $6 i had already paid to return these poorly made items! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told by two different reps that this is their policy and nothing could be done!
So, to recap... Headcovers Unlimited sells poorly made items, lies to their customers, does not issue a full refund, falsely advertises and has the worst "customer service" i've ever experienced!
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY!

SW-400-BLW Blue/white and SW-400-3770 Ocean Splash retro petal flower swim caps look like old stock compared with others we ordered. White petals are dirty yellow with stains. We have photos to provide. Hats feel stiff, not comfortable to wear! We want to get refund USD19.99x2=USD39.98 back into my credit card because it is too troublesome to send back and forth from Australia. Compared quality and service I ordered in 2012, this experience is unhappy! Please reconfirm I will have refund for these two faulty swim caps.

The website said I could have it next week on Tuesday or this week on Thursday. The difference cost about five dollars, so I paid the extra and made plans to wear it on the weekend. When I receive ZERO NEWS about any effort to ship it, I called and was assured twice, by a a person who was also reading the stated policy, that I would have it thursday. Finally, I demanded a tracking number and discovered it was not coming by fed ex ground, but rather ups ground. It was coming from the west coast. I pointed out the physical impossibility of four day delivery by road and asked for a refund of my five dollars. I got the wig on the next week Tuesday night. They kept their precious five bucks. I do like the wig, but wont be ordering from them again.

I have breast cancer I saw that that was a breast cancer site I ordered a wig when I rechecked I ordered it in the wrong size so I immediately called them and upgraded the size they took out for the first wig that was the wrong size and send it to me and then they deducted from my account for the second wig and charged more of which I never received calling them this morning they said oh it's been refunded it takes a couple days but it was in there at one time and they took it back out I have never ever had such a problem with the site that uses the words breast cancer do not order from these people

I am a cancer patient. I ordered a wig and needed it for an event later in the week. I paid for express overnight shipping, and was guaranteed delivery the day before my event. I was at home all day on the promised day, and no delivery. My husband was also home and I have dogs that will bark like crazy if anyone comes on our property. In tears, I tried calling but they were closed. I wrote them an email regarding the non-delivery, and received a reply the next day that basically said it was attempted on the promised day but no one was there to sign and a note was left on the door. I did not receive a note on my door! I was not home on subsequent attempts at delivery because of doctors appointments and other commitments. The wig was returned to the shipper because of this. That was fine with me because I no longer needed it for my event.

I contacted Headcovers to get my refund back on the wig and the shipping because it was not delivered on time. They basically said that it wasn't their fault and I had to contact FedEx to get a refund. I contacted FedEx and they said that they couldn't refund anything to me but could refund Headcovers and they could refund it to me. I questioned FedEx about the first attempt that Headcovers said was done, and they couldn't explain why a note was not left on the door either. On the phone, FedEx said that maybe it was attempted at the wrong address, but they still wouldn't help. So now I am out the shipping cost, and also Headcovers is charging their restocking fee despite that I never received it and it never left the box. They were completely unsympathetic and difficult. I would never recommend them or FedEx for that matter.!

I received my knit hat, I was disappointed, both the hat and the shipping is highly overpriced, I saw the exaxt same hat in a local shop and it was much cheaper, had I know this was the exact hat, I would have never paid what Head Covers charges for the hat.

I Ordered Fake Eye Brows. Not Cheap! When they arrived I could see that they were way to light in Color for me so I didn't even open the Plastic Package. I put everything back in the box & returned them the next day. When I inquired about my refund I was told they had sent the package back to me because the Eye Brows had been worn,, I NEVER even opened the package! Now I'm out $61.93. Chemo Ladies BEWARE!
