I have been playing Happy Bid Day for a while and I like it except this new way I would rather have one item to bid on because now you have five or more bidding on different items I hope they go back to the other way it is much easier to play.it is true but if your watch your web site it is the same bidder all the time and who can afford two bids at a time if you calculate the bids and the cost you can buy the item on ebay or amazon. I have been on happy bids da for close to 2-3 years but I am backing off because it is getting two expensive for the way you have it set up someone is reselling this for a lot of money/ sorry for the negative response but it was more fun to bid on one item at a time. The you know what you are getting
I loved quibids so much I thought I would give this one a try. Don't waste your time on it. They give good discount for bid packs and have good opportunities to get free bid packs, but that's what makes it bad because everyone has so many bids at all times and it takes forever for an auction to get over. That's the only case they would have so many going at once is because they never end. They add bids into the prizes so they canaje it a higher retail. Value and peak interest and that's crap. The worst thing is that they have a cap on most items so people won't ever stop bidding and the item can look like a good deal. That's not how penny auctions work. This site is just terrible. And that's putting it lightly.
This website is pretty cool. I got free bids when I joined and was able to win 2 auctions without having to buy bids. Not only did I win an auction for a gift card, but I got more bids because they came with the card.
You can win, but watch what you're doing. Some people just spend and spend just to win. Then they get mad when they've spent more than they think they should have. I have won, and it is really fun. Just don't go crazy chasing the win.
I have been a loyal customer since 2011 and have won more products than I can count. All their products are brand new and were delivered quickly. I had a few hiccups throughout the years and they always got back to me quickly and resolved the issue to my satisfaction.
I came across happy bid day when I was laid up with a running injury. I became a little obsessed with auction bidding and winning products. It's a bit of a rush when you beat everyone and win an auction! At first I was bidding on auctions with bid packs as the prizes so I didn't have to purchase a bunch of bids at first, while I was learning how it works. I think even when my foot is recovered, I will come back to bid. Especially because they even have "free to bid" auctions where you don't have to buy bids to participate. Cool concept.
I'm always skeptical but I had a friend who showed me the site first. Use your rookie auction wins. You get 25 before you get blocked from the rookie section.
Very prompt in win deliveries. Nice variety of products. Excellent autobidder... can enter start price, amount of bids, and end price. A feature I really appreciate since the bidder has control. Auctions almost continuous throughout the day. Free bidding on bidpacks, which are limited to two daily. Very fair. Only downside is a fee for each auction win for delivery/processing and a foreign fee if US resident. But still one of my favorites.
After trying Quibids for a while, I thought it was time to branch out on to other Penny Auctions. I did some googling and realized there's not too many reputable ones out there and decided upon Happy Bid Day. So far I am loving their site. They have a special sections for newbies like me that lets you feel out their site before getting into any super intense competitions.
I kept reading about these free bids that they offered for the auctions with the smiley faces, but when I signed up I never got any. Turns out they made a change and some of the older reviews are pretty out of date. Now I guess they don't do free bids they just let you bid on the smiley face auctions by clicking the button. I read these had win limits too though so they're not unlimited or anything.
I have already won a half oz silver coin and a amazon gift card. I can't wait to win more things from here!
I've been using HBD for months now with a fairly high success rate. They recently changed the look of their homepage which I really like. Its much more user friendly. I only have one complaint and that is that I wish they'd put the ended date and time on their closed auctions. 5 stars all the way though!
This is the only bid site you can find the bidder keep going 48-96 hours non stop just for one item. Also they keep going almost to the item retail price or more then the retail price which is really funny. Strongly recommend for Canadian not to go for this site as you have to pay a huge amount for shipping.
I love a good deal and winning while shopping. So many great products and I just love that I got my ninja blender for $7. You can either find me crocheting on the couch or bidding at happybidday. I love it.
I enjoy this auction site. They have a choose one product which allows me to pick from a variety of products if I win the auction. Also, I love the fact I can get bid packages at a discount.
Signed up today with the small bid package thought I was getting special unlimited bids until you win your first auction,,, turns out that one and ONLY package doesn't get the "bottomless Bid" special (read fine print)... so I contacted support. They said "we understand your frustration" but too bad (would have gladly paid the difference to the next package). I told them this was a scam and deceitful and would report them to BBB. Support then told me I was dishonest, refunded my money and banned me from the site... UnhappyBidDay
I've never used a penny auction before, but after hearing how a friend was able to win a bunch of things on one I knew I had to give it a try. I spent probably a week or two googling reviews and checking out different sites. I decided I'd spend my money at happybidday.com first. I joined, bought a bid package with UNLIMITED BIDS and won an auction that same afternoon! I can't wait to get my pizza maker and will update as soon as I receive it.
HappyBidDay is one of the few penny auctions that I use regularly. I've managed to save quite a bit of money, shipping is always on time and customer service is fine.
Penny auctions have a bad rep in general but HBD is good in my book.
I love the items that are for auction. I hope to become a long and successful member. Bids are very reasonably priced. Look forward to the future here.
I can't believe their bids are so cheap. And not just for a new customer or one special sale a year. They are constantly running special deals, giving free bids, and their bids are always cheaper than Beezid or Dealdash every time I compare.
Don't trust these sites. They are all scams. You pay money to bid even if you don't win the item. The website tells you others are bidding, and that someone else won, but you really don't know. I lost money off of one of these sites. Don't trust them.
I love happybid! The auctions have a ton of products and stuff to choose from. And I love that they have contests on facebook where you can enter for free to win money. They do it all the time. It's pretty cool.
HappyBidDay has a rating of 3.4 stars from 181 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with HappyBidDay most frequently mention penny auctions, auction sites and customer service. HappyBidDay ranks 4th among Penny Auction sites.
Hi Waid,
We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with HappyBidDay. I took the time to review your correspondence with our Customer Support Representative in regard to the situation you have explained in your review. As it was explained to you, the bid package you purchased did not include the Bottomless Bids Guarantee as this bid package did not contain the icon specified at the top of the page. We specifically avoid any fine print to prevent this confusion during the time of purchase. Also, a message was displayed to you prior to check out confirming your purchase for a bid package which did not contain the Guarantee which allowed you the option to alter your selection for a different bid package which you chose not to do. In your messages, you repeatedly accused our company of being a scam, which it is not. In an effort to rectify the situation since you expressed your extreme unhappiness with your purchase, we agreed to refund you your bid pack purchase. At this time, you were removed from our website due to your unrelenting false accusations. If you have any further questions, you can contact us at support@happybidday.com.
