Hanamasa is a pretty typical, chain type restaurant with many locations in Jakarta. Here on Bali we are very lucky to have a location and I am lucky because it is a short taxi ride away from my home.
The theme here is Japanese Do It Yourself dining. First, you brew a tasty soup with added veggies and meats, right at your table in a large cauldron. Following that you can dine on various meats to be grilled, once again at your table. The quality of the food seems above average. They also have a walk up option where you can get prawn tempura ad have a variety of sausages and other Japanese concoctions grilled for you and delivered to the table.
Drinks and desserts are included in the current price of about $16 per meal. It is all you can eat so come early with an empty stomach and stay for hours enjoying the great array of offerings.
