“A Bummer/ Poor Business”

Rebecca B.
7/1/17

I signed up with Gorilla Med instead of Med Reps because of the huge difference in price. Unfortunately, the decision did not wind up panning out for me and instead of investing my money, or even getting a refund, I'm just out over $110. I signed up for the 6 month recruiter package and immediately began searching resumes. I found a scant few resumes that had been posted this year/2017, and most of them were from the beginning of the year. I searched over 8 different states and the results were all the same: basically none. The next day I emailed the contact email provided by the website, explaining that Gorilla Med wasn't going to work for me and asking for a refund. I did get a really fast response, which was awesome, and the customer service representative was pretty generic in her response- what exactly was I searching because there were over 50 recent resumes on the home page and explaining that Gorilla Med was exclusive to medical sales (which is exactly what I'm looking for). I more or less responded by reiterating my original email, and that I hadn't even had my membership for a full 48 hours and would appreciate a refund. I never heard back. A couple days later I tried emailing the company again, and haven't heard back to that email either, over a week later. It just sucks to deal with a company that doesn't really care about whether or not I'm satisfied with my membership, or even about giving me the time of day. I obviously should have avoided this site based on the fact that there was no trial membership, or money-back guarantee, but I guess that's what I get for going the "cheap" route. On the other hand, one of the other girls in my recruiting firm has made close to $20,000 the past couple months because of all the candidates she found on Med Reps. Clearly, her $600 investment paid off.
