I entered into an agreement to have construction work done on my home kitchen and gave this company Global home improvement $8000. 00 as a deposit to do the job which was estimated as $10,000.00. A few months later my wife developed a terminal illness... we desperately needed our deposit back to handle medical expenses. We were told that we were called and notices sent that we will forfeit our deposit soon if work does not begin soon, we never got any phone calls or notices. We are being told we will not get any part of our deposit. I asked for proof that the notices were sent out, and they could not provide anything to me.
