I had a very bad experience with GiftCash. I submitted a Walmart gift card with a full $500 balance. GiftCash's own system verified the balance and even sent me an email confirming "Balance $500 | Offer $440 | Order Accepted."

After I uploaded the card, the balance suddenly dropped to $0, even though I never used it. GiftCash then cancelled my order saying the card had "zero balance," which completely contradicts the first email where they confirmed the full amount. Their chatbot also told me it's "normal" for the balance to drop during verification, but then they blamed Walmart for the $0 balance. None of their explanations made sense.

I contacted support multiple times, but they kept repeating the same message and told me to contact Walmart. Walmart told me the opposite — that this issue needs to be handled by GiftCash because they were the ones verifying and processing the card.

I now have full documentation of everything: the original $500 confirmation, the cancellation email, the chat messages, and the screenshots. I've already filed complaints because this situation is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would warn others to be very careful.

5-15 days is ridiculous. In the " pending phase" for too long! Waste of time!

THEY ARE THEIFS AND SCAMMERS. I PUT A BLOOMINGDALES GIFT CARD FOR 183.00 dollars, they take the balance off the card right away, then you never hear from them, there is no customer service, no helpful answers, when u do email them, only responses that are very short and made to keep you wasting your time even thinking you are ever going to get anything. YOUR NOT, and I should have read the reviews first. They know people forget to read reviews, Especially if they r selling their gift cards. Usually means your in desperate need of cash, which makes it even worse.

I sold a Best Buy store credit/gift card valued at $627 to giftcash.com for $544 on five weeks ago and their "customer service representative" told me their payout team is still working on it as of today. That is an absurd wait time. The vibes are totally off and at this point, I'm convinced I'll never get the money that was promised me. I can only inform others about this ridiculous experience so they can avoid what I went through.

Avoid at ALL Costs

I sold a gift card to Gift Cash on 2/4/24 and they promptly removed the money from the gift card. Since then the order has been simply in processing. I have emailed customer service as well as texting them, which is pretty odd but I digress, and got zero response from either line of communication. Sadly my only recourse at this point in time is to just end up filing a complaint everywhere possible. It seemed like they used to respond to BBB complaints but I don't believe that is the case anymore. Avoid this company. I don't know why it's so hard to find a gift card company like years ago but Gift Cash is not it.

Hello,
My name is Shelby Gale. My order confirmation number is GA-1D6A3-*******. It was placed on Sunday, January 7th, 2024, at 3:15 A.M. It has been 27 business days since my order was placed. I have emailed and texted multiple times. The few responses I have received have been vague, stating when an update on my order is known, I will be notified. Would I not at least receive some form of communication to ensure me that the order is still processing/pending? Unfortunately, that was not the case. I am confused as to why I stopped receiving responses. Why have I had to reach out so many times to be met with absolutely nothing? I have checked the balance on the card that I submitted, and the balance was completely wiped to $0.00 as of February 2nd, 2024. Just now, I have finally received an email after sending yet another complaint. I am now being told they are now "having issues with ACH payouts..." and that, yet again, they are, "unable to provide a specific date for when payout will be released..."
I would be understanding about that, if I wasn't given the excuse that they were, "experiencing technical delays due to restrictions from the retailer..." that information was given 13 business days ago. I have never dealt with a company with such an outstanding lack of professionalism or customer service. This is my first and absolute last time using this site. I hope everyone who is considering using this business STEARS CLEAR. Unless, of course, you would like to be stolen from and left in the dark about where your money or gift cards have gone- because that is what this experience is beginning to look like for me.

The seem to respond when complaints are made on BBB. The last one was in 2021 but I filed one today and will see how it turns out. This site is horrible and would never suggest for anyone to use. I honestly hope they go out of business

My experience with GiftCash.com has been disappointing. They failed to pay me within their specified timeframe, and the customer service was unhelpful, providing minimal information during the 5-15 day waiting period & only telling me it's with billing still after the 15 days… & This lack of reliability and communication makes it hard to recommend their services or have confidence in using them. We've been doing loops & it all just feels like a big scam.

Payouts are extremely slow. I have a few orders submitted since last month and they will not be paying out till end of November or December. They are constantly paying out people slow. They use up cards and then say sorry we can not process it and do not pay. Very bad customer service. You call the customer service desk up you will only get a scripted textbook answer. The chat service and phone is nothing but a joke.

I will not be providing my reference number as I want this message to anonymous. They will basically write the same scripted answer back and be like we value all customer concerns well and love to solve them. NO THEY DO NOT. I have been emailing back and forth with dedicated managers at Gift cash and all I get is we are having issues paying people out. DO NOT SELL GIFT CARDS TO THEM. You might get your money after you beg for it.

Big SCAM. DO NOT USE

I sold them a $150 home depot gift card and a $450 home depot gift card. I waited over 15 days and the orders still says pending. Then they will tell you they are having issues with the Retailer. They will tell the same thing to every person. They will drain your card then tell you they didnt do it. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.

Slow But Successful

The system to sell cards was very easy to use.

I sold a Home Depot e-gift card to them and before I had accepted the offer it was very easy to tell what I would receive, what the fees would be, and what my cash out method would be.

The process is definitely slow, so if you are trying to get instant cash then this may not be the best site to use. To give you an idea, my gift card was sold on September 11th, the offer was fully accepted September 27th, and I received the money in my bank account through the ACH transfer method on September 28th, exactly 17 days after I initiated the sale.

On September 25th I contacted their support through chat to ask for an update since it had been a while and they were instantly responsive and let me know about the status of the card I was selling.

While slow, the process was smooth. Easy, and completed successfully, so I would definitely recommend this site.

Submitted a gift card on September 7th, it's now Sept 26th AND still no payment received. They said it would be 10-15 BUSINESS days apparently however their site never initially said BUSINESS days on what planet does any payment ever need that long to process.!? DO NOT USE

Order GA-3E159-*******. Decided to sell a Home Depot gift card through the company 10 days ago because of all the promises I saw on various websites about 48 hour payouts and quick turn around times. It's currently been 10 days and they just keep telling me I have to wait for their "processes" to finish. I don't think I'll see my money any time soon, if I see it at all. I truly feel like I'm being scammed and won't ever receive my funds.

I agreed to sell 3 gift cards to them with a total value of $75 with the understanding they would pay $65 for them within 2 business days. They took the $ off the cards but never issued payment when I questioned them a week later they say payment takes 10-15 business days even tho their website says 48 hours and u can't even talk to an actual person will never do business with them again
