“Leaking roof of my camper..”

Matthew R.

Excellent product... I live in Florida where it rains slot. I have been living in a camper since my home was destroyed by a Cat 5 Hurricane... The roof of the camper leaked when it rained. I was in Dollar General and spotted a can of Mr. Swift's flex seal and thought why not... I sprayed the entire top of the camper with it and waited for the next storm...When it it hit, it was ferocious! But not a single leak in my little camper... EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

I am a self sufficient small farm guy. Last night i got my sprayer out from a winter storage that was heated. I proceeded to to put a herbicide and water mix in the tank when I noticed fluid running out the end. After accessing found the seam had split about 7" worth. I looked for my flex seal tape but was out. I then remembered I had flex seal caulking so took the Chance that it would hold and not waste more product. It saved the day and I just wanted to say thank you for a product that I feel lives to its name! I also used flex seal tape after welding two connex containers together two years ago and still no leaks. Thanks again

I used Flexseal on the entire wooden roof of my home-made camper. I brushed it on out of a can which meant that it went on a little thicker than with a spray, and after installing my solar panels on the roof, I repainted Flexseal around all the screw tops and around the bottoms of the brackets. Next, I ran the cord from the panels through the roof to the solar generator inside, and then on the outside I gobbed some Flexseal around the cord and it's hole in the roof until I was satisfied it was sealed. That was a couple of years ago. I've never had a leak in the roof, where the screws are attached to the roof, or where the cord goes through the roof, and I live in an area that gets a lot of regular rain. Just checked the roof for the first time to see how it looked now after all this time and it looks just like the day I painted it. All I can say is those of you who are having difficulty might not be using the product as directed, or are not using sufficient amounts. Sometimes we scimp to save time and money. This camper is not the first time I've used this product. I've been using it on my tiny house builds since 2012 and have never had a problem. It's an amazing product.

Tip for consumers:
Don't skimp on this product. Use as much as it takes and follow directions.

I had a flat roof sunroom addition added to my home over a decade ago. Everything was great for several years, then the roof started leaking. I had three different roofing contractors over a period of 5 years come to solve the leaking. I spent thousands of dollars with the different contractors. I always thought the problem was the fact that the flat roof was installed under the main roof and it was not done correctly. I had seen the advertisements for the flex seal spray. I watched the product line grow and continue to use buckets to catch the leaking. I live in central Florida. The leaking would always start after heavy rains. After my frustration reached its peak I finally went up on the roof to see if what I thought was true. Prior to going on the roof I had decided I would try the flex seal products. My inspection revealed tiny slits in the roofing seals. I also own a 2013 forty-five foot RV and was familiar with flat roof problems. After seeing for myself the issue I went out to purchase flex seal products. I purchase the tape, spray and roll sealant spending around $90 total. I cleaned the roof so I could see the small slits. I applied the spray and noticed that is would seep into the slits and then reopen. I continued to use the spray until the seeping stopped. I then applied the tape like a patch making sure all air bubbles were removed. Finally I applied the roll-on flex seal making sure the edges around the patch were covered. The roof covering was white so I use the white roll-on to finish the job. I took my time making the final application look professional. No more leaking since my DIY repair. I will use a $100 solution over a multiple thousand dollar repair anytime. The products worked for me when correctly applied.

I was surprised how well it holds-you are crazy NOT to buy this product-thank you -and so much for the companies that WOULDN`T HELP-it save us a lot of cash!

Verified purchase

I've been using two Flex Seal products on different projects around my house for over a year. I used it on PVC pipe { in a craw space under the floor} under kitchen sink that was a few centimeters shy of connecting to where it needed to be. I couldn't believe it actually worked! It 's been one year and it hasn't leaked. There wasn't space to just add pipe and I don't have extra money to pay a Plumber. I re attached the end of a gutter on my house { i cut it off because I was going to remove the whole thing but changed my mind after it poured rain for a day. Long story.} with Flex Seal liquid in a can. Still can't believe it's up there for a year now too! I like the Flex Shot in a can the best though. I have a small can of it and I've used it at least 4 different times. I never been able to do that with any other similar product because they dry up and ya can't use it. I've had this Flex Shot for a { you guessed it!} for year now and it works just as great as it did the day I bought it. I keep it in my house and not my garage so it doesn't get cold in the can. Awesome product!

We live on the lower half of a hill with a creek in the front of our house. We used flex seal spray on the outside and inside of the baseboards around our house. Flex seal kept water from entering into our house lastnight when there were flash flood warning and raining really bad. This was the 1st out of 4 times our house finally did not flood inside. Amazing stuff yall. Recommend to my mother in law for her to use in her down stairs area where water gets in as well.

Hey people I bought the 3 lb. can and am totally satisfied! Easy to apply, easy to clean up myself and my tools. Sealed around my stove pipes which were previously leaking and it worked, it did what was described. Now we will test it over time and see if we get a leak in the future. So far your product gets ten stars!

Tip for consumers:
Always read directions before using!

I live on the Jersey shore and have an elevator. When it rains, the elevator pit fills up and there is an automatic switch that send the elevator to the 3rd. Floor. We can not use the elevator until we pump out the pit.
I used Flex Seal and Flex Spray on the pit walls and the floor. We had a very heavy rain (12-15 hrs.), this past week. The pit was BONE DRY... You have a GREAT product.
PS. I bought your product from Amazon and do not have a proof of purchase. Frank J Provenzano- *******@aol.com

I rolled it on the top of my enclosed trailer and it stopped all the leaks. The spray wasn't so good but the canned stuff is the truth.
