On March 27,2025, I prepaid for a car rental with Garenta. I arrived on time with all required documents and a valid credit card with sufficient funds. Despite this, I was denied the car, and they didn't even attempt to block the deposit. The reason? My Findex score – an internal credit rating system that should not even apply to foreign citizens who are not residents of Turkey. Nowhere in the booking terms was it clearly stated that a "low" score would result in no car and no refund. I was left without a vehicle, without my money, and missed an important business meeting. My complaints to the company were completely ignored – zero follow-up, zero responsibility. Finally: 0 service, 100% loss. I strongly do not recommend this company. Save your money and your nerves – choose a more reliable provider.
