“Sunny Anderson”

I love the kitchen. I also think Sonny Anderson is so annoying I have actually considered just not watching it anymore. Has she never learned to just pass the plate to the next person instead of plowing and before everyone else or instead of anybody else because there will be three people down the line that haven't even been passed a plate if she happened to have gotten her hands on it first.

Unfortunately, FoodNetwork has disappointed me so much that I can no longer watch their shows without feeling disappointed. Previously, this channel was a source of inspiration and joy for me, but now it has become an empty shell of its former bright self. Shows that once brought joy are now filled with arrogance and carelessness. It seems that FoodNetwork has forgotten what made them so appealing to viewers.

I love The Kitchen!, but lately why does Sunny have to be so loud, over powering, obnoxious, and down right annoying? Watching the look on the other chef's faces, I know they feel the same! I used to love watching her cook, telling her stories of growing up, etc., she was very relatable….what has happened?
Today May 20,2023 I actually turned the volume off to finish watching the show!

Hello! I watch the cooking shows for new & exciting cooking and baking ideas. Though what I've seen and noticed is that not one person of a brown or different ethnic background has won an actual final or main heat in the cooking competitions. Whatever the excuse is the results do not out way the final wins. And after watching the cooking competitions it seems to be that only certain taste buds do not win or out due or out way the outcome that has been going on. A lot of favoritism with certain cultures has been noted and noticed. Just thought It would be nice to send an actual seriously noticed on the judges and poorly wins of a certain nationality, when there is so many other ethnicity's & cultures that deserved to Win in the finals. Also, there is no way that sipping on a lil water will allow anyone to quickly taste all that food and sweets and be able to judge that quickly? We need cooking ideas they bring families together just be fair like U know U should, cause your being judged too by, your viewers as well so continue to get better. And Sonny U alright stay positive & keep doing you, & U Go Girl! Thanx :)

I used to love the food network, but now, there are so many reruns and show changes especially on the weekend. Even the new shows.
Worst Cooks in America is now just ridiculous. With all their antics, when it started, it was about actual teaching. Beat Bobby Flay all reruns same with Guy's. I must admit I still watch.

I love foodnetwork however all of a sudden it's not the same. I love The Kitchen guys grocery games and most of the single chefs. I will be watching less I hate the cake wars the kids bake offs etc. most people want to see recipes that can use. Food network has become the new game show station. Let's get back to ina garden the kitchen things that are useful. I'm looking for other cooking shows now let's bring the old format back.

I used to watch the food network constantly. I understand that covid didn't help seeing that most chefs tape from their home. The pioneer woman is horrible having her children tape she acts so immature. Miss shows like Ina Nancy and I do love watching Miss Brown. Guy seems to be taking over food network he's ok however there are lots of great chefs out there. Can Food Network kick it up a notch? Would like to add some new recipes to my collection. Thanks

It used to be a great network. Now it's all Guy Feri. He's OK but, there are a lot of other shows they could air.

I don't think Food Network is paying attention to what they're viewers want. Bring back Stanley Tucci's show in Italy! It has nearly a 5-star review and it was canceled! Take off one of Guy Fierri's many shows that we're sick to death of to make room and bring Stanley's show back!

I love to watch the shows but BBQ Brawl's host is so Gay he makes me turn off the program. I am not anti Gay, but this guy is totally distracting and makes me sick. Too bad for your sponsors.

She needs to go. She is absolutely annoying and the least knowledgeable one on there. How is she even still there? I can't stand her dainty stirring anymore or her stupid comments and. Orgasm like responses to stupid recipes

I like the competition shows - in a, turn them on and not be distressed that I missed the ending, kind of way. What I don't like is the practiced snobbery. I understand that these are chefs that cook with high end ingredients; but, the average American cannot afford fresh Ahi tuna, ribeye steak, and truffles. Some of the judges turn their noses up when a contestant uses canned tomatoes, like it's a sin against culinary holiness. (The drama effect for the show) Yet, 211.5 million people in America used canned tomatoes last year, and over 710 million cans of tuna were purchased! Question. Why not give us cooking shows that we (the average American) can use? The competitions are fun to watch in moderation; but, most of us watch the Food Network to give us ideas for actual in home cooking. I like the Kitchen for that reason. I've gotten good ideas from them. And, I really don't understand all the negative hoopla about Sunny. I think the Kitchen is supposed to be a little like your kitchen at home - you know, when someone comes in and samples the food before it's done, people all talking at once, kids underfoot, etc. Don't even try to convince me that none of you have talked with food in your mouth at family gatherings! So, unless I'm confused, and the average American woman wears a cocktail dress with her cleavage on display, while her husband properly monitors in his suit and tie during dinner preparation; the Kitchen is more realistic. So what if Jeff acts like a kid in a candy shop, or Sunny talks with food in her mouth, or Katie grabs for food first, or Geoffrey is a bit stoic, or they interrupt each other; it's rather like being in a normal kitchen with family. Kitchen's at home are the most boisterous, busy, and well used room in the house. I enjoy most of the shows on the Food Network. When I get weary of them, it's as simple as picking up the remote and changing the channel to something that holds more interest for me at the moment. While reading the reviews, I wondered why some people have to be so condescending and hateful in them? I agree that showing an excessive amount of skin on a cooking show is distasteful, that politics has no place on the Food Network, that the reruns are excessive, and that it is more about competition than cooking. But, why is it so bothersome that Martha did wrong in the past? Haven't we all? She paid the price that the justice system passed out to her, and is going on with her life in a ladylike fashion. If you don't like Alex for some reason, that's fine. I'm sure not everyone in the world likes you or me either; but, to throw her weight into a review is not informative or helpful. Despite your dislike of her, she is a beautiful woman who has earned her place on the network. Yes, Ann is judgemental about the worst cooks; but, isn't the premise of the show that the worst cooks in America, who's food is inedible, go on to cook food she is proud of them for? We all have personality dislikes; but, unless you expect the whole world to be a clone of yourself, this should not be a legitimate concern in a review. If you want the network to be more about cooking and less about drama, than stop giving emotionally distraught reviews that feed the fire of needed drama, and start giving constructive criticism that the network can work with.

Love her recipies!. Loved her show she used to have onto... I taped and made lots of her recipies. But in the kitchen. She has changed... her language is gang like, her dressing and manners when she eats is off the charts... does not blend with other show host, she is a great cook, and maybe going thru some hard personal times, maybe a intervention to help her is is order... my hubby won't watch the kitchen any more due to how she eats...! I hope she stays and goes back to how she used to be!

So very disappointing. The judging should have been the same for all 3 rounds- same judges, not an extra judge added for the final round. Its just not right.
I think Alton did David in. I am not even going to watch the next one.

Fieri, Flay, Giada onscreen ad nauseum. The Kitchen - eliminate Jeff (goofball) and Sunny (boisterous, uncouth, and greedy). Stop the FAWNING over GZ. (If he chops celery, it's the most perfectly chopped they have ever seen.). Some of the recipes are pedestrian. Valued most are tips, recipes from Ina, Rachael, Damaris, Bobby (on his show, not competing). Sadly reality shows taken over. Please listen to viewers.

I love the show chopped but one of the major issues or areas of opportunities is their lack of diverse representation. From the staff to the actual chef participants, there's never enough representation. This lack of representation, specially black and people of color from a judging perspective allows for judging biases that prevent potential chefs from winning. Prime example, I just watched an episode where Martha Stewart was a guest judge and there was an Asian chef who prepared a curry dish with lamb and was voted off because her dish was "too spicy". To be honest, I think there needs a variety of judges representing various cultures and communities because their version of spicy levels could have been very different than the original judges just based off of cultural differences. Moral to the story, chopped would be even better to watch if they actually had judges from the black and brown communities and I know there's representation out there, there just needs to be a proactive effort to find them.

I use to love watching this channel in the evening all the time! Now, the only good nights are Tues, Wed, and Thurs. The rest are useless. A weekend of Diners, Drive- Ins, and whatever are for the birds!

I am a Food Network lover, and The Kitchen is the show I most look forward to, with the exception of Sunny! I find her annoying! From her ridiculous make-up to her eating... Why does the network not see this? She's too outspoken, NOT funny and obnoxious.
If you want to keep the show alive, please replace her... or viewers like me will drift off.

I love watching actual cooking now all you do for the most part is competition. Some of those shows are good but others are just too much.
What happened to Ina and Giada?
Not watching much any longer,.

What happened to, you know, actual cooking? Showing people how to make stuff. I used to like Worst Cooks, but it's now a hyper-jangly-loud-not-funny mashup of stupidity. Not entertaining so much as OVER PRODUCED. Just calm down. Also, how many Chopped can one watch in a week? So tired of dumb competitions. Talk to us. Show interesting things about, you know, food. Cooking. Cooking tools. Real stuff. Stop the noise! Stop trying to be entertaining. I'd really like to like this network again.

I am so tired of seeing the same shows featuring the same chef Guy. Is he the only chef in America? I am sure if you gave other chefs a chance, they could do just as well. Your channel is so boring, showing the same thing for hours. Gosh! Why?

We watch this show with the remote in hand. Whenever we can mute the frankly stupid comments made by both Jeff Mauro and Sunny Anderson we do. Mauro portrays himself as a flighty teenager and Anderson is a jive talking troll. Wish you'd dump these two wastes of screen time.

We really enjoy watching the Kitchen but why is Sunny the main one to do most of the talking, tasting, interviewing guests, etc? Is she funding the shows now? She is so loud and rude talking over others. And please keep the camera off of her when she eats. She has to taste and stick her fingers in whatever is prepared on the show. No one is as smart as she is for she is always correcting people. Jeff is loud also but at least he has better manners. Please let the others on the show have equal time as Sunny.

I have loved this chanel since it started but lately it's repeating line up of fieri and flay is a bore. I love those guys but they are not jaw and order. I'm sticking with chopped and some cake competitions but they can use some more cooking shows with the new winners I stead of repeats of guy fieri. Stop using the new winners as only judges on the next competition. Don't over do your platform... a loyal watcher. Would like to see yours of restaurants or inventive programming already

She pretends to do things that would take anyone normal 128 hours per day, in her pretend life with her pretend ranch hands. And wears makeup that makes we wonder if she has to gile down her horns each morning. I abhor her show.
