FoodNetwork Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.

How did this arrogant snarky *itch get into the happy food network chefs orbit?! She's annoying and has no business being around happy nice people.

Food network
October 12, 2020

Food network should never have a (thief) Martha Stewart on their show. Google Martha Stewart if you have forgotten what she went to jail for. Sorry I can't watch this.

I love watching all episodes and what make me feel sick is most of chiefs are with hair flying all over.Man dosn't have covered the beard. I hope the is no hair in the food. This is not beauty show so all chief's supposed where hair and beard protection.

Beat Bobby Flay
October 2, 2020

This show has got to be fixed with Bobby winning 98.5% of the time, plus it gets boring with him winning all the time. They are not bringing in novice chefs and cooking their signature dishes where they are experts just to lose. And low and behold, Bobby wins each and every time. Plus I believe the judges know which Bobby's dish is since he likes spicy using the same peppers over and over. Guys, get creative and come up with a new show, not something where you know the winners before show even starts.

Sunny Anderson
September 28, 2020

Tell Giada the put some clothes on. Really not interested in her boobs (or fake smile). Sunny Anderson is over the top with her LOUD changing voice, poor manners, and obnoxious choice of clothes and makeup. Have stopped watching. Get the word out and make some changes as so many have asked for.

More diversity pleaseeee
September 23, 2020

Food network is greatly lacking in minority representation. Where are the Asian and African American chefs? Why are the dishes steeped in solely Italian culture and white-washed southern culture. The appreciation of food and culinary arts entails diversity, and it is time Food Network recognize that.

Everyday I check out food network channel and there is the same thing on for HOURS! Why can't this network get new shows? Old shows of the same show are not very interesting!

Amy Schumer show
August 18, 2020

The show is a horrible miss, I wouldn't care because I can choose not to watch it, but the endless awful commercials make it impossible to escape.

I am so tired of seeing the same shows featuring the same chef Guy. Is he the only chef in America? I am sure if you gave other chefs a chance, they could do just as well. Your channel is so boring, showing the same thing for hours. Gosh! Why?

Judge Alex
August 10, 2020

Judge Alex needs a serious attitude adjustment. She thinks she is the best chef around. She's ignorant not to mention a bad dresser! Her show at the supermarket is the worse ever! Why don't you give her and Guy the pink slip. Guy is always on. Tired of his stupid humor.

Adverts
August 3, 2020

I would watch more often but the advertisements go on for sooo long! Some of the individual adverts must think that the people watching are stupid and forgetful as they repeat the same thing over and over again. I try to watch occasionally if I can time it right, but as soon as the ads come on I turn over. Shorten the ads to 3 normal length ones and I'm in!

Watching Giada cooking at home and she has her cat running around the counter while she is preparing food. So nasty. This has happened twice that I know of. 7/25/00

Pioneer Woman
July 19, 2020

I love the Food Network show, have watched it for years... but one of my favorite "The Pioneer Woman" is AWFUL since her children are doing the recording. Their recording is fine, it's just Rae is acting so silly and making meals is awful. I watch for her cooking skills and recipes, not her acting stupid and just careless handing the food! Soooo many mistakes and she just laughs. I stopped watching... it's sad.

She pretends to do things that would take anyone normal 128 hours per day, in her pretend life with her pretend ranch hands. And wears makeup that makes we wonder if she has to gile down her horns each morning. I abhor her show.

I have watched this network since it started, but Amy Schumers politically charged show doesn't belong here. It was the one safe haven from politics.

In a since-deleted Sunday tweet, Henson wrote, "I hope Barron gets to spend today with whoever his dad is." How would your child feel you low life for a comment made like that! This shows how ignorant, rude and how deceived you are! Well this network just lost allot of people, we are now boycotting your station and your websites! Unless this person is fired! Yes fired! He doesn't deserve to be in public and on a cooking show that is now in politics? Wow, how low can your people go!

When will people on TV and Hollywood get over themselves and realize that when they act like idiots that they will lose about half of their audience? In other words, your audience does not care what you may think about anything going on in the world except for things that directly affect food or cooking. We do not watch to get your opinion on anything else least of which is politics.

Each person's politics are their own business and they should never be talked down to or assume that we want or need your opinion. To assume that any host is smarter or more informed than the average person is totally ludicrous.

Specifically, now, I am absolutely outraged over the tweet that John(?) Henson sent regarding Barron Trump. So disgusting a tweet, and reprehensible. This is a prime example of the cultural problem that we are currently dealing with. Total lack of respect by most people on tv for people who think differently and have different beliefs and morals. I. E.-if you don't like or agree with someone, then they are evil corrupt slime, and deplorable. They think that we have to be told what to think.

Bottom line, I will have to rethink if I will be watching Food Network in the future, as I have to respect the people on any program that I am watching.

Hopefully, you understand the impact of your decisions.

They allow the host to verbally attack a 14 year old son of President Trump, what has Baron done to anyone. I will never watch or condone this despicable action. Terrible host and terrible network to allow this.

Enough is enough, when President Trump was elected the smarmy "elite" tossed out the rule book but When some 3rd rate "comedian" and host of a 4th rate cooking show disrespects the 14 year old son of my President that's just too damn much, I am calling for a total boycott of all advertisers until heads roll and the president of food network goes on every news network and offers a heartfelt apology and the host in question is fired.

We all LOVED her on her own show - now she seems angry and bored on the The Kitchen - what's going on?
Don't watch it any longer! Maybe not a vocational certainty for her going forward.
Still like her - just not on that show.
