By joining FlexJobs, I was able to find a 100% work from home position as a Marketing Manager in the US for a global tech company headquartered in Belgium. It has been a wonderful experience and the perfect match for my expertise. Without FlexJobs, there's no way I would have found this opportunity on my own. I highly recommend paying the minimal subscription cost if you are serious about finding legitimate flexible positions - many with benefits!
Great service, really well put together. You can definitely tell that the people behind FlexJobs actually care about doing a good job, and that translates into all aspects of this online job search platform.
I decided to give FlexJobs a few tries after I completed an online course in Proofreading Copyediting Basics last summer. I've only applied for a few jobs. Unfortunately, I haven't found many proofreading jobs seeking someone with my experience level and I find that disappointing. I don't think FlexJobs is a terrible place to seek a new career, but so far, using the site hasn't benefitted me yet...if it ever will. I will use it one more time and if I don't find a new job, I'm giving up.

I'm a certified professional in the field of Recruitment and HR with my whole career based in the US, although I work overseas.
I was really intrigued by the ads that I saw from Flexjobs and was really excited to give it a try.
Sadly, this platform didn't provide any opportunities to the freelancers and also the mobile application is on the AppStore has region restricted to US.
Suggestions:
- Bring more volume of job opportunities for overseas talent.
- AppStore region restriction to be uplifted.
If things get better, I'd love to give a try again.

The FlexJobs site has robust functionality and is very informational. I especially appreciated the filtering ability and the access to a wide variety of learning tools.
As a CPA and MBA with over 30 years of progressive experience in multiple industries, and as an actively engaged CFO for the last 10 years, I had high expectations for possible job opportunities. I was mainly looking for a "CFO by the Hour" or "Fractional CFO" role.
After searching for a variety of part-time, full-time, hybrid and remote jobs in the Accounting and Finance area on FlexJobs, and following the training guidelines for preparing cover letters and resumes, I struck out. After approximately two months and about a dozen applications, I only received one response from an employer indicating they had selected another candidate.

As much as this platform shares good job opportunities, I feel that it mostly captures jobs in US and Canada. I live in Europe and thought could get a remote job in the country where I live but there were no offers that corresponded to me.

Very few PT jobs available for Data Entry. That was disappointing.
My mother used it a few years ago. She liked the service so I thought I would try it.
Unfortunately I have not been successful finding a job.
I was interested in remote positions.

Overload of "techy" jobs. But that's not FJ fault. It's the nature of the remote job market, I suppose. But it does make my job search here feel more exhausting.
I chose it a year ago.
This is not my first subscription. My situation has become dire. A FLEXIBLE job can mean different things to different people. Full-time, part-time, remote, semi-retired, or retired. I paused my account because I wasn't using it. I stopped receiving emails, and forgot about. I rely on LinkedIn and Indeed. This a great resource for someone easing back into the workforce. The user interface could be easier. I appreciate the seven free days to reconsider.
It was good, but it was searching for more flexible jobs and usually I didn't find the jobst after my criteria
I wanted to search some jobs
I really enjoyed using flexjobs, however there was not much that was local to me and a lot of the jobs even though they were work from home they wanted a person local to their location.
I like your helpful webinars, your helpful email updates, and ease of use. I was hoping for a bit more job diversity (even before the pandemic) but I realize it takes time to build relationships and credibility in the job market.
When I do have time to search, just don't seem to find a good match

I have not used the Flexjobs website in several months. I originally subscribed because I considered virtual employment. I no longer want to teach virtually.
Yeah... seems that my searches always end up with same four jobs --never new ones- i realize the you have vetted the jobs but doesnt seem to update with new jobs very often -or keeps me in one category even if i want to move on to another
