Great resource! I decided to retire or I'd still use it!
Flexjobs is a great concept. The things that are offered are very valuable and you really can prepare and apply to jobs that fit your exact criteria. The only reason I gave it four stars was because I did not have any feedback from any of the employers I applied to. Whether that was because I just wasn't a good fit for them or because Flexjobs as an application method does not offer the best results, I can not be sure. It is certainly an excellent resource for knowledge and understanding of what it means and how to work from home or flexibly.
Flexjobs provided me with a lot of valuable info. Thanks!
A very well done service. The jobs were relevant and I was given timely updates when new positions became available.
I wish there was a way for a non-degree, middle aged person that has worked her way up in companies that has Work Experience to transition to a different field, work from home type opportunities. I have remote sales experience but wished I had other skills to do other types of remote work. I wish I knew what skills to learn to move into something else, which I don't know what but know it's probably out there.
I had a mostly positive experience with FlexJobs as I am currently looking for a job with flexible hours and duties. Presently, my circumstances have changed to where I am currently aiming to become self-employed. In the meantime, I will definitely remember FlexJobs as it provides genuine offers of flexible employment. It is particularly useful for living in the UK as it is rather slim pickings when it comes to looking for flexible work from home. I will also recommend it to anyone I know who is looking for flexible jobs where they can work from home.
I am looking for remote, part-time positions. Not enough available.
I have referred many job seekers to FlexJobs who are looking for non-traditional jobs and hours. My friends and acquaintances have very specific needs, and I feel the jobs posted here would better suit them than what they would find on regular job boards.
The website is great. I was able to find good leads for part time virtual work. Flex Job is a great asset.
Flexjobs has a lot of job search advise and the webinars were also full of great information. However, I was did not find enough jobs to apply to with my skills and job experience background.
Answer: Hi, Donna. This is not our company, nor an email address for us, so we would recommend checking out our tips on how to avoid job scams to see if there are any red flags with that company, https://www.flexjobs.com/blog/category/find-job/avoiding-job-scams/
Answer: Hello Abhishek! Thank you for your question. The salary levels are something that a prospective employee would discuss with a hiring employer. However, we do have an article on how to negotiate telecommuting salaries here, https://www.flexjobs.com/blog/post/negotiate-salary-remote-job/ The FlexJobs Team.
Answer: FlexJobs is a subscription job search service designed to help people find legitimate, professional-level, pre-screened telecommuting and flexible jobs. The reason job seekers need to sign up for a membership and pay a fee is that we dont allow ads on our site, and employers post their jobs for free so that we can screen them and remove any scams/bogus business opportunities/junk that comes through. While employers are able to post their jobs wherever they see fit, employers using FlexJobs feel that our candidates are committed working professionals. Free job search sites dont have a pre-screening process for their job listings or companies, so job seekers are exposed to countless scams. By being a subscription service for job seekers, we show that were 100% committed to them, not to advertising or to job scammers. Weve been featured by CNN, the Wall Street Journal, Good Morning America, Forbes, and many other major media outlets http://www.flexjobs.com/PressReviews.aspx. Were a member of the Better Business Bureau, weve received the VeriSign Trust Seal, were certified by TRUSTe for online privacy protection, and were a Certified McAffee SECURE Site to prevent online threats.
