This company likes to play games with the return of your security deposit. They tell you that the check has been mailed, but weeks later your check doesn't arrive and then they claim they've put a stop payment on the check and reissuing a new check. After multiple calls on a daily basis and follow up emails, they do not respond. I stopped by the office to try to pick up the security deposit refund check and they stated that is not allowable and I could expect the check to be mailed out that afternoon. The moveout was 9/21/19 and it is now 2 months later and the security deposit check still hasn't been returned. I was told by China who sits at the front desk that the managers want to make it as difficult for the residents to get their refund checks in the hopes that frustration sets in and people walk away from their deposits. Following this review, First Rent Corp will be notified by attorney on this matter. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY.
