Claim Your BusinessI have been wearing the marmalade leather sneaker I bought from this website for the last couple of months and I am very much impressed with the feel and look of the shoe. The shoe fits perfectly and is completely odor free unlike other leather shoes. This is a must visit place for those looking to buy good quality handmade leather shoes.
On the Fellmonger website and on social media, these boots are portrayed to be of high quality, handmade using premium materials, "world class quality" etc. What I received, although, it looked a little bit like the pictures was no where near in terms of overall quality. Catfished by a shoe! Lesson learned: not all handmade, good year welted boots are created equal. Never buy from Fellmonger. 1. Quality of leather - the worst feature of this boot. I was told this was a full grain leather. What I received was the most inferior and very thin leather made to appear thick by sewing a cheap, papery material as liner. 2. Workmanship: Mediocre - However, not even close to real international standards. 3. Laces: cheap cotton laces. 4. Insole: cheap papery material. Similar to inside lining 5. Toecap: not a real toecap. Toe portion sewn to rest of boot - unlike real quality where there are two layers of leather for the toe box. 6. Stitching - OK. However, seemed inadequate in areas where one would expect double and triple layers of stitches in high quality boots. 7. Colouring: This particular boot was only available in brown/ tan. I wanted black. It was delivered in black - however it looked like they'd painted or dyed a brown shoe. Some of the paint is still coming off on my hands and there are spots where they haven't completely painted over. I can still see the brown boot. Speed hooks: Cheap metal that can be bent and pried open with your forefinger alone. Overall impression: this boot should be in the Rs. 5000.00 price point (MAXIMUM). Not the Rs. 14,000.00 I paid for it. This is a total loss and the worst pair of boots I have in my collection. I will never be wearing it but will still keep to donate to a real quality boot review shop and YouTube channel. Look out for it on Rose Anvil (Youtube) Sorry Gaurav, quality is not subjective. It is either good quality or bad quality. These boots that you've sold me are the absolute worst quality of boots I have ever come across. You argued that laces can be replaced and that speed hooks don't take any impact - therefore it is OK. I'm afraid it is not. Please remember when, one looks for real quality, it is all these little things that matter.
