I would like to give an amazing review about Andre Johnson me and my fiance entered his store 3 times out of the 3 times 2 of the times the line was backed up due to him working by hisself. I think he did an amazing job with getting the customers out and on their way in a reasonable amount of time while under pressure to trying to assure that he is also giving great customer service at the same time. I recommend he may be able to run his on store soon. Thank You. A SATISFIED CUSTOMER
I bought a phone and went home it was defective. Had original receipt and the manager would not even exchange it. Store 01415 and was rude. The sign I took a pic of hanging right above register says if you have the receipt and box you can exchange. I want everyone to know family dollar does not care the phone and card was over 100. I only needed it for my dying brother to call when he was ready after chemo treatments. I don't think anyone should do business with family dollar they don't care about life long customers.

I went into family dollar in Lake Butler today only to find out Amber is no longer there. Shame on you. With customer service is at an all time low they let one of the best managers go. It will be mine and others who never come back. This girl knew your name your family and gave the best customer service. Perhaps you should look at the real issues. Again Shame on you.
Nada of rawsonville rd store rips employees off.she receives a bonus for turning your hours in late to payroll.by turning in your hrs late will negative your daily pay.end result you will end up owing a bunch of transfer fees for daily pay.witch means you won't get paid just like bunching a check.she did that to me at Christmas time 12/1/2023.she also did this to my sister last year and shaves hr.and the district manger ron be touching employes off camera.never gets fired.
Never go to family dollar in chubbuck, Idaho the workers rip you off. They apply amounts that you didn't want. They don't listen. Every time I Go there some sale associates f**k me over. I now never to go there again. They should shut there doors.

They are the worst customer service company around. They not on one schedule. Some do cash app payments some don't. I drove around to 3 different locations in the winter storm to make payments to cash app. It's sad that was the worst for me. I wrote this on 01/13/24

After filing a complaint with corporate about an assistant manager hiring her younger autistic brother and using him to do her work the manager of that store called my husband and made personal comments on our family situation, he shared the details of the complaint with employees and this assistant manager was texting me at the same time call was made. The siblings are still working in the same store(against company policy) as corporate has not seen this issue was resolved in several months. The autistic young man is still in the store with the dominating sister.
Teresa is the rudest employee at family dollar in ossipee. She swears at customers doesn't matter if you have children with you or not and has a very bad attitude. She discriminates against people that are affiliated with other people she doesn't like. She should not be in customer service!
The Manager has no Customer Service skills, " he hung up on my aunt", he dropped the ball on a customer all she was doing is she trying to make a valid cash return for my daughter because it did not fit her. They did not stand behind their own return policy practices at this location she has her cash receipt and she is within less than the 30 days. This store unfairly treated her who has needs in not following their own policy in place. They are supposed to treat as the customer with dignity and respect he and she did not I will be going to their corporate office head, NBC CT and reporting to the BBB.

Great location I work near by,. HOWEVER, the shelves are almost never stocked and workers are casually standing around talking to each other as if they're on break., They obviously only greet black customers and will go out of their way to help them,ONLY THEM.it's kind of comical bc I'm sure they have middle school educations so I forgive them. But I completely feel I'd rather spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

My reasoning for coming to the store was to complete a financial cash transaction also to purchase some household goods.
I wanted to complete my financial transaction first. So I went to the first register. I was the only customer in line waiting. The cashier was sitting down sleeping behind the counter. I spoke to the cashier and told her I'm waiting for you're help.
Cashier didn't help me until waiting for 10 minutes. Cashier asked me what do you want.
I explained to her I've been waiting here for 10 minutes and I needed to make a financial transaction.
Cashier then replied, what for. I told her I need to put a balance on a gift card. The cashier then responded using profanity. She commented " I don't know why these mother $#*!ing people keep coming in here to do this.They can make these gift card transactions any were. I wish they take this $#*! out of here"
The cashier then asked a co-worker that was standing behind the counter ring up this man because I don't know how to do this.
The co-worker then proceeded to the register as the cashier walked away. The male co-worker said what do you want. I told him I needed to place a balance on this gift card.
The male co-worker started and completed the transaction, didn't give me a receipt and just walked off. I then retrieved a shopping cart and started my shopping. When I arrived at the register.
The same male co-worker was behind the counter and said to me I'll take you right here.
I then asked the employee was the store manager available.
The employee responded, "why do you want to speak with the store manager?
I told him that's a personal matter and is the store manager available?
The employee replied he is the manager. I then asked but are you the store manager?
The employee says I'm the assistant manager and we don't have a store manager. I then asked well can I have the contact information for you're district or regional manager. The employee replied "Our company no longer have a District/Regional manager"
I then asked for Family Dollar corporate office contact information. "The employee replied, no need of me giving you that. They won't answer your complaint he's been working there for 4 years and I'm telling you they won't answer you"
I responded to the employee and said I'm still requesting the corporate office contact information. The employee then said, $#*! you, I asked what you wanted.
The employee then said I don't have time for this $#*!. I then asked the employee are you going to ring up my items? The employee replied $#*! you white $#*! I refuse to ring you up and you can get the $#*! out my store. I asked again for the number to the corporate office.
The employee replied I'm not giving you $#*! get you're fat $#*! out of here before I jump across the counter and kill your fat $#*!. I then told the cashier, that's the last thing you want to do. I then said I'll find the information on my own and I will report you.
The employee then said I don't give a $#*! what you do fat $#*! now get out the store before I beat the $#*! out your $#*!.
I left the store and completed my shopping at another retailer.
When I arrived home I started to research on Family Dollar website the corporate office management information. I couldn't locate it. I contacted several family dollar stores in my area. Only one store that finally answered was at the family dollar Broad Rock Road location.
I asked the assistant store manager at the Broad Rock location to take my complaint. The associate had given me the customer complaint corporate office number so I could file a complaint.
I made the verbal complaint with an employee at the number provided to me. The complaint was made on Saturday January 6,2024.
The customer service agent instructed me to follow up with the email complaint which I'm writing now as she reports the matter to the district and regional managers responsible for this store employee.
I'm eagerly awaiting a response but yet to receive one!

I went to Family Dollar to purchase a birthday card and gift card. I could not find one staff member in the entire store that spoke English. This is sad because English is our 1st language.

I believe the store should provide staff members that speak English as 1st language and Spanish as a back up language.

It doesn't matter which family dollar you go to in Memphis all are ghetto. I gave an employee $100.00 more than I intended to she took her own draw out went to the back in the office pretended to count her draw down came back in about five minutes and said her draw didn't have an extra $100.00 I knew she was lying and I know manager suppose to count the draw down but the manager was looking like a dumb A- - They all play loud music in every one of the store and using profanity also. These stores need professional managers and employees. We to another family dollar store the cashier didn't give me all my change telling me she's short on change again the manager standing next to her looking like an idiot. Staff is rude. Too much talking not enough working. Store is messy and not worth going there. Staff is not polite enough when they smoke right outside the door to go away from it.

I've been asking about this issue for months, but the manager refuses to update the price on the shelf compared with the price paid at the register. You pay more than $3.60 for a Starbucks iced coffee. But on the shelf it's advertised as $3.15! Again, two months have gone by since the price changed and I've asked about this at least once a week but I'm ignored. They seem to think it's all pretty amusing. This is store number *******, 332 Valley St. In Providence, Rhode Island. *******. Customer satisfaction is zero. Never going back there!

Me & 2 other customers were forced to leave behind the items we wanted to purchase bc the only employee working was outside smoking & watching videos on her phone. This happens often. If the are inside the store they're having inappropriate conversations on their cell phones while ringing you up.

I have no car. Single father to 3 toddlers. Family dollar wouldn't let me bring my shopping cart in the store. It has to remain outside while I shopped. I never complain or ask anything of anyone. I just want to buy my groceries and get them home before they thaw. News flash. If someone brings their buggy from home it's because they don't have a car.
There is a office that has no cameras where they can do whatever they want. Like say if your white she will steal 50 dollars or something to pin on you. Amanda is racist towards white people. What are we the 1890 where white hate black? What is wrong with everyone in this company? I love to be friendly but if your gonna hate me bc my skin then imma not shop at this Racist's $#*! store. Never stocked, always missing common items. I've had to return food items 2 times in one week. Expired food and mold on bread. Do not ever buy food from this place. Employees could care less. No apologies. Nothing.
They let homeless men who probably aren't homeless hang out outside all day and harass customers for money. One stuck his head in my car yesterday when I was putting items in car. Unbelievable. Would not get out of my face. I've tried to talk to employees about it. One just stared at me. Said nothing. Another one laughed and said "Oh well". I can no longer go to this store.
This store is on Greenville Ave in Dallas near Ross. Closest one to me. I still like prices on household cleaners. But now have to drive to another location because this store is flat unpleasant.
Someone needs to step in and do something. It's also not clean. Employees look like zombies. Miserable unhappy zombies.
