A relative of mine passed away in 2012 and I had to buy a casket for the funeral service. The prices at the local funeral home were rather high compared to what I found online for the same type of casket. I contacted the owner of the online casket company (Scott) and provided him the casket model that I was interested in from the website. I did this by a phone call and not be making an online order. It is better to contact the seller directly to be sure that the casket was in stock and could be delivered before the time of the funeral service. Scott processed the order efficiently and sent an online receipt to me with my credit card information. The casket that was delivered matched the description on the website and was in excellent condition. The only minor issue about the entire purchase experience was that I did not get the tracking status of the casket as to when it was sent out and when it would be delivered. I paid the additional charge for expedited service (2 to 3 days) since regular ground service would be too slow. The funeral home contacted me to let me know that the casket had been received and it was received within the estimated timeframe. The particular casket model that I purchased is no longer listed and inventory will change over time.
