THE WORST £1500 I'VE SPENT IN MY LIFE
April 10, 2020

THE WORST £1500 I'VE SPENT IN MY LIFE
Dear All,
I would like to share the terrible experience "that I'm still living today" with you all.
Please take your time to read everything. It contains very detailed facts of an unacceptable behaviour. I hope that those people will stop lying and tricking people to buy from them.
About 6 months ago, they contacted me trying to sell me an Epos and said, "We are Epos-Direct, one of the most important Epos Company in the UK". As I was already looking for one of those, I decided to give them a chance and booked an appointment to see a representative.
The day of the appointment came, the representative turned up. At first he seemed really friendly, but after how I had been treated, now I can say, that Aziz (the representative) was just fooling me. All his promises, were a bunch of lies, to secure the sale and the commissions.
After 6 months of arguing with a useless tech support, they still didn't set up my epos menu properly.
A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE the first thing I ever told those people including repeating it to the rep. (Aziz Nurani) was, "I would like to buy an EPOS hardware and its software as a one-time payment, and not any sort of renting contract". He said, "Yes, I will even put it on writing for you, that means you don't need to pay any license going forward, but it will cost you £1500." That same rep called me thrice a day during the following week, for the purpose of closing the sale.
Even though the tech support didn't set up my menu and I'm unable to use the EPOS to its 100%, it's already the 2nd time I've received a notice of renewing the license to be able to carry-on using the software, which is unfair and not at all what the representative promised me.
When I reported this to the company, a lady named Syeda, who said to be the sales manager, told me that in one of the terms of the agreement, in very small characters, they explained how the software license works and what the representative said or wrote will not matter. That sounds to me, that Epos-direct authorized their representative to lie, and if I think of getting assistance from a lawyer, that clause in the agreement is what would count.
I've asked to speak to a director of the company so many times, but they keep saying he is not available. According to Syeda, in 5 days, they are eligible to block my EPOS remotely and if I don't pay, I can even throw it in the bin. A £1500 investment would be just a great waste of money.
So I appeal to all of you readers, stay far from everything that has to do with E-Novations: Emperium-Pos or Epos-Direct. I don't wish anyone to be in my situation.
Next thing I would do, is to contact the https://www.ombudsman-services.org/ for advice, this is the last chance the director has to get in touch.
If any of you can suggest what to do or to help or had the same experience, please get in touch with me. My name is Marcello and you can reach me at *******4525.
Thanks for reading.

DONT TRUST WHAT THEY TOLD YOU
AND I THINK SOME OF THE REVIEWS IN HEAR ARE FAKE.
I RUN A SMALL OFF LICENCE SHOP IN WIGAN
I bought the system through *.
Over the phone and What'sApp he contacted me atlest 50 times explaining what the system can do. Like customer loyalty, limited access to the staff, stock control, finance with no extra cost, etc
BUT non this are included in them are added in the sales order. I was with an impression it's all included in the software. But once all set up and during training time they are saying for staff its £99+ vat for stock 99+ vat for customers 99 +vat altogether if u pay £350+ vat on top of 79+ vat/month and deposit and 99+vat admin charge for finance for the system.
So if they are telling you free finance it's not true their will be 99+vat. This will go from your bank account even before the system arrive to you.
READ CAREFULLY THE FINANCE AGREEMENT IT SAYS "THIS AGREMENT IS NON CANCELABLE" ONCE YOU SIGNED YOU ARE TRAPPED
Also if you try to question this discrepancy they will blindly tell you that it's clear in the purchase order these are not included. I have attached our purchase order from it it's not clear what's included/or what options are excluded LET ME TELL YOU ITS ONLY A SHELL IF YOU NEED TO GET THE FULL ACCESS YOU KEEP ON PAYING. LIKE ME I HAVE MADE A PAYMENT £250 for all the modules now they are telling for the consumer loyalty I have to pay again. So far I have paid £ 189 deposit £118 admin fee £250 for other modules and now asking me to pay more for customer loyalty. I have only reced the system yesterday and it's not yet ready to use as they are uploading the files now.
I have kindly ask to speak to a manager to discuss but not possible. Asked to speak to my sales man not possible as he is not available.
So once you signed an agreement you are trapped for ever unless you give up your money and use what ever they offer you.
So if you are going ahead with this make sure you got everything in writing and ask what's included in the software and what's not included.

Worst Service Ever! Do not use this Company!
April 9, 2019

Purchased the ED19 system from this company and have been unhappy with the service from start to even now. I purchased the system with remote cloud access to my laptop so that I could keep an eye on the sales during the day and also make price changes and product changes remotely.

The system was ordered almost a month before its delivery. 2 weeks before delivery i sent a spreadsheet to the sales person Balu who I was dealing with and this was not added to the system. When the system did arrive it did not have a lead that connects from the printer to the main unit and when I called Epos direct they basically called me a liar and said it was there which it clearly wasnt

Next the mains lead from the printer to the plug socket is dodgy and has lose wiring and turns off the receipt printer all the time and freezes up the whole system each time it goes off. I was promised a replacement mains lead by Alex which has still not materialised.

Next Venkat in Technical services was meant to sort out the cloud remote access to my laptop which didnt seem to materialise

Finally to add to all the problems I have now been told that I would have to pay an extra £100 plus VAT for Employee Management which is clearly shown on their website as a key feature and not and extra like I am now being told.

I am paying £1,700 for this system ( £500 odd deposit paid plus 18 months at £84) and at this moment in time I have a shoddy epos system that will be returned in 7 days time if it is not sorted out. I shall cancel the direct debit with the finance company. I will complain to the Trading standards that deals with the town they are based in, in London.

I will ask for my full deposit paid by card to be refunded. If they refuse to refund I will contact my bank.

I have had enough of this company. I must be the unlucky one but my god the service has been beyond the worst I have ever had!

I am hoping that in the writing of this that Epos Direct sorts out their act before I pack the epos system up and send it by tracked courier back to their office at 4 Selsdon Way, London, E14 9GL

I have also contacted Tower Hamlets trading standards who have told me they are in breach of agreement. I will send this system back in 7 days from now if they do not sort out all my issues

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SHAMBLES
February 19, 2018

PLEASE do not give this company EPOS DIRECT your money or satisfaction of your business, they also operate as E-NOVATIONS.

We are a small family run business and we went onto there website after doing some searches for till systems for our business premises. We purchased a system "outright" in February 2016, at the point of sale with the salesperson who was doing the sale and discussing the system on his mobile telephone always insisted that the system was a one off payment and there was no further fees to be paid as we own the system and the software as it stated on there website at the time and also offered a FREE chip and pin machine which isn't free you have to sign up to an agreement with a third party.

The system was never used for any sale and was never programmed for our products as we pushed the opening of the business back to September 2017 due to personal reasons. In September 2017 I turned the system on and it came up that the license key had expired, I then contact EPOS DIRECT to find out what was going on, it was only on this occasion the call handler said if you wish to carry on using the system you need to pay for a new license key. I took it on our decision that we could not be bothered with the hassle with these as the lady on the phone was so rude, I decided to put the system away and lose out on my £1000 I paid them in 2016.

In January 2018 I started to receive threatening intimidating text messages saying this is my 7 day notice to clear my debt with them, on receipt of this text message I rang them immediately to discuss, again the lady was rude and said I owe them the money and needs to be paid before its sold to a debt collecting agency. She advised me that I was in a 5 year contract which we have never agreed nor signed or verbally agreed at the point of sale.
Any form of legal contract should have the terms outlined in a PRE-CONTRACT document before any business takes a payment or enters you into a contract if there is a contract to enter into. There is no paperwork backing up there story that I entered this.

I contacted CAB and TRADE and STANDARDS and they advised me to send a letter of complaint and dispute the debt as this will force them not to sell the debt on and have to investigate the dispute and the complaint as each company has to have a complaints procedure in force. We was also advised to give them 14 days to respond and reply with any supporting documents to prove we entered this 5 year contract. They failed to reply and just sold the debt on. We are now fighting with a debt collecting agency called CROWN RECOVERY who keep referring to the terms and conditions we received AFTER deposit was taken. Terms and conditions should be made aware of or available prior to payment being taken, our invoice was emailed 6 days later after deposit was taken and actual states that you can not cancel or get a refund from your order, so there is no cooling off period.

We are now having to instruct a solicitor to take on this case as we have been miss-sold a product and the sales people are very miss-leading in the role of business. We will not be letting this case drop and will not be persuaded to make a proposal to these guys to pay any debt as by doing this we are then agreeing that we are aware of a contract.

We also have evidence to prove that if we purchased a system today there is no contract and the support and maintenance is optional, the license fee can be paid yearly but your not in contract so don't have to pay if not using the system.

Epos direct state they emailed me an invoice in April 2016 with a invoice of £432.00 and have failed to get the money, I have stated that the email address they must have is a non existing email address so they would of had a notification that the email has not been sent, so they would of had other ways to contact ourselves and failed to do so. 21 months later they are trying to pursue £2160. 00 plus the £350.00 fee for debt agency and if they visit my property they want £300.00 cash or card payment.

EPOS DIRECT and E-NOVATIONS hold customers to ransom by threatening behaviour and not providing customers with all the correct information you should be provided if you was to enter a 5 year financial agreement with them to pay the license and the support package.

What human or business would actually enter a 5 year commitment with a company without any PRE-CONTRACT documentation and clear highlighted information of what you are entering as I know I would not and my business would not either.

If anyone wishes to file a bigger case with me to watchdog or any other people if you have been miss-sold or miss-led on your products contact me by searching us on google.

Worse company EVER!
December 8, 2016

I ordered 2 Epos direct systems in December 2015 after some persuasive sales talk from one of their reps and eventually ended up paying a deposit of £400 + vat
Within a couple weeks I had found a better deal that Epos direct couldn't match and I decided to cancel the order.

I sent them an email confirming the cancellation and waited for the company to reimburse me, I waited and waited and called and called.

The person I needed was NEVER, EVER, in the office, or was on a lunch break or was not in that particular day and nobody else could help.

After countless emails and phone calls including a call to a manager on 30th November 2016 where I was promised that my account would be credited within 2/3 days, as usual nothing EVER happened, no money was credited to my account and there was no phone call or email explaining their position, in fact when I think about it they have NEVER, EVER sent any email confirmation or acknowledged ANY of my concerns.

Today (8th December 2016 I threatened to go down to their office to collect my money but soon realised that this was not the right way to go about things which is why I have decided to speak out and let other people know how this company treats their clients.

I would love to put the names of all the individuals involved in this debacle online but once again I guess this would not be the right thing to do.

Next week will be a year that I have been waiting for my refund and this is totally unacceptable, all I wanted was to be refunded but I am STILL waiting. They are in breach, as I have never received their equipment or signed any contract with them, and they are holding onto my deposit and refusing to refund.

DO NOT ENTERTAIN EPOS DIRECT/ENOVATIONS... AVOID THIS COMPANY!
