This store us my new bff for UK goodies. The cookies came in tact. The chocolate although I haven't opened and tried it, was NOT melted. They placed a freezer pack which melted but it did its job! I have to admit I was expecting melted shortbread chocolate cookies. However, that was not the case! Ordering was easy. Waiting for delivery and/or ship time was just a few days.

15% discount coupon only gave an 8% discount, not 15%. Finding items on the website is extremely difficult. For just one example: you sell a great ETS brand loose leaf Kenya tea. If you do not know that it is named "Kaamba Estate", I dare you to find it without cursing. Organization of products, filtering and search are really bad.
Organization and search results of teas in the website could be better. Search filters not as helpful as they could be. But... Good teas though! Worth the effort.
I emailed to let them know about the Decaf Ty-Phoo tea. Only a computer response saying someone will be contacting me. I wrote again, this time credit was given for the 3 boxes, still no human communication. I wanted to let them know about the counterfeit tea, it happened about 4 years ago also. I was disappointed in lack of interest.

I ordered 3 boxes of a twining tea, I received a tracking number, however, I could not track the package, I received no email communication about my shipment which they said I will be receiving info via email. It took over 3 weeks for my package to arrive and upon further investigation on my part, I found out it sat in my hometown post office for over a week! I will not be ordering again

We have shopped at the English Tea Store for years and been more than satisfied. However, our recent order was disappointing, in particular the Taylor's of Harrogate Spiced Christmas loose leaf tea. There was pretty much no flavor, even using more than the recommended amount of tea and steeping longer. On contacting the English Tea Store by phone the agent was unsympathetic, and not polite or friendly. On another topic, I was surprised to see the 1 oz tea samples price jump from $2.09 last year to $4.49.

I paid the little extra to guarantee the package arrived in good condition etc. which it did and being a small box I checked it to make sure no holes etc. were visible. However, once I opened the box, one of my bags of tea (Jasmine) had a hole torn in it and some tea had dumped into the box. I was able to put the bag into a zip-lock bag and save most of it! Because the outside of the box was perfect, it had to been torn when it was packaged! I do not need or want a replacement, just letting you know not all issues are from delivery!

The issue I had was that it came a week later after it should have been delivered. The first delivery company handed off to another another deliver or partner and then it was handed off again for local postal to deliver. Tracking number was changed and not shared until I started tracking the pack down. Also said delivery attempted but no access. Access to what? The recipient didn't live in a gated community, and local post office said no package given to them. FIVE days later, I'm told I need to schedule a redelivery date...there wasn't a first one. Super frustrating to have a surprise gift for my 90 year old father be so late!

In researching options for my purchase, I was very pleased with the prices on The English Tea Store's website. I placed an order for six jars of Bonne Maman Fig Preserves.
Unfortunately, the order of was severely damaged in shipping. I received a box with broken glass and preserves smeared everywhere. After cleaning everything up, I was able to salvage 4 of the 6 jars ordered. I asked for the broken two jars to be replaced. The replacement order arrived, and, through the replacement jars were intact, the seal was broken on both jars, so the contents were not safe to eat. I have requested either another replacement shipment, or, if that is not possible, a refund for the two bad jars.

Immediately after placing an order, I realized that I had forgotten to add 2 items. I was using a promo code, and the initial order was large enough to qualify for free shipping. I contacted English Tea Store immediately, however, did not receive a response. I contacted them a few days later, and they were unable to honor my request, nor to extend my special offer to cover the additional items. My initial order was quite large, so I expected that they would accommodate my request.

It took longer than was estimated for my order to be shipped out and once it did ship it said it would take a long time for it to get to me. Luckily it came sooner so that was good. Overall they had a good selection of products but I'm unhappy with three out of the five items I purchased. Raspberry is my favorite and I have several other raspberry teas but none of then are this horrible as what I got from here. Buy with caution and get the samples before buying the 4oz teas. That's what I should have done for sure. 10 out 10 don't get the tea from them. Just the honey sticks.
