Be careful of buying. When its overseas sometimes the item is being click delivered even you don't receive the item. Obcourse when you see delivered you will complain to the board where is the item why its being delivered but its still not delivered to you. The one who replied me first its says it still in custom. So im relying to the answer. After a week or 2 i complain to customer service. It says it been delivered a month ago and im too late to claim for refund. So how can you press report the item when their apps is automatically click by itself. And from my tracking report Still in busan post and was receved by me. The delivery guy can type anything to the report. I ask the customer service to provide the proof of picture that its been delivered in my door or i sign personally. But they just said the dellivery guy will come to me and explain how it delivered. How he will come and explain which i talk english in the first place. He can provide direct the evidence to gmarket. Not coming to me and explain. Bec i dont need explanation i need a proof and refund. What happened here is mishandling of the board and the courier bec some of delivery is lazy to take picture of the parcel. Most parcel that you been report in the board some of the delivery guy take a photo of it and send to you my text msg and or you really sign it personally that you receive. Now they just told me they cant do anything about it bec this apps is automatic. Your payment goes to seller direct. Even you dont received the item yet. If you want refund you ask their approval. Not like other ecommerce you going to ask for further investigation and they will refund to you. Here if your item is lost and mismanage by the board your item is gone. And your money is gone and they will give you 5 percent coupon which is not even half way of the price of the item.
I dont receive the item bec from my apps in gmarket still in busan seehow. How come i will complain that i receive which i dont receive. Im always here in the house. From the board report said "No one open the door nobody pressing the button here im here all day. Its the delivery guy is a lier. Because he know he mishandling the item and he's fault why its missing. How come it will come here to talk to me in korean. You need a police so he need to explain me further where is the item. Its not a joke and my piss and angry. You can tell the delivery guy is lying bec im here all days seating nobody press the doorbell and they will report to gmarket that nobody open the door how come. I wan to refund my money. But they say they cant. Its gmarket fault why they paying the seller first. This gmarket is automaticaly press delivered if overseas sometimes even u dont received the item. I report within the week i don't received the item. Somebody from this board which you can see that still in custom. And day to another i come to customer service again. She reply i'm to late to ask for refund which the item been delivered a month ago which is totally sucks. Im relying on this Board reply. The gmarket must not pay the seller unless totally received by the seller by pressing the apps received with not automatically click received gmarket must wait the seller to approved and rate the item. So what happened to my item is mismanage by board and by the courier which the delivery guy has no photos to show on you how it delivered and the item is not sigh by me. He just report received by the customer. He can easily type that but lacking is evidence that the parcel is delivered. Now i lost is 50,000 do you think is free its almost my 1 day salary. I WANT TO GET MY MONEY BACK.

I used to live in South Korea, and I had used Gmarket in South Korea several times. I have to say, if you can understand Korean AND live in South Korea, Gmarket is a very good website. They do look after domestic customer very well.
BUT, now as an international buyer, I have to say I was definitely fooled by my past experience. The buyer's right and protection is way worse worse worse worse than the domestic buyers. I made 2 orders in Gmarket (total 7 items). I can't believe BOTH order went wrong. The first order, one of the clothes got returned to the seller without my consent. I just got an email said the item has returned successfully. They said I will get the refund which is a big lie. They returned my item but they NEVER refunded my money + pre-paid super expensive EMS shipping fee. The second order is even worse. One of the item was a incorrect item, and unfortunately the poor wrong item was delivered to NZ already. Can't believe they didn't even check the item (especially international order) before packing them. Now they offer me two options, I can either send the item back (has to use EMS service) and then I can get my refund or they can refund me 10% of the wrong item price and I get to keep the wrong item?! Fxxx them, if I want the wrong item, I would have bought it from the first place. Screw them, I would NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER buy anything from them.
To whom who is thinking to buy things from Gmarket, please think carefully, I've read so many negative comment about Gmarket before, and I've already though those buyers were just unlucky, I was wrong, nothing to do with their lucky, it is just simply there are so many serious problems with this website:
1. The pre-paid shipping (EMS) is only an estimatition. The final weight is not just the item, the final weight you need to pay is the items + all packing boxes, in my case, I bought three clothes and they all packed in three separate cardboard boxes and then get packed in a big boxes. So you end up paying most for the boxes...
2. They have very clear policy how to take money from you but no clear policy to protect buyers when things go wrong. You can only pray that you are lucky enough to have right items sent to you. When things go wrong, they are very passive to help you to solve the problem, and the solutions are also very unfair to the buyers. They know clearly you can't do anything to them because you are overseas
3. Terrible quality control before sending out. All the items were sent to Gmarket warehouse and then get sent out together. In my case, even the label outside the box is different from my order, they still pack everything together and sent everything out. Unbelievable mistake, considering I paid almost 50USD for the shipping
4. The quality (especially clothes) is bad, don't be fooled by the nicely photoshopped photos.
Summary: shopping in Gmarket = throw money into the water
So... unless you HAVE to buy from Gmarket, I highly recommend, save your money, Gmarket is not qualified to be the international shopping website (in terms of buyer protection, aliexpress is way way way much much much better).
