Same bad experience as others now reporting on Google+ as well as here; emedstores.com and emedhospitalbeds.com took the money for our 92 year old father's much needed expensive hospital bed on 12/4/15, which we've never received. Now eMed doesn't answer their phones, email or online chat. Two weeks ago Rick told me they were having trouble with their new phone system; he assured me the bed had already been shipped to the third party installer for "white glove" delivery and installation - for which we paid extra. It was to have been received in the next few days and he guaranteed me I would get a call and an email. He gave me his extension to check back with (103), which of course is now inaccessible.
A nice way to provide service for a 92 year old WWII veteran with Parkinson's disease. Another reviewer gives a good overview of the DeZengremel family who own eMed and their various domains. It's not just the money - although that's plenty - we could have been looking elsewhere for a desperately needed solution!
I purchase online all the time. Rob DeZengremel and Rick DeZengremel both sounded knowledgeable about their products. But they are not honoring their commitments and have deliberately become unreachable.
I looked up their domain name... the registration appears to be expiring this month (January 2016). So who knows when they will disappear and reappear with another name completely.
Tip for consumers:
Read Google+ eMed Stores reviews, and search the DeZengremel name (Rob and Rick) before purchasing from them.
