This site is great! There are so many items to choose from that I couldn't easily find anywhere else. I placed a fairly sized order on the 23rd of November and I received it in no time. I did call customer service for a bit of help because it was my first time purchasing food online and they were really helpful. My package arrived fast and it was exactly what I ordered. I am definitely a satisfied customer and will be ordering for the upcoming holiday.

I have ordered many products on line and have never received a package in worse condition than that which was shipped by you. No care was taken in packing to insure the package would be received with out damage. To put can goods in a fed ex envelope for shipment in no way would protect them against loss or damage. Picture attached. Ordered 12 received 10 out of ten two were crushed. All were dented to some degree. I paid extra for expedited delivery and this is what I get in return. Disgraceful.

On Jan 25,2021, I transferred money to one of their agents to pay for my foodstuff. On Feb 17,2021, I messaged the agent to ask for a tracking number so I can see where my package is. I didn't get a reply. I messaged her again on Feb 19,2021, to find out if the package was sent. I was told that my package is under the care of a lady called Imelda who was in charge of shipping and would be able to assist me if I wanted a refund. I messaged Imelda and Richi on Feb 19,2021, asking for a refund and left a few comments on their Facebook page Kedai Online Malaysia (KOM by eFoodDepot) asking for a refund and status. I was told that I would get my refund when they have time to go through who needs to be refunded. The seller said that the palm sugar and fish balls that I paid for were preordered items. I'm not sure if these products were confiscated along with the agricultural produce that the seller said was taken by customs. Some of my friends received their refunds yesterday but I have yet to receive any updates on my refund.

Tip for consumers:
Please Google this company. I wish I did so I would have read all the reviews about items that were never delivered before trying to buy anything from them.

Products used:
None since I never received the products that I paid for nor did I get a refund.

The owner of this company is extremely rude. Calling his customer (me) dumb nut and with all kind of vulgarities. Non-responsive to my messages until I threatened him to contact 3rd party assistance. Refused to refund, did not want to accept responsibilities.

Had I seen the negative comments and reviews before I made my order, I would not do business with them. They are scammers, liars, bunch of thieves.

I ordered one box of beef floss from Imelda through text since July 31, but took them a month to shipped. I had to let her know that I haven't receive my first order.
Got my order and found out they sent me a wrong item. They sent me chicken floss instead of the beef floss! I texted Imelda & asked her and she replied sorry the warehouse must be wrong view. So I asked her if I'll get free of charge & the answer "hahaha" sorry can't.
Wow, really! First of all, It wasn't my fault. It was your fault! Second, very unprofessional to treated customer like that! We are not just talking about $12 here! We talking about how much money I spent already but they even didn't bother to give me one free of charge for my next order!
Well screw you Efooddepot! I'll never ordering from you ever again & I'll tell all of my Indonesian friends about your suck service!

My order arrived four weeks later after I had to chase him on his Facebook.
Most of the produce came spoiled. They were not packed properly. It was such a waste time and money. Don't order from this guy! Bad products and bad customer service!

I placed 3 orders from them. First two was alright but the last one was unacceptable. They selling you old rice that full of bugs and brown powder in the bag (AKA very old). Canned food were all bent and udon started generated brown water inside. When you look at the expiration date, everything is 2-3 months before it expired. I also order 2 canned of veggie but send me something different.
I tired to contact them but no respond.
So DON'T even think to buy from them!

Ordered wasabi, was supposed to be frozen, arrived with no cooling packs in 100F weather. Ignored repeated emails, finally got someone on the phone, was supposed to send a replacement, which never happened. Called back, voicemail is full and no one ever picked up the phone. Finally gave up and filed a dispute with my credit card. Fail.

I ordered German Haribo gummy bears. I printed my receipt which clearly shows a picture of the package in German writing. The bears I received I could have purchased at my local Walmart! There is no German writing and they are made in the US. They don't return my e-mails and don't answer my phone calls. Stay away from this company! Poor business practice!

Company does not have customer service. Voice mail only. Bunch of expired products (seriously, you can usually see traces of the expiration dates being erased/tampered with. And by the way, EVERY food product has to have an expiration date on it. So if you don't see it on your cans/noodles/bottles it's because it has been erased). They sell frozen foods yet I look over and over on the public record of frozen foods permits in OKC, and they are not there!

Per their website it states a 14 days delivery of goods. Mine was completely lost in their system. Only after I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges, it took them nearly 1 month to ship my items and this was AFTER my credit card company contacted them. My goods arrived all damaged. Cans were packed with noodles, bottles with cans and each cans were all damaged. $160.00 worth of goods damaged! In addition, one item was missing.

I'll take the time to physically go to the shops.

We have ordered a product that was to be from Germany. Instead, they sent one made in China. They think we would not notice. The company replied to us that we should get over ourselves because it was a bottle of sauce and told us that they do not wish we shopped at their store any more. How cute, lol!
We are in the processes of contacting US Customs to make sure that they are not brining products to US that have wrong country of origin and advertise them as something else than it truly is. That is deceptive.

90% of my orders were expired. They are very cunning, they either erased the real expiration date or covered it up with fake stickers they made. I peeled the stickers and saw the actual expiration date. SHAME ON YOU! THAT CAN MAKE PEOPLE SICK!

I never had any problems with them until now. I order my favorite Indonesian items from this website on Sunday, July 24,2016. I never got any confirmation about shipping information. I am waiting for 2 weeks, still no confirmation. Checking their website again, it is said packaged but never have the shipping information. I sent the email, no response. Complain to their website, no response. Call them, no response. Post my message in their facebook page, they removed my post without any resolve. Finally, I cannot stand it and call my credit card company. If you have bad management, then please don't charge anybody's credit card. It is just FRAUD!

I ordered a product here... looked at the picture very carefully and description. I know the product very well. They shipped what they call "The new bottle" which was not the description. I ordered a Teriyaki marinade and the bottle did not even say Teriyaki on it! They did not offer shipping for a return... called daily for a month and no answer AND EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES WITH SCREEN SHOTS OF MY ORDER AND WHAT THEY SENT ME. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE... EVEN IF YOU GET THE WRONG ITEM... THEY WILL NOT OWN UP TO IT! TOO BAD BECAUSE i GAVE THEM A CHANCE TO RECTIFY BUT THEY DIDN'T RESPOND

I received my order. However, it is missing some items. I tried to contact eFoodDepot on emails, website contact form, and voice mail. No one responded to me. FYI, they don't have life customer service. When you call their phone #, you are connected to a voice mail. I am still waiting for them to respond to resolve the missing items. They still owe me about $14. Stay away from them. They are the worse online store I have dealt with.

Here is my update on 4/26/2016: The store finally contacted me by email after 10 days. They asked for picture of the shipping list and offered a gift card if it was true that the items were missing. I told them I preferred to get the missing items shipped to me or my card credited for those missing items. So, I am hoping my issue with them will get taken care of soon.

Tip for consumers:
Stay away from them. Even though their price is slightly cheaper by couple pennies, it is not worth it since they missed shipping some of my items. So, it actually costs me a lot more to buy from their website. In addition, if you have issues with them, you cannot contact them to get it resolved. Their phone number leads to voice mail and no one calls back. No one responds to emails either.

No word on shipping status. No word on refunding my money back either. I told them I was going out of town soon and need to know the shipping date, their response was "when are you going out of town? " haven't heard from them since. If I don't get a response soon, I'll turn them in to the appropriate bureau.

I purchased goods totaling $44.00 from eFood Depot and saw on their FAQ that they ship within 1-3 days after purchase and email buyer with shipping info. (tracking, etc.). After fourth day and still seeing my order was pending on my account I called their customer service line and got a recording saying no one was available. I tried again later that day and got the same recording and left a message for a call back and did not got one. I sent an email to them inquiring about my order. Got no reply. Did same thing next day and told them if they were not going to ship my items to cancel it. Got no response. Finally, I contacted PayPal who I made the purchase through, and filed a claim. Fortunately everything I ordered from eFood can be purchased from other online sellers. EFood Depot has both the worst customer service and seemingly worst business management I have
Encountered for this type of online business. I recommend trying other online sellers first.

Do not sign up for efooddepot.com. Save yourself! I signed up because I moved to a new city and couldn't find this cheap (but delicious) Vietnamese instant coffee mix anywhere in a store. When they email you, there's a fake option to unsubscribe at the bottom. It's just underlined text that says 'unsubscribe'. There's no real option to unsubscribe. And there's no way to deactivate your account either. I also tried emailing them through their 'contact us' page, but they never responded to me about how to deactivate my account and to be taken off of their mailing list.

Unless you want spam and the possibility of a virus, do not sign up. This site should be shut down.

I ordered a bunch of food as a christmas gift. If never arrived. When I called they said Fedex says the delivered it and left it at the door... it is an apartment building in the city of philadelphia (maybe someone walking by enjoyed it?)... efooddepot says since fedex says it was delivered they are not responsible. NEVER AGAIN!

I'm surprised that they're still in business when it's obvious that they don't know how to run one!
I placed my order on Jun 17th. The order was shipped on 6/21, received on 6/27, and LOTS of the items were missing! I emailed them that night, no response. Emailed again the next morning, no response, until late in the day. They then responded and said that they'll refund $20 while the missing items were worth at least $60. I'm disputing the charges thru my credit card company.

I can't believe this happen to me as it happen to others. I bought over $80 few items and 1/3 of the item was damage due to unprofessional packing, some was expired yet they did not completely sending my order. I was really shocked when i got this.

I tried to contact them via livechat & call them but no respond from them as well.

I have to call my credit card company to explain this detail and took those damage and expired products for proof. STAY AWAY FROM EFOODDEPOT before you got rip off!

I received empty box that cost me $50! I ask for refund and they asked me to send picture of the empty box. I emailed them several times and only the first 2 emails were replied and the rest, nothing! This is such a BS company! I reported them to the FTC so they'll get investigated and close down! I suggest the other victims to do the same!

The coconut milk package and the peanut butter package was rock hard.

I should have known something was awry. When I checked the bottom of the boxes, every single box had a bar code sticker pasted on top of the manufacturer's expiration date. This leads me to think that it is not an accident. When I peeled off the label, all trace of the date was removed.

Be forewarned! Caveat emptor: Let the buyer beware. These appear to be unscrupulous merchants who purchase expired products and hawk it off to unsuspecting buyers. Rancid oils can cause food poisoning.

You would be very irresponsible to serve your family food like this!
