I was a "franchisee" for this company in 2018. I paid $30,000 for the chance to run my own online business. What I got was way different. I hired a professional marketing agency to advertise for me, and even they couldn't get any results, even though the director, Jimmy Crangle, had agreed that they knew what they were doing. As it turns out, I am not alone and have since met over 20 people who have been scammed by this company. They recently changed their website from itefl.org to eenglish.org. They are orchestrating a major Ponzi scheme taking thousands of dollars from their franchisees and then waiting for them to figure out that it was a bad deal. After I inevitably found this out, I asked for my money back and they simply blamed everything on me and refused. I threatened them with legal action and they agreed to sign a "Settlement Agreement" in which they would pay me back at the rate of $250/month. I agreed, not knowing what else to do and they failed to honor their first payment, so I got upset and contacted some of their affiliates to inform them of what they were doing. They then threatened me and offered to have my money paid back to me within a few months. A few months go by and right before they're due to refund me, they decide that I've broken the agreement and cut off all contact.

They are simply stalling for time as they continue to swindle people out of tens of thousands of dollars. They claim their TEFL courses are "accredited by the International TEFL Organization", but what they don't tell you is that the ITO is just the former name of their company, which can easily be found out with a simple Google search. They also steal referrals and broke their contract several times. They claimed in my contract that they would never recruit any more franchisees after Oct. 31,2018 and then continued to recruit franchisees and tried to say the same thing in Aug. 2019. They also claimed that once a customer clicked on my link, they were my customer for life, but I knew people who clicked on my link to sign up for the course and never got credit for them.
