"Committed to excellent customer service" is what the voice on the recording claims - I did not get this on thursdat 16th October. I would say the customer service consists of lies and trickery. I am on PAYG, and periodically they shut-off the phone, claiming there is no activity - there is as this phone is used for online shopping and whatever, so I can receive text messages - although it is little used - almost not at all due to eyesight. As usual i contacted, explained the situation, and expected the phone to be un-bricked - not this time though. They wanted to send a text message to the phone (ironic) but as i am half-blind and to make it easier for myself i asked for another way - the screen is very small. They would not co-operate. So as I normally do I told them to end the call as they are not helping. They dont like this, their MO is to use everything to keep their job, and if they end the call they might be admitting to not helping. But they can do this, pretend that the call is over by placing back into the queue with the music then returning a few minutes later to end the call - which many did. When I called and called, they take your mobile number, but dont do anything apart from writing account notes, which I think is the only reason they take the number. Then there was a slip-up, despite not knowing anything about myself as its a PAYG account, and i am calling using a withheld number, they suddenly knew my name - why? They have the ability to see-through a withheld number which they dont tell you about, this is part of the trickery of ee - what you dont know will never hurt you - right. But it does show a complete lack of respect not only of myself but everyone they deceive. It turns out upon investigation that they need "lawful justification" to get the persons real details - I have tried to get an explanation about this, but am now being stonewalled. I will never get that mobile back or the money that was on the account - yes the money has been stolen, but then again there is very little money on that sim. I have also changed my landline number.
