“They knew how to make games”

I'm just thankful to the company for childhood, starting from their NFS video games series, ending with the Sims which I also admired playing back in the days. Unfortunately, they have stepped away from the development of the NFS and that's a pity, cuz these guys really knew how to create remarkable videogames. I wish I had at least one opportunity to play some video games from them which would be of the same quality, with the same thrilling plot and awesome cast as it was two decades ago.

“Corrupt Consumer-Neglectful Cooperation”

If I could leave a lower rating I would because Electronic Arts consistently and habitually prioritizes profit over any other business, game development, or moral responsibilities. If you ever plan to play any of their mediocre game you are required to have an EA account in order to access any online features which would not be a problem on its own if Electronic Arts did not routinely disable accounts without warning removing any online functions from their games as well as any future EA games to be released or bout out.

Really annoyed, sat on the chat for support for a problem with my game for an hour and a half before someone was able to talk to me, and then that person clearly didn't know what they were doing and switched me over to another guy who told me to download something that will after downloading "stop the problem forever". Bare in mind i had to then sit and wait for this download to finish for 1 hour for it to not work. Completely disappointed. And no way am i going to sit through the queue again to talk to someone else who will most likely not help with my problem.

Tip for consumers:
Improve your support because your games are quite decent at times!

They stopped publishing games a long time ago. All they do now is publish cash machines and casino-like stores for you to spend more and more money on. People with addictive tendencies probably spend their last dime and more.

And I don't need your sh*tty storefront. The fact I still can't buy Mass Effect 3 on Steam or GOG makes my eyes bloodshot with frustration.

I've been boycotting EA games since DA: I, and I intend to continue doing so until they put a bullet in the brain of the reanimated stillbirth monstrosity that is Origin.

As a company, they've again and again proven that they do not actually care about anything else than sales. Fanboys are always there to protect them of course but anyone who had the unluckiness of having to deal with EA on a problem as a customer, they know how unhelpful and unsupportive they can be.
EA seems to go on as a neccesary evil with holdings onto the gaming world, I'd rather not deal with them any more than neccesary.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure to detail your complaints/problems VERY clearly in emails or phone calls, because they will ignore you as long as possible, so save from correspondence time.

EA was better before Origin. I don't need 100 different game downloading platforms on my PC. I don't want origin.
