I wrote a review a few days ago chastising e-rewards.com because of their requirement to have a cell phone to verify one's identity. They came back to me and found another way for me to log in and redeem my points. So, I feel I need to thank them publicly and show my appreciation for helping me. Tom Martin
After completing quite a few surveys I was prepared to collect reward. Now they demand government ID and photo to sign in. Two factor ID is plenty for banks and finance companies but s survey company wants far more? Had they asked for this when I signed up. I would not have wasted so much time doing their surveys. I don't think a small reward is worth the risk of having my identity stolen. Thanks anyway

After more then 10 years of using them, they suddenly require 3 party verification. I did it, which probably was a mistake. It said I was verified, but then e-rewards locked my account. So it looks like I lost all my points. It has taken more work lately to earn any points, and you have to put a lot of time in to be disqualified. So I am unhappy with them
Update: after several emails They have resolved the issue for me. I am still not happy with the need for the third party verification

All of a sudden they need my id and a selfie? Contacted support and they say they can close the account but I cant participate anymore without doing it. So let me get this straight months of surveys and can almost never qualify even with a fully filled out profile close to finally getting a reward and this verification that could help steal my identity is placed to continue but they will let me lose all that without verification. Such a waste and a scam.

In order to redeem points, E-rewards added a verification process through a 3rd party which requires a photo id; that I find concerning and discourages E-reward users from redeeming points, if you want to protect your privacy. I'm terminating my E-rewards account.
I have participated in e-Rewards for many years but yesterday I was unable to redeem my points for a reward due to their new, very complex verification process; Must use cell phone to send photo of government id and mug shot. I got lost in the demands and gave up. Also, NO cash rewards (like Survey Junkie) and long surveys with minimal rewars. Crummy site.
I appreciate this opportunity for a great way to earn rewards. The surveys are well written and easy to navigate.
They now require "Veriff" link to redeem rewards. It. Doesn't. Work! Tried e-mailing inquiry at *******@e-rewards.com. They also may have help at *******@e-rewards.com. I see they have just answered me from *******@e-rewards.com and want me to take a photo of the error - I'm not sure I even know how to do that but I will try the e-mail again if necessary. Also their phone numbers (googled) do not work - *******436, *******800, *******234. I'll keep you posted on any further "solution" from them?
Tip for consumers:
e-rewards has now made it difficult to redeem for gift cards - they verify phone contact and then make it impossible to "link" to provide photo ID ???? - not possible to follow through at my end. I still want my rewards !

I've repeatedly contacted customer support to get my email changed as the website does not allow members to change their own email address. ERewards customer services are either ignoring my requests to change my email address and contact me at my new email address OR they are writing to my old email address that is no longer in existence. Either way, I cannot get anyone at eRewards to help me get my email address changed. This means I get no more survey invites as the survey requests are going to my old email address that I can no longer access.

I can't use anything from eRewards until they update my email address.
Survey went OK, but was a bit long. I thought it was only 20 minutes and it took at least twice that long. Interesting questions for the most part
I've wasted several minutes on more than one review. Every time I do, it tells me I don't qualify and I get no rewards. Don't waste your time with this.
Tip for consumers:
Multiple surveys and every time I’m told I don’t qualify after minutes of my time.

No products, it’s a survey site.
E-rewards has made it much harder to accumulate any points for rewards. As stated in another review, you are essentially taking a survey only to find out you don't qualify for the actual survey. In addition, once you do have enough points to redeem, they have now partnered with something called Veriff. You now have to provide a selfie and a copy of your driver's license to Veriff. This is in addition to the code they already send to your verified phone number. My bank doesn't require this level of verification! Seems like a scam to get your personal info over to another company that does who knows what with it. Not worth it in my opinion. After many years of enjoying the survey taking, I'm done. Repeated emails to E-rewards support have been answered promptly, but have not resolved the issue. They simply continue to state my phone number has been verified. It doesn't address the issue of Veriff.
Generally good but often a survey will take quite a bit of time and then say I am nor qualified or they have enough respondents already. I think this should be determined before I have spent 5 or 10 minutes on that survey.
This site is having you answer survey questions, but gives you nothing in most cases. I myself started six different surveys, then after answering 15 - 20 questions on each, it pops up and says I don't qualify for this survey. So, I answer half the question for each survey then get no points for my efforts. I had already completed my profile to 100% so they should know beforehand if I qualify or not!
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
Over and over I get all the way to the demographics part of the survey and I am told they have enough responses. At this point, 90% of the survey is complete. They get all the answers and all I get is a partial reward. Never was this way until the site was updated this year. I've been doing these surveys for 8 years and it's not worth my time anymore.

This company has always been horrible and I didn't think that they could get worse but they have. They award nothing for your time and get away with it. Survey did an update and if possible they award even LESS fake money! I am disgusted with them. Answer 5 questions for amazon and get real money. Erewards is making a fortune off us and giving us NOTHING. Would rate them 0 if I could!
Tip for consumers:
Do not start with them! They get worse and worse!!
After several years of using e-rewards; I was shocked and disappointed you can't redeem your points without a 'valid' passport, ID etc and basically 3 different forms of ID to get pass before getting your voucher. Its like going through a kind of immigration process just to try redeeming a £10 shop voucher! Wouldn't accept my NHS work ID. I don't drive; so I can't produce a driving license. Also what if you can't afford to renew your passport!?! I wasted many hours doing their surveys to reach this dismal point. What was wrong with the previous and simpler way of redeeming points. I've written a message to them and hopefully it'll be good news; as I'm reaching the point of not returning. Other survey companies don't do this kind of nonsense. E-rewards used to be fairly good before. I can see I'm not the only person having the same issue with this horrendous 'veriff' system.
I have been a member of erewards a very long time! I have received great payouts in the beginning, but now they are constantly deactivating your account, holding your hard earned gift cards for exchange of a photo ID and a picture of yourself! Run! Scam. This new company is trying to steal our identity. When we signed up they did not ask for our personal information, so why now? I do not feel comfortable with sending a picture and photo ID! They also use to pay.25 if you do not qualify,, you finish a survey honestly and completely for them to not pay you at all! Scam
As with others, I have now been locked out of my account and have apparently lost 1500 dollars in survey points. This is because I refuse to take a photo of myself and also my drivers license and submit these online to a third party identity verification company. I've done these surveys for years and have no issues with text verification, 2 party identification etc, but submitting sensitive personal information to a third party company for this? Seems illegitimate and foolish. Also, this change was enacted with no notification to panel members, which is apparently allowed according to their fine print. Something smells fishy.
I really used to enjoy completing surveys on e-Rewards. I have reaped the benefits of doing them multiple times.
Lately, I almost complete a survey, and it kicks me out for whatever reason.
I realize that the site has no control over the surveys, but it's disheartening to spend 15 minutes answering questions and then be unable to finish. Not a good fit?!
I'm considering discontinuing my participation.
Took a bunch of surveys while recovering from a broken ankle and not able to do much else. I redeemed a $30 reward with no issues. But then I got to $90 and was suspended. They will not tell me why but I'm guessing I earned too much too fast. Now to "reactivate" they want a photo and real ID. Even if legitimate it is far too risky to upload pictures and driver license - especially when this personal information was not required to set up the account. If any other account of mine is locked or frozen (including financial/brokerage accounts, my online medical records, my online HR and employment records) they can be reactivated via security questions, sending verification codes, etc. Red flags all over the place.
You will complete 90% of a survey and just to be told "sorry, but your responses dont qualify for this...", after you've already spent 10-15 minutes answering questions! THEN, even if you do qualify for some, and build up a enough points to check out a reward, it will give you an error EVERY SINGLE TIME you try and check out. Not worth the time and frustration. There are much better and more reputable sights out there to join (such as IPSOS)

E-rewards locked me out of my account as soon as I got enough points to redeem for a gift card due to account violations they refuse to expand on. Impossible to get in contact with anyone and a complete waste of time
I am losing interest in e-Rewards because the time taken to complete surveys is not worth the points rewarded. Initially, a 15-minute survey would earn me 4.00 points, but that decreased to 3.50 points and now it decreased to 2.50 points. Spending too much time for too few points is not the way to go
