I made an online purchase from the local Dyson webshop, which was sent by UPS. I received an e-mail saying the order had been sent, but the tracking link in the e-mail was malformed (it went to the UPS page, but not to my order). I was very busy and it was not urgent, so I set it aside and waited.

I never received any notification (paper, e-mail or SMS) of attempted delivery from UPS. I presume this was a UPS error. When I finally had time to deal with it, I copied the tracking number from the e-mail and pasted it into the UPS website. UPS showed that it had been delivered to a pick-up point and then returned, because it had not been picked up. I contacted UPS, who said there was nothing they could do and that Id have to contact Dyson.

None of the Dyson e-mails contained any link to an order status page, so I sent an e-mail explaining what had happened to the address listed in the e-mail, and asked if it could be re-sent. I received no reply. After waiting a week for a response, I sent a second enquiry asking Dyson to either re-send it or refund my money. Two days later, I finally received an automated response telling me that my order had been refunded and I would receive the refund within 7 business days.

I cant even re-order the product because it was on sale and is no longer available.

My experience with Dysons webshop was one of the worst online shopping experiences Ive ever had. The product may or may not be good, but the webshop is horribly run. Buyers should order from more reliable sources.
