I posted a very clean ad to meet someone to go on dinner dates with. I posted a clean picture and not only was my ad removed. My account was suspended! WHAT?
Meanwhile, gay men post pictures of the genitals and beg for married men to have sex with them but that's all OK.
FK that site.
I use the word big in an ad and they wrote me back I'm sure you wish it was but we can't use that kind of language. WTAF? Meanwhile over in the men's page somebody's asking for a gang bang and mutual masturbation. Don't use this site especially if your a woman. I have those posts in case anybody wants to see doublelist cannot even argue with me
I'm not sure why the site isn't called Christianlist, because frankly only a southern bell or newly single Christian might find success on the site.
They delete any post that is flagged by anyone for whatever reason. You can follow their guidelines to a tee and your post will still be moderated.
I used to have a doublelist account but deleted it along with the gmail account it was associated with. When I wanted to start a new account with them... I was unable to do so because my phone number is still linked to the old deleted account. They said they fixed it three times but never did. They are complete morons in the tech world apparently... doing this site with not one IT person on staff obviously.
Getting real $#*!ed, keeps asking for phone verification on every post even though I have verified successfully 50 times already. Now it keeps asking me to rest my password every log in.
We have been using doublelist for about three months now. We have put in several ads looking for both other couples and select singles. In every ad, we have had an excellent response. This is not a site to find true love. This is a site to find fun NOW. We are in the LA and OC area, so it works perfectly for us.
Why would a hook up site block posts for being too "vulgar"? Why would a site block you to a phone verification page when the issue is that your phone number is being blocked for no reason? This site effing sucks and I hope the owners get hit by cars.
There was a learning curve to getting ads through Doublelist's approval process, but once I figured out what was acceptable and what is not no issues with my ads posting in a decent timely manner. The fact that you have to post PG rated ads on a hook-up site is incredibly annoying and definitely contributes to my low rating. However, my main issue with the site and reasoning for low rating is that my messages do not deliver.
When I post a ad, I will reply to it to see if I get my own message and they never come in. This is incredibly annoying not being able to reach other posters ads that I want to connect with, but also leaves me wondering if I am getting all the messages from people replying to my ads. I understand that there is a way to "block" a email from replying to your ads, but I've never blocked myself and I have replied to my own ads with multiple different email address as the contact and none have delivered. This is incredibly annoying and even more so when every ad I post gets replied to by the same people over and over again, no matter what ad and what you're looking for and no matter how far off from what you're looking for, seemingly spamming me but theirs always deliver.
In short, I am unable to contact users that are looking for what I am and no way of knowing if the users that are trying to reach me are able to get through as well. The site support is nonexistent as well so nobody is there to help you. The site has potential, but way too restrictive, both in what you can post and how it allows you to reply, or not reply.
Posts get flagged and no one responded to my posts. I had 4 live posts and got 3 responses. And takes forever for my post to go live. Waste of time. I found more luck at healthyfling.com
All my very g-rated personals ads get flagged. Silly website that has zero feedback, just sucks in every aspect.
Inconsistent, biased, unfair, and completely unable to respond to customer needs. Doublelist is a joke. It's frustrating and wastes your time. You post something that stays up for two months, then when you renew it it is suddenly rejected? They claim you can't post sexual things in the dating section, but it's full of sexual stuff--then when you try to do something with the word "massage" or "rub" they immediately delete it. Horrible, horrible site.
Never had one issue posting. Clearly the babies crying about are to $#*!ed to post and glad to see that are not allowed..
They need to come up with an another better adult site because diublelist isnot doing it! Y can't u view site w/o signing in? Y u have to be member. Another thing to is they always flagging u down when u post your ad up. THEY JUST SUCK. DONT USE DOUBLELIST!
I have reviewed and reviewed the guidelines for posts. No matter how hard I try... no sexual language, no nudity, nothing in violation, all my ads are rejected. There is no recourse if your ad is rejected. I see other ads with questionable language that are approved and posted. Thought this site would be a great community builder, but I give up!
Tried uploading an ad 6 different times. Each time, I edited it to make it shorter and made sure it had no sexual language or anything against the rules. My photos were face pics. Every single time, it got "flagged" and was never even posted. Crap is beyond frustrating. This site is useless, don't even bother.
The site is not user friendly. I linked the wrong email, I couldn't change it so I deleted that account. Then I tried to create a new account but my phone number is still linked to a deactivated account. When I tried to make a new one, the site told me to contact support. You need an account to contact support... this is such a sham.
I've done several test with different accounts, posts, browsers, sources etc and you are lucky if you get 3 out of 20 emails either delivered or received to your ad.
Site doesn't work for email delivery, you'll have to put your cell or Kik for direct notification in your ad
This site is useless. If you post a nice vanilla personal ad, they pull it down or don't even post it. But if you post something raunchy, it goes right up! My account was locked out for violating "terms of service" but I received no warnings or explanations. I have emailed support multiple times and they do not respond. I frequently helped them by reporting hustlers and underage accounts, and then they do this? Recently a page for some hookup site with a partially naked man would pop open when you logged into the site. I think this whole site is scam!
Way too restrictive. Keeps changing rules. I get submissions rejected that friends get approved. They have NO clue what they are doing and scared of their own shadow
Limits to 4 ads why? Goofy
Answer: It's on hold forever. Just forget about it. There is no need trying to contact customer service. There are better sites like http://joy4love.com If you are looking for hot girls - works like charm. DoubleList has always been worthless anyway. I only met just a bunch of scammers there.
Answer: Now that doublelist.com is forcing payments there will be more free sites popping up soon!
Answer: It's now 100% official, when you asked this question it was in a test phase & someone made an error of letting it go live. As of this reply you must pay a monthly fee
